In my defense, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that movie while sober lol.

 

Speaking of sobriety, when I was still a heavy weed smoker, I decided to watch Shutter Island for the first time ever. I’d also brought home half a lemon Bundt cake from the local grocery store’s discount aisle. I had taken an edible and took a few hits from my vape pen a little while before I started movie, and I was already feeling it during the first 10 minutes or so. Once the movie got to the point where Leo DiCaprio’s character started questioning reality, the fucking edible kicked in and it made me really paranoid. By this point, I’d also devoured the cake I bought, which had to have been over 1,500 calories. So I was sitting there, high as fuck with a stomach full of subpar cake going crazy with the main character, and I think at some point I paused the movie so I could go throw up. It was one of the most uncomfortable moments of my life, but it was also one of the best movie watching experiences of my life.

 

Anyway, it’s been almost a year and a half since I quit smoking and I feel a lot better.

Another stupid Commercialized, Monetized, Homogenized Holiday approaches where everyone (generally speaking) wants what they don't have, what they don't need to fill the hollow void inside while still not being sated with the never ending piles of dross served to them.

Insatiably spending what they do not have, will not make in the coming year, to play the game of the year...who spent the most.

Let's all put up the Idol, ( 🎄 ) worship it with zeal, lie to the children of a mythical being (  🎅🏻  ) who swoops down from the Great North to Judge you with the premise of gifts to the good, nothing for the bad, leaving feelings of inadequacy, jealousy behind for those spoiled little shits who just didn't get what they thought they deserved, expected, required, demanded of said mythical being, all while ruining the homes budget for the foreseeable future and contributing to the Global Waste issue with Ton's of Trash, Plastic, cheaply made crap that is broken in short order, and that does not say anything of the non-recyclable products being used and tossed aside when it is all said and done.

Who is laughing all the way to the bank? Corporations who only care of the Margin.

A friend and I were riding the lake in his Family Cruiser (33' twin engine yacht) I was helping him repair and test drive told me when people who have Money go on Vacation here it is never about the fun, the sights, the experience, it is about who spent the most money.

I spent $8,000.oo, well I spent $12,000.oo so I had a better time than you did.

He was fairly well off not usually telling tales for the sake of it.
