Molevalence Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 After a minor surgery and 8 months of physical therapy I am heading out west to work again this Wednesday. Hopefully for the full season which is 6-7 months. After this experience I can see myself being overly cautious of the terrain from now on. I just hope I don't get injured again.

Poet Olette Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Skyrim is mostly on my mind. No joke. Im going skyrim crazy. I have turned my skyrim into a japanese, final fantasy/dark souls type game. And i watch obscure skyrim setup vids on youtube and watch gameplay streams on twitch. (Although the most creative and interesting ones are the ones that are japanese and korean in my opinion). Skyrim is just such a open book, i b arely play anything else So its always on my mind @_@. On another more serious note, my grandpa is dying of cancer, he probably only has a week left, its of course sad, but im mostly trying to keep my mom happy and do what ever i can to make things easier on her, as her mother also had dementia so its hard taking care of her, so while grandpa is in the hospital shes at there house 24/7 taking care of her, i barely see her now as she has to stay at there house to look after her mom. Skyrim and cleaning the house is on my mind a lot these days because everything is so gloomy lately. Its a good escape, especially this forum!

OK what's on my mind needs no vodka Sitting in front of a fireplace alone and besotted, I think of a character Benny Hill played long ago where he'd start to tell a story (dressed as an old woman) and begin to weep copiously. The joke was that he'd cry at the drop of a hat from some soap opera or movie. (and he was very good at pretending to cry) There is a positive-thought thread here. There is a "why I love loverslab" (something) here. So why is it weird for me to listen to Curie prattle on about love (it is so intoxicating)? Worry when they make 3d VR games and tiny robots spouting positive thoughts, and no one ever leaves the house or uses cell phones anymore because they're too busy getting pumped up by virtual worshippers. "you're a god, Maximillian, and you can use my workshop ANYtime you like" The alcohol/drug/TV economy might dip slightly. PS I do not know what the next line is going to say, it's in code. My doctors told me a few years ago I wasn't likely to live this long without an aneurysm or developing full expressive dysphasia (only have partial E.D. atm...trouble with naming things and people), or even more problems with memory. I have Bailey's, Jameson and kahlua....I'll celebrate by attempting to artificially induce the symptoms of many brain ailments with alcohol. That'll show dem medicos!
arpaschad Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 my contract is almost done (4 years) and I won't renew it anymore...being in the call center industry for such a long time without going mad is an achievement for me and I'll take that anyday than any promises of a raise...describing the work environment as "toxic" is a major understatement...my friend called me up inviting me to work in their company held by a Korean MMO and Mobile game publisher...might just take up his offer...at least I'd be doing something fun and something I would love rather than being on the line everyday while some irate client berates you for not knowing how to plug in their laptop... I'm thinking first time in my life I have felt this feeling called "Freedom"...
Molevalence Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Made it out west to work after getting the green light from my doctor and physical therapist about my right knee. Second day out in the field my right knee pops twice in under an hour swells up to double the size of my left knee and now have a limp. Have to wait until next week to see a orthopedic surgeon to see if my knee can handle this kind of work. I'm quite frustrated but the only silver lining I get from this is if I have to go home the damn doctors have to give me the knee reconstruction surgery I ASKED FOR in the first place. Some days people want to watch the world burn. I guess this is one of those days...

Guy bought me a 1.75 Liter bottle of my favorite vodka. Didn't ask for it, but he did it anyway. Since it is the third straight day in a row that nobody has been home and my obligations are nonexistent I'm just going to get hammered. Probably going to think about tanks and have insane fantasies of people in my life I could never have a chance with. Cheers Friends.
