Nah, they'd just say they read and went right on past it and then bitch about it anyway. Or claim they still didn't know or understand. Its just a pointblank problem with society. People just want things handed to them without having to work for it or put any effort in. But maybe that's just me.

I just downloaded and installed this mod today. Latest version of both mod and game. Followed the instructions here and in the video included with the download. Pretty simple, not a lot of room for error. However, when launching the game it says it cannot find the .ts4script file and advises not to put it too many file levels down. It is exactly where the instructions said to put it (D:\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\WickedWhimsMod). Figured I'd ask if anyone had this issue before I start copy/pasting that file in various places to see if it works.

Looks OK to me.

Did you go into Game Settings/Other and enable both Mods and Scripts?

Did you also download some animations in case you haven't yet?

The should all be installed in a separate Wicked Animations folder in Mods.

 

When you load the game into your played household you should see a purple notification on the upper right corner about Wicked Whims loading.

 

If not the game isn't loading it for some odd reason.

AHA! I knew it had to be something stupid simple like that. I followed the instructions (the whole time thinking "i've been modding games since I was a kid, this doesn't look like rocket science! Durrrr!) Got as far as making sure the enable mods box was ticked and then quit thinking about it. I found the script option, enabled it and now everything works just fine. Thank you very much for saving me from myself.

took me forever, but, check all your mods comparing them with the list above: it's constantly updated with errors, broken mods etc.
if you use mac, you'll resolve your issues with patience and: took all your cc off the mods folder, save them in a HDD and with 50%-50% method you'll find your corrupted mods.
in the doc you'll find mod names and creators, look for your mods in this doc and delete them.
I saved an older version fo WW and Nisa, use them instead of updated version, they'll work until Turbo will come back (PLEASE, RESPECT PERSONAL LIFE: CREATORS DON'T OWE US QUICK PROBLEM SOLVING IN VACATION!).

My sims refuse to get naked - they're always fully clothed and even after I go into settings 'remove all clothes' they're still wearing them. Is there any way to fix this?

Okay, it's been a long time using WickedWhims, and now I have to ask... There are animations where Sims use dildos and such... where do I need to place those items, or how can I "tell" the Sim which item needs to use? If I pick one of those animations or Sim "choses" that type of animations autonomously, they have nothing in their hands... Tried placing a dildo in the floor, but nothing happens.

It's an issue in the game itself, not related to WW as far as I know.

I wish there was a way for WW to avoid resetting the action queue, whenever a sim autonomously asks for sex. Isn't there one, is it??
I want my sims to have somewhat free will, so any sex happening in my game is autonomous and it's really annoying having to interfere and stop them, when I think they are doing some chores I set them to do and find them going at it instead.

Haven't found anything yet except to disable WW Autonomy in settings when I want to get things done without interruptions.

You can also Shift+Click on your sim and just disable them for autonomy.

 

Then later I forget and wonder why Autonomy isn't working, lol.

So the possessed sims can't have sex anymore? I'm playing StrangeV first time, and I can't find the ww options when possessed sims around.

I saw the funny picture on reddit showing 2 possessed sims were having sex, but the post was years ago. Is this being fixed or am I missing some mods?

Whenever I need to have my sims focusing on stuff that I need them to do, I found the easiest method is to put up the "No Sex On Lot" sign.

That way they focus on chores and skill building without sex autonomy distracting them.

Then just remove the sign when it's time to cut them loose for play time.

The first time I put it up, I have to search through the catalog for it but when I remove it, I just put in in the household inventory so it's always easy to find.

 

That way I don't have to change any of my settings or fiddle with shift+clicking autonomy for sims. I'm not saying it's a better way to do it but it works and it doesn't hurt to have options.

Despite finally getting around to picking up TS4 and modding it just as a load of new mod-breaking updates and patches came out, I actually seem to have most of the mods working for now (fingers crossed!) and 99% of WW also seems to work just fine, but I just can't get it to recognize any of the Cum Mesh replacers, whatever I try. I've tried Cherry Pie's and STOC, both singly and together, and both with the .package files in separate folders (one layer down from /Mods) and with them only in the WW folder, but I only ever see the default option on loading up the game and going into the WW setup menus.

 

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

It might not be you doing anything wrong. The Sims-team sent out an update just a couple of days after a major pack and another major update. That tells me the game isn't entirely stable in it's current form. It might be Turbodriver and the various animation creators have a few late hours to go until it's all back on tracks.

Cherry Pies' mesh only works if an animator has used the mesh in an animation, it doesn't work for every animation. So if you don't have any animations that use it, you won't see it. STOC may be broken. I remember seeing the creator say that it may need to be updated and they were working on it, but I'm not sure on that one.

You mean the cum texture? It would't change for me either at first. Apparently the replacement file has to load before WW does. So I put it in my main mod folder and put a ! in front of the filename and the texture changed.
