cleavagesweat Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 1.3 Made a rule but not sure why i keep getting "No animations" (see attached). where do you add the animations? where's the documentation? help? To have animations you need to create at least one rule. The animations you will see are all possible animations for all possible rules. Btw: CPU again GREAT Work but we still need topic for rule exchange I will start it today or tomorrow. Thanks for reminding me (but be aware that I did not forget. I was just too tired yesterday.) but cpu i do have a rule. its between 2 npcs. is there a walkthru for a standard rule that we can learn from?
cleavagesweat Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Yes, at the end of the user guide. oh i see. the user guide is in the downloads... i'm silly. apologies i think it was the ALL TAGS HAVE TO BE PRESENT
Guest Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 And the thread to exchange the rules is created: here.
Next_To_Nothing Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 I'm having a bit of trouble creating a rule that is somewhat like the old 'SexLab Approach' mod. Essentially just having the NPC as the player for sex, and on occasion, taking what they want on denial. The strange thing is that unless I set 'Player Raped on Denials' to Always, it never happens. Even when saying yes, I get the message 'Scene manager: the result of the interaction will produce no sex'. I'm a bit stumped, I built the rule using the Simple basic rule in the guide, then added a few Rule starts on parameters (which work fine, NPC's still approach). I think the issue is in my Interactions settings I suspect it has something to do with the aggression settings, but I'm rather stumped.

"Usually" on the "player raped on denials" means that if you say "No", then there is 50% possibility for the scene to have a rape. IN the other 50% of cases nothing will happen. I will give a more advanced look later this evening. Try to set "player raped on denials" to "Always", if you always want a consequence.
cleavagesweat Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 i feel sorry for CPU... i can just see him rolling his eyes at all the questions rolling in.

I am happy to help. thanx CPU... btw i now have 3 rules up & running and all seems to be working nicely. personally i think we need a new thread for rule exchanges... it will let ppl see what the possibilities are. btw, my game seems to be alot smoother and faster without LOVERS COMFORT. any idea why?

"Usually" on the "player raped on denials" means that if you say "No", then there is 50% possibility for the scene to have a rape. IN the other 50% of cases nothing will happen. Does that example 50% probability still apply if you say "Yes"? In other words, is the random number calculated prior to the answer such that any answer could cancel the interaction? If so, it seems more intuitive that "Yes" unconditionally starts the scene (which might be aggressive based on the RNG), and "No" introduces the consequence logic. I eyaballed the script source to answer my own question, but it'll take some time to fully grok.
Guest Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 On the user manual, close to the bottom, there is some explanation about how this is calculated. I can do better if you like.
Chosen Clue Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 I've gotten a weird result from a rule that has an NPC ask a player for sex. On denials, I have it set to rarely have the source masturbate or rape the player, but those seem to have a chance of happening even if the player says yes to sex. I just tested it with a male NPC, I said yes, and then he just started masturbating on the spot instead of getting into a sex scene with the player. I also found that rape on denial suffers the same issue, where a rape could happen even if you've accepted sex.
Guest Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 I will give a look to these results. There is a possibility that there is an error in the calculation formula.
Chosen Clue Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 I will give a look to these results. There is a possibility that there is an error in the calculation formula. I'm also getting a lot of "Scene manager: Result of interaction will produce no sex" when accepting a proposal to sex from an NPC. Any idea what could cause this? It seems to only happen when there is no chance of masturbation or aggressiveness when an NPC asks the player for sex and they're denied.
satanfist Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Hi, Everything apart from creature based rules are working for me. I have waited to see if anyone else may have issues with creatures, but just ole me The scanner very rarely picks up on creatures (I have tried all 5 modes), even if they are standing right next to me. I have messed and messed with the settings in participant selection, in the hope I could get some joy. What I have found is (at least on my system) an irregularity in changing the settings for creatures. I have tried 'creatures', then swtiched to another setting 'dogs and wolves' and now cannot change it back to 'creatures'. I started a new game, removing all traces of the previous versions, before installing your latest (revised) 1.3 release. You will see from the image that I try to select creatures, but it only remembers the previous setting on exit. As usual there is nothing in the log to suggest a problem. However if the issue is in selection of participant, then it won't be looking for the right source actor and as such won't appear as an error. If you can follow my attempt at logic
satanfist Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Hi I managed to repair thr rule 'Bad Dog! by exporting it and removing the contents of the string "srcRaces" : "Dogs;Wolves" to "srcRaces" : "" This reverted the source actor label to 'All Creatures'. By selecting another option this string should be cleared, it's not!. However, I can't see how this would prevent the scanner from picking up on creatures. Interestingly, if you switch scan modes something is overidding the race MCM settings. I'm currently testing in Riverwood and the 'cow' race keeps being enabled. I have found settings that allows creatures to be pickup, using cell scanning, but not the other modes. For the other modes I did move around and wait a long time for each, but no creatures. Rule Edit - Bad Dog!---------Rule Participants Target Actor(s) - Female Human or Player Source Actor(s) - All Creatures Who Plays the Passive Role - The Target Rule Starting and Filters RandomlyDefine Animation or Tags for the Rule In Case of Aggressiveness - Do NothingAnimation for consensual consequencesGender Tag - Use Lazy Gender TagsRule Properties Enable Orgies - NoRule Dialogues and Interaction Aggressiveness - NeverHope this helps anyone having similiar issues with creatures Bad Dog!.json
Guest Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 I see. I can re-set the race filters in case you set "All Creatures".
satanfist Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Hi, Further testing, If I enable one and two participant rules (Just Do It! & Succubus), then creatures are no longer pickup by the Bad Dog! rule. If I disable both human rules, the creature appear again. I have temporarily stopped using the ENB Boost application (by Boris Vorontsov) for test purposes. It does seem that the rules are in someway comflicting with one another. Whether this is a memory issue, I can't say. At least on my system that is by no means modest (4GHz i7-4790K with 8GB ram on Windows 10). It should be enough for skyrim. Just Do It!.json Succubus.json
jwideman Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Though this isn't the only mod I have installed, I seem to be getting frequent CTDs. Is this mod particularly script heavy?
Guest Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Though this isn't the only mod I have installed, I seem to be getting frequent CTDs. Is this mod particularly script heavy? This mod is not super-light, but it is not "script heavy". Use the "Performance test" in the MCM, Advanced Debug options, to check if your installation has too many stuff going on.
