VirginMarie Posted November 20, 2016 Author Posted November 20, 2016 I start this quest but after ask Elizabella for a new thief location I lost this quest (I don't have it in journal) , now I can't coninue this mod, I can't speak with she about this quest At what point are you in the story? First time to doing thief quest? Have done thief quest before? If #1, you will be stuck unable to progress. Try typing this in console SetStage VirginTraining 110 (careful.. do not use this if your situation is #2) If #2, there's no real problem because the Bodyguard will give you the quest again after some time In vanilla (without this mod) I complete quest witth stolen statue but in this mod I can't complete quest when I must kill thief, I don't have it in journal after I ask for new location. SetStage VirginTraining 110 When I use this command I be teleported to Clavicius statue, why? This is the point in the story where you exited the Twilight Sepulcher, and you are told to go see Elizablla. Next she will give you the Thief quest. This is assuming your situation is #1 above. If not this will not help.

The workout gag came from the Zaz animation pack. Cool as it would be we have no idea how to make such plugs. Do you know of any assets we might be able to use? Loss of control of weapons is something we have seen a very large number of requests against. We have even had to implement more than a few patches specifically to stop that from happening. As such it is most likely not going to be included at any time without more people requesting it. This has one or two plugs that move in and out, if VirginMarie is intrested and can get permission.

I just checked them out thanks! They are bit too "modern" looking to fit with the rest of Virgin items. But very tempting to see if I could get permission. Might be able to change their texture for the right look. I will definetly look into this further.

Previously I mentioned only Anal devices) [Workaround feature incl. in Virgin v3.0] - Devious Devices Integration v3.3 Issue - Due to changes in DDi, Virgin Anal and Nipple Devices cannot be removed manually with DDi v3.3. Solution... For Nipple Devices, no problem... you can use the MCM Device Tab "none" option, then "reset" to remove For Anal Devices use Virgin v3.0 release, which added an MCM option to remove In the next release, the MCM option to remove will be improved to be a super slick handy feature instead of a workaround. It will be a "auto remove all devices - if you are not in Virgin Training" option! Note: I cannot make manual removal just work normal as before anytime soon as doing so would force a dependency on DDi v3.3. I intend to keep compatibility with earlier DDi versions for a while.

We removed the old versions of the framework from downloads because they are no longer supported. I would recommend upgrading your mod as soon as possible before obsolescence leads to major issues.

I have updated. No obsolescence shall creep in Version 3.0 was released with a compatibility feature to handle DDi v3.3. The next version will improve upon that some more. But in both cases they remain also compatible with 2.9.2+ There's no reason for this beyond knowing that some users will want to wait a bit. I will always do everything possible to support both current and most recent stable version, in this case DDi v3.2. The change log for current release says: Tested with DDi v3.3 - One issue found and workaround provided (see "Remove Anal Device" item above). Otherwise working fine. None of the DD updates are required

Reloaded mod a few times, waited several days and still wont show up. could there be a conflict with devious cursed loot ?? I have that one as well.

It's tested extensively with Cursed Loot always present. Are there other mods also not showing up in MCM? For example if Devious Devices is no longer present in MCM, then this mod would not be able to run. Since this mod has been fine in MCM, and now stopped, think about what has changed. A new mod added could be hanging up MCM. Try the steps in Troubleshooting #1. If that does not help, lets see your Payrus Log (how to get the log is in FAQs).

Best log would be where you just start up the game fresh, wait 1minute or till notifications stop so we get all the startup, then exit to desktop. That's the log we want. Then regardless of size, put it here as an attachment. Make sure you actually saw the problem too for this session hehe. Also please tell me versions you are using for... It starts off reporting many missing files. which does not always mean they are missing, it can mean your save is expecting them but you've changed your installation. These sort of symptoms are common if you change you load order, or remove mods mid-game (i.e. make a save, do those things, then use that save). My guess is that you've updated the DD mods, but also made other changes, maybe just sort order. So now your save is not compatible. What happens if you start a new game? My bet is that if the install itself is clean and load order is correct (you've used Loot to sort for example), then on a new game, this mod will be happy and show up in MCM. Even if not, that's your next step... to make sure the game is working when you start a new game. Look at the log for a new game. You can expect a few errors dumped from some mods that are known to do that, but you should not have hundreds. Go to that Troubleshooting item I linked above and use those steps.

Soooooo i use an alternate start mod that solves the problem. And yes i do mid game add or remove mods in hopes of solving quest errors. [ deer in the headlight look ] See., i know what i'm doing... Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help. Had Alduin land and do nothing more than a few times myself. Fact is the opening sequence is very easy to disrupt and break all the way up until you get inside Helgan Keep. Updating or adding/removing mods in the middle of a playthrough is not a massive problem as long as you keep a clean save of your game that is stable to return to if needed. Even a modified save if it contains all the mods from before the changes you have made can be hugely beneficial as the issues that can pop up from adding/removing mods do not always occur.
VirginMarie Posted November 22, 2016 Author Posted November 22, 2016 Skyrim hates it when the order changes. You can add mods mid game to the END of your load order fine. But if you re-sort, or delete, you are going to screw up your save, it's only a matter of time. The reason delete is a problem is that it causes the order to change in terms of position (example: mod 10 is removed, mod 11 moves down to 10, and everything else after it). This is how so many people eventually corrupt their saves. It's commonly done, and not enough people seem to understand this due to mod organizers that make you think its fine. It's not fine. Don't remove mods during a play through, only add with no re-sort.

Are you just talking in general? I'm not understanding, from this post or you last one, if you still have a problem or not. Did starting a new game re-create the problem, or show that it works?
