Started this mod yesterday for the first time and it´s awesome so far

I´m now on the mission "Sleep with Cassia for the night" very beginning, but i can´t talk to Cassia

because i still have the gag from Nocturnal equipped...

I just followed the story and Nocturnal said on the beginning don´t take off the virgin devices and now i can´t talk lol

Is it possible to talk with the workout gag?

i have Cursed Loot installed but after the Gag Dialog "i understand what you say" are only 3 dots "..." and no dialog...

Can someone help?

i just selected the "release controls" option from ME

its not the best solution but it works

Maria prevents the intended ability to "gag talk" that DDi gives you. This mod relies on it. You will need to be able to talk in other case with Virgin.

Thus the work around of not wearing a gag is the best solution if you are going to have Maria running at the same time. You can pick "none" for Gag in Virgin's MCM Devices Tab.

Also since you are playing with Maria, I'm always curious to know if there are any other mod conflicts with Maria. I suspect there could be but have only ever confirmed the gag talk conflict. Please report if anything happens which you think could be a conflict.

i have chasty pircings, anal chain and all that stuff equipped but all the normal sex scenes are shown when i get raped etc.

after the sex act a message pops up "anal chain protected you"... is this normal that penetrating scenes are shown while i wear protection stuff?

I could fix it by entering the MCM, Devices, clicked on Sound, but did not change any option. Probably it works just by entering Devices. Anyway, when I exited MCM, all deivices got unequipped, then reequipped and the gag was fixed.

ok good to hear i'm not the only one

but for me it fixed itself after my first rebirth, so yeah, maybe it just has to reload or something

I had this happen exactly once during troubleshooting. I had done a showracemenu to make a few tweeks to the characters image and upon exiting is when the problem happened for me. I was never able to reproduce it and figured it to be a one off thing. 3 people getting the same issue makes me think there may be a root cause. I'd like to see if we can figure this out but we are going to need a bit of info.

1. What race you are using- The workout gag is not compatible with certain races such as orc. It should work with no problem with Nord, Imperial, Redguard, and Breton at the very least. I'm assuming you are using a race that should not conflict, but it never hurts to be sure.

2. What you were doing when issue happened- Some events are known to cause oddities with DDI mods that are uncommon, such as issues when items start a function right as you open inventory or right as you mount a horse. If there is a common point in all 3 cases it could tell us why the problem occurs.

3. Where in the story you are- if this is happening when meeting nocturnal for the first time then it could be related to other things that are happening. If at another point it may be harder to pin down. Again if we have common circumstances it would help narrow things down.

I don't use things like Maria Eden or Cursed Loot so I don't think the issue is related to those. The gag itself has not had any significant change in several updates which means this issue is likely happening to several hundred people who simply have not reported it. One of you is running a new character at least and when it happened to me it was a new character not an upgrade, so I don't think upgrade is the cause.

The more info we have t try to recreate the issue the more potential causes we can test.

That is normal. The chastity devices allow you to engage in sex scenes without losing virginity. Every time you engage in a scene that would have cost you anal, vaginal, or oral virginity with a virgin device you should see that message. Don't worry if you have to run without a gag as the only virginity at this time that requires rebirthing is vaginal. Nocturnal wont punish you for giving out a blow job.

Another issue pops into mind: when loading back the game, sometimes the animated gag is positioned high above the character's head. Like 4-5 meters higher. Part of the gag is on the forehead. Reloading the game fixes it after a while. I don't know if unequipping and equipping will fix this or not.

I had this too, I'm guessing it is some upgrade issue.

3 reports of the Workout Gag freaking out. Never had reports of this before, so it does seem like something's changed. Odd as I can't think of anything that changed for it. One of you did not upgrade so it's not an upgrade issue. I will attempt to figure it out.

If resetting (changing sound is the same as resetting) does not fix, I'd guess changing to a different gag, then back again, might do it.

Note that you can always change to a different gag at anytime using the MCM Device tab. Don't need to be stuck walking around with it glitched

Questions to each of you:

I just tried and can't recreate this problem yet. I've tried some obvious things. I need to understand better...

What race are you using?

What were you doing right before it became glitched? Or was it upon equipping? If yes, what equipped it and when in the story?

It is actually 2 reports, 2 were from me, i just found the fix after I posted the 1st issue.

1 - Race is vanilla Redguard.

2 - When I saw the bug 1st, I was manually fixing the body of my character (it was UUNP instead of UUNP Skinny, so I had clipping issues). All this took only overwriting the character body files with the proper body. I also doublechecked if anything overwrites the Bodyslided UUNP Skinny SLV devices, nothing did (but they did overwrite the original ones in the mod as intended). I did all this in MO. After that the devices were on their proper location, except for the gag. Tbh, I don't think my bodyfix had anything to do with it, since the head is a different file.

Otherwise I just saw this bug after loading the game.

Every time you engage in a scene that would have cost you anal, vaginal, or oral virginity with a virgin device you should see that message. Don't worry if you have to run without a gag as the only virginity at this time that requires rebirthing is vaginal. Nocturnal wont punish you for giving out a blow job.

DDi, by default will, for example, prevent vaginal loving if you have a chastity device on. And prevent other scenarios. But you can turn that feature off using it's Sex Animation Filter Tab - Use Animation filter (option only in latest version of DDi).

If you have that on, then this would not be normal. So if it's on, or you use a earlier version of DDi that does not offer turning it off, then we should talk further (would be DDi not this mod, but we can still see if we can help).

Then this mod's role comes into play... no matter what actually happens with sexlab, this mod will not "count" it if you are wearing a Virgin Device that's meant to protect you. With non-Virgin Devices, you WOULD get penalized.

I recently tried this mod the 1st time. V2.8 I have 2 questions:

I'm a bit confused what Nocturnal wants from my character. She was a virgin when she started the quest (pressing N shows Virgin: Yes) so I'm not sure what is she talking about. I'm guessing the mod automatically assumes that the character is not virgin?

No no I expect you to all be virgins! The dialogue is designed to anticipate either state of virginity. Any chance you can tell me specifically what line of dialogue confused you? Nocturnal does act like she does not believe you regardless of what you say. Her plan is to check you out later on and determine your status then.

I can't tell where exactly she said it, but she said something which suggested that the character will become virgin again. I'm not far into the story, I just finished the Sepulcher part, so I didn't have much dialogs with Nocturnal yet.

The other is a freeze issue, I wonder if anyone else have similar experience. In nocturnal's temple I had 2 freezes, both when I tried to Quicksave. Both times I was near a quest area (Nocturnal's statue and the well). I'm not saying this mod does it, I just normally don't have any saving issue. So is it just me?

A save issue like that suggests you are running on a corrupted save or install problem. Usually not ever related to one specific mod, but adding more mods can take a fragile save and take it past a point of working well. Not good as it means you are likely going to be susceptible to other problems too. Should try to fix.

One way to rule out both install issues, and this mod, is to try on a new game... of course that's going to take you some time to get to that point to see. If you want to speed up the test substantially.... Start new game.... in MCM Misc Tab, Skip Story... now you will be at the point of first rebirth and you can immediately go to Nocturnal's Sepulcher and try the save. This is a cheat so I'd suggest using only for the test if you've not seen up to that point in the story yet. In case you did not already learn this through the story... you can go to the Sepulcher by worshipping Clavicus Vile's Shrine in Haemars Shame.

This is a new game which I started to try the new Captured Dreams and this mod. CD kind of interfered with SLV (Nocturnal couldn't equip her 1st devices), so I did reset CD. After that the SLV worked w/o problem.

I checked the savegame, the tool didn't find any issues (no orphans, no empty script instances). The game runs smooth, I have only the usual XPMSE spam in the log (I know I could deactivate FNIS esp). I have 112 mods in this load order, but most of them are the usual suspects, UI mods, DD/SL, clothing/armor mods, SLAL, etc. I have only 4 major changes compared to my usual mods - CD 4.xx, SLV, Notice board (and with it comes Cutting room floor) and Ordinator.

Oh yes only 2

The Workout Gag is a Zaz Animations asset. So how it all works is a partly a mystery to me. Because it has the animation, it can be expected to glitch once in a while and I doubt the original author knows hot to stop that either. I can only look at how Virgin has implemented it... can't fix it's "glitch-ness". After looking now I don't think anything has changed that could effect it. Your body change while not changing the head, could still have triggered something.

Let's watch and see if it happens more than once in a blue moon for you. Please report back if it keeps reoccurring.

i have the newest version of ddi and on the animation filter tab i have all 3 selected...

on zaz i turned it off and on cursed loot i selected chasty belt protects from rape...

with the devious device chasty belt it works somehow but not with the virgin devices

Edit: on deviously helpless was attackers strip chasty belts activated, ups... i hope it works now

It's this the following dialogue then I bet. You are not the first to say it's confusing, but I've tried already to word it differently. How could I make this better?

Two possible paths...

Player: Virgin Training? You are mistaken. I'm not a virgin! it's too late for me.

Nocturnal: Is that true? Upon completion of the training, if needed there will be a rebirth to regain your virginity, and I will release you.

OR

Player: Virgin Training! I'm an innocent virgin! Why do I need training?

Nocturnal: Is that true? Upon completion of the training I will check to see if you are telling the truth.

If needed there will be a rebirth to regain your virginity. In either case I will release you.

Did this mod handle that gracefully I hope? If so I don't see it as "interference", but just normal reaction of this mod not being able to equip you.... playing nice with CD rather than just removing its devices.

So I'm hoping it simply told you what's up, and was not causing errors etc. The Idea would be for you to finish the quest with CD, go back and plead with the master in the shop, or whatever, before continuing with Virgin

So that seems all fine. But if you do keep getting save CTDs, you've ruled out bad save, so that leaves bad install. If you have a reproducible scenario, if I were you, just as a test, I'd start by removing the 4 new changes, then add each back in one at a time till you find out which one, if any, creates the problem. Even that has to be done with care as removing and adding mods back in mid-play is how you can create a bad save.

I think I'm confused about what the perceived problem is. If you still have the problem could you describe in more detail what exactly you are seeing.

If the perceived problem is that the Cursed Loot "chastity belt protects from rape" is not working, then this would be a question for Cursed Loot. Maybe that feature is only intended to work with Cursed Loot Chastity devices, as opposed to any chastity device.

I see your edit and I'm not sure what it means.

Loosely on the subject of gags floating above you (something I've not seen, though I always remove the gag as fast as possible), I occasionally have had problems with the skeleton key ending up floating around my feet. This too goes away on resetting from the MCM menu. I'm experimenting with the soul gem as I'm pretty sure they key would hurt frost, though I think a smaller soul gem might fit easier!

Yup the skyrim engine thinks that the anal devices are weapons and will "rag doll" them on death (one consistent way to glicth them). This was the orignial reason I added the reset deivces feature.... because you can't re-equip yourself if no key, and I can't stop the glitch... I doubt even the orginal author of these assets knows of any way to fix that.

Of course Nocturnal by default will save your ass from death so then you don't see this.

Smaller soul gem you say? But you wanted tight so no viibrations I thought? You can take it.

Try disabling the cloak spell (XPMSE MCM first tab 'Disable style cloak spell'.

It might make your game a bit more stable (it seems to be quite performance heavy), but at least you will get rid of the XPMSE spam in

Papyrus log.

Since you are giving so extremely good response for each report/feedback, here are some more.

My character has now the help of Nocturnal when she would die. According to what Nocturnal said, she can sex herself back to life. This worked several times now, there were even delayed multi-orgasmic events as well. (another issue maybe that I didn't see my character when the black smoke appeared? I hear her moaning though. I'm guessing here that SL can't find an animation becausethe character has all her holes plugged,) After that the she gets the punishment collar for a few hours, so everything seems ok.

I noticed 2 things however, neither of them critical, more like just immersion related.

1.) If I check SL Aroused Redux, it says the character didn't have any orgasm lately (during the time period these deaths/multi-orgasmic events happened).

2.) The character is wearing that collar/chain/nipple clamp combo. When the punishment collar is on, the chain disappears.

3.) (Bonus question ): Shouldn't a gag which prevents normal communication prevent shouts as well?

4.) I just remembered another, again just an immersion bug: When one of the delayed multi-orgasmic event happened, the haracter didn't remove the armor for the animation. I'm unsure if that happened on all occasions, but I definitely remember when she had an elven armor on.

No no I expect you to all be virgins! The dialogue is designed to anticipate either state of virginity. Any chance you can tell me specifically what line of dialogue confused you? Nocturnal does act like she does not believe you regardless of what you say. Her plan is to check you out later on and determine your status then.

The other is a freeze issue, I wonder if anyone else have similar experience. In nocturnal's temple I had 2 freezes, both when I tried to Quicksave. Both times I was near a quest area (Nocturnal's statue and the well). I'm not saying this mod does it, I just normally don't have any saving issue. So is it just me?

A save issue like that suggests you are running on a corrupted save or install problem. Usually not ever related to one specific mod, but adding more mods can take a fragile save and take it past a point of working well. Not good as it means you are likely going to be susceptible to other problems too. Should try to fix.

One way to rule out both install issues, and this mod, is to try on a new game... of course that's going to take you some time to get to that point to see. If you want to speed up the test substantially.... Start new game.... in MCM Misc Tab, Skip Story... now you will be at the point of first rebirth and you can immediately go to Nocturnal's Sepulcher and try the save. This is a cheat so I'd suggest using only for the test if you've not seen up to that point in the story yet. In case you did not already learn this through the story... you can go to the Sepulcher by worshipping Clavicus Vile's Shrine in Haemars Shame.

This is a new game which I started to try the new Captured Dreams and this mod. CD kind of interfered with SLV (Nocturnal couldn't equip her 1st devices), so I did reset CD. After that the SLV worked w/o problem.

I checked the savegame, the tool didn't find any issues (no orphans, no empty script instances). The game runs smooth, I have only the usual XPMSE spam in the log (I know I could deactivate FNIS esp). I have 112 mods in this load order, but most of them are the usual suspects, UI mods, DD/SL, clothing/armor mods, SLAL, etc. I have only 4 major changes compared to my usual mods - CD 4.xx, SLV, Notice board (and with it comes Cutting room floor) and Ordinator.

Try disabling the cloak spell (XPMSE MCM first tab 'Disable style cloak spell'.

It might make your game a bit more stable (it seems to be quite performance heavy), but at least you will get rid of the XPMSE spam in

Papyrus log.

Thanks, I'll try. I don't really have performance issues though, I have a few much more Papyrus demanding profiles in MO which run stable. Still, every bit helps.

Two possible paths...

Player: Virgin Training? You are mistaken. I'm not a virgin! it's too late for me.

Nocturnal: Is that true? Upon completion of the training, if needed there will be a rebirth to regain your virginity, and I will release you.

OR

Player: Virgin Training! I'm an innocent virgin! Why do I need training?

Nocturnal: Is that true? Upon completion of the training I will check to see if you are telling the truth.

If needed there will be a rebirth to regain your virginity. In either case I will release you.

Maybe I just didn't have time to read properly the first time.

I'm just thinking loudly here, I might be wrong: Maybe the concept of virginity is not tied to Nocturnal in the players' mind, which makes it harder to understand it. Maybe some made-up lore could prepare the player, but then there is the question of how the players gets it? you could of course put a book or something in the Bleak Falls Barrow, but no guarantee that the player reads it, except if you do it in a quest. Maybe a pre-quest before the player can shout?

For example the player finds one of Noctural's devices and wants to know more about it (either because she is curious, or she wants to appraise/sell it or because she wants to remove it (if the player was stupid enough to equip it ).

Of course this all might be completely unnecessary, I just found the preparation for the quest too long. It would be nice to be abe to do something before the character can shout (if the player doesn't want to cheat).

Definitely worth looking at. Were you wearing a device at the time?

The punishment collar occupies the same slot as the virgin collars, effectively replacing it for the duration. I don't think there are any other slots we could put it in.

3.) (Bonus question ): Shouldn't a gag which prevents normal communication prevent shouts as well?

The gag was specifically designed to allow shouting and ignore the normal restriction due to the namesake of the mod. Limiting your ability to shout also removes the most reliable way of having nocturnal pop in from time to time which is whenever you use most shouts. Unlike other DDI related mods the design in Virgin is not to completely halt large amounts from being able to enjoy Skyrim and regular play but rather to run alongside it, occasionally with a little extra surprise.

4.) I just remembered another, again just an immersion bug: When one of the delayed multi-orgasmic event happened, the haracter didn't remove the armor for the animation. I'm unsure if that happened on all occasions, but I definitely remember when she had an elven armor on.

So far the introductory lore has been left on the main page in the description so that people knew what they were getting with the download. The rest is gone over as you progress. Getting through the main quest until you can shout is simply the most logical starting point as of right now, but we may be able to come up with something. Items like books are very easily overlooked though, so maybe not that. We'll have to see what can work reliably before I can say whether or not it would be done.

When you go through the door behind Nocturnal's statue there is a hallway to the left. It leads to an area with a lower level. The statue you want is the statue in the water with pedestals on either side.

XPMSE actually works perfectly as a skeleton, without it's esp. Originally it did not have one.

In other words, if you don't want to use any of it's in game MCM features, you can disable it's esp, cleanly removing all the unnecessary things it does.

It's esp is indeed script heavy.

Turning black fog off in MCM, only turns it off for an equipped, enchanted, skeleton key. You can't turn if off for when Nocturnal saves your ass, or any of the other cases the fog appears

When you say you can't see your character does this happen each time, or just once? Normally you should see you character through the dark fog which also goes away well before things end. There will be times that you end up invisible due to the position (walls or terrain getting in the way)

The multi-orgasmic events are actually occurring because of the Breast Torture Collar. The 2 punishing collar's bleeding will cause that (settings in MCM). The good thing is that delayed orgasm heals you

Sexlab is not used to play any "player self loving" scenes in this mod. They are played directly. So it can't be sexlab having trouble finding an animation

What's equipped is not related as there should be arousal due to "Self loving" (normally taken care of by sexlab). Since the "Player self loving" scenes are not being played by sexlab (as mentioned above) , this is also why Aroused is not getting events. I'm glad you brought that up because I had intended to send events to Aroused when playing these scenes directly. Added to my to do list... if I can figure it out

Yes, The chains are part of the collar. Take the collar off and no chains. Working as designed.

The gag was specifically designed to allow shouting and ignore the normal restriction due to the namesake of the mod. Limiting your ability to shout also removes the most reliable way of having nocturnal pop in from time to time which is whenever you use most shouts. Yes, initially I offered no Virgin Gags. Because no shout = no playing this mod. Now Nocturnal tells you in the opening scene, that she's enchanted the gag such that you can shout. Just trust that her magic is badass

This was actually a change for v2.7. All player self loving scenes (loving back to life, delayed orgasm, first word Thu'um of Love, and Shrine Love) will not undress. Most of these can occur in combat. This was to give you the option to, for example, love your enemies to death, without the disadvantage of less armor. Using the more powerful word 2 and 3, for example, WILL undress you.

*blush* idiot mode again, sorry. Am still trying to get a new spit location as I really don't want to slaughter all the stormcloaks where the current one is set to.

So far, I set follower mode on and found somewhere quiet and shouted. She turned up, teased me or told me to relieve myself (rinse and repeat) and then hurried off again before I could talk to her. Do I need to be in a fight for this to work?
