I don't know what story mode refers to, but there is nothing unfinished in this mod.

SE Conversions aren't as complicated as some mod authors make them out to be. Especially when they don't have .DLL files. You can check my files, I've converted and uploaded over 70 L.L. mods for Special Edition. It's a shame that so many great mods aren't available for SE. 

Well, the issue is Shout Like a Virgin is doing some very fancy effects that most mods don't do. Like Particle Effect nodes in the nif's. The melting feature is probably what is causing problems with SSE, but I can't figure out where that is processed.

 

In my testing it isn't the Virgin Halo alone. A lot of the equipment have issues with SSE apparently. I've even stripped EVERYTHING out of the ESP myself, and only have the required entries for a small set of equipment, like the anal torch, workout gag, and dagger harness. I've stripped all mentions of Shout Like a Virgin scripts, dialogue, actors, etc and switched all scripts to Devious Devices, as well as updated/added default variables so they act like normal key-unlocking and struggle-freeing devices. (Pulled info from Devious Assets/Expansion esp's) Basically, the esp has removed all requirements from the original Shout Like a Virgin esp.

 

The result is that the textures still have odd black particles going haywire. I'm not sure what is causing this but I'm pretty sure it's something in the NIF's. I've even tried removing the NiParticleSystem nodes, and it doesn't fix it. This is beyond my expertise at this point.

I assumed a Nif as well, I threw everything I have at the Nifs, and can't figure it out either. I played through the entire quest line with out any problems. Just this one super annoying thing. grr....

Sorry but no. There are many out there for installing skyrim mods. Your issue is not this ONE mod.

Not true.

This is from the install instruction, last step...

 

In game use MCM option "Run Installation Test" on the first tab. If the test fails, see Troubleshooting #3 

 

It will verify all is installed correctly, other than visual things that would be related to if you used Bodyslide correctly. But for Bodyslide, you can change/fix anytime, and will not need to start over.

You have been there. Same place as where the rebirth is. I think you get a map marker too, if the quest is selected.

On noting a few of your post I think I can give you the best starting advice.

Given your total newness to Skyrim modding, your probably not even trying to add the correct mods.

Odds are you have SE not LE ( special edition vs Legendary Edition ) which means unless you know how to correct the mods LE doesn't work for SE.  

 

Modding skyrim is one of the easiest games in history to mod. You do however have to have the basics in place.

Your choice of a mod Manager  VORTEX / Nexus Mod Manager / Mod Organizer

 

MCM is simply the mod control menu. If you have it, you can instantly tell and adjust 99% of script mods like this one. 

THIS MOD is an LE mod. 

 

There is no such thing as a time required to play to verify mods. You don't even have to wait on timed events to verify they work.

You are not giving me enough info to know where you are at in the quest.

 

First, look at your Virgin Training quest. Make it active so you have a map marker. Read the incomplete objective(s). Do what that objective says. Read the full description. If you still need help, tell me exactly which objectives you have incomplete, or a screenshot.

The reporting interval is set to 30 days in MCM. Will reporting and rebirth (end of the second and subsequent virgin training) take place on the set number of days?

I don't understand your question very well. Reporting in is voluntary. You do not need to wait the interval days, this just sets the point at which Nocturnal will punish you for not reporting in. When you report in, yes there is another rebirth.

 

If you've completed the full questline for Virgin Training the cycle will never end. This is so you can still continue to lose and regain your virginity. See FAQ 14 for more.

самый глючный мод . с одними только DD модами возникает много проблем когда стоит много секс модов , а этот мод сам по себе тяжелый что 1 + 1 = 2 что приводит к еще большим глюкам и ошибкам = что в конечном итоге ломает скайрим или делает игру невыносимой .

Давно можно было бы уже сделать эту модификацию  независимой , за столько лет автор только напихал много говна  вместо того что бы сделать модификацию независимой и в следствии чего более стабильной .

well according to virginmarie, you cant use a saved file to play shout like a virgin when you install it

so you are forced to play a new game, and play 2 hours until the mod begin, which is a pain, also the mod may not be installed correctly and you played 2 hours for nothing, which is even more a pain
