Unpack this patch into your Data folder, it should fix that problem...although I'll admit I'm a little suspect, because I've never had a Satyr spawn INSIDE a dungeon. I don't know if that will fix your dungeon CTD problem. What dungeon is it, if I might ask?

The lion-taur has become a normal (miniature) lion, too. Unless it's not supposed to be one of those lion-taurs.

 

Attached what do their faces look like in races in CS, which certainly doesn't look standard. What's weird though is that the goat faun works fine in the game, and they both render correctly in NPC window in CS.

It still CTDs though. This time it actually let me inside for 2 seconds before crashing though.

It'd seem that it's not faun that's the problem though. since it appears in testcell just fine now... xD

That's normal with the Faun: has something to do with how the hair is positioned in its .nif file.

 

RE: The Lion-Taur, I couldn't find any feasible justification for Lion Centaurs in TES's lore, so I decided to make playable Alfiq Khajiit. They're just still WIP, hence only being in the test cell.

It should still be possible to simply de-activate the .esp without immediately corrupting the save file. Can you try deactivating it and re-rentering the dungeon? See if the game still crashes.

I also had the missing textures glitch show up on occasion. On some Kajit as well as Gods and Deara Avatars or whatever you call their virtue manifestation, don't remember.

Now the really weird thing is that it seems to be dependent on which time of the day it is. I've noticed that when doing Azuras quest. Her winged familiar was glitched on one side of her face when it was just a bit too late in the evening to get the quest, when still in the morning when I'd waited until it was dusk, but when turning in the quest she looked ok. Must be depending on how much light there is somehow. Kajit also don't all have the texture issue.

 

I also had it happen that when loading a game where I'm in the middle of the countryside the game CTDs after a few steps even though when I made the save I continued without any CTD until getting killed and needing to reload.

Reading @SinisterPoem's message it seems I've also run into an issue with a monster not working. Obviously a random one, so only CTD when it spawns. Don't use  AutoSetBody or Dynamic Underwear System either.

I can't even load the game if I deactivate the esp and the patch (and can't load even if I rebuild the patch after backing up the main one).

 

I'm pretty sure it's random spawn that CTDs though, since I could enter it without problem after the game rerolled the spawns after 3 days, and I don't use other mods that'd add new creatures (at least I think so..?).

Man, it'd be so convenient if it'd be possible to see what's inside the savefile. I mean, the bad spawn sits there, mocking my attempts trying to find it throught CS and entering test cells multiple times checking when it doesnt crash...

It's pretty sad that there's no such thing.

Ok so I finally got around to updating to the new version, it appears while overwriting files when I installed the new one something broke a whole bunch of textures.  A bunch of MBP stuff mostly, a lot of races have purple skin textures, missing faces that are just floating eyes and mouths, or pure black, flat looking hair.  Not that I've ever NOT had a problem getting MBP to work, of course, this could just be another one of the dumb things I've done to slowly destroy any functionality that mod has with my own poor understanding of how it works.  But there's a couple other things that weren't right as well.  Some of the corpses that this mod adds to some of the dungeons were also messed up.  To test things I made a quick run through Vilverin, that ruin across the lake from the sewer exit.  There was a "devoured corpse" that was a mess of chunky black textures and floating facial features, and I think it was a "fallen angel" who's body was purple but the face was normal.  I checked things like the minotaur camp and anvil chapel to see if any of those things had problems but everything else looks fine, so who knows what I did wrong, but this is the only thing I've installed or updated recently so I can't think of where else it could have come from.

 

On something unrelated to texture problems, I've noticed actors like bandits or dremora will turn around and attack captives, sometimes on their own but mostly only when something else aggros them.  This is something I experienced before I updated, does anyone else get that happening to them?  It may have been caused by Vanilla Combat Enhanced as that's the only mod I've used that I could have thought might affect that, but I thought I removed all of it, so now I'm at a loss.

Oh here's an additional little puzzler for you, swimming has also gotten weird.  As soon as the water gets deep enough to start swimming, my camera locks at a slightly upward angle, I can look side to side but vertical doesn't change.  If I want to dive, I have to swim backwards.  I tried in both first and third person, as well as changing the perspectives while in water.  Didn't seem to help.  If none of this is making any sense and all these things have nothing to do with monster girl, I might need to do a clean install.  Maybe it's simply time.

Ah, I got the swimming direction lock too. It resolved itself though soon enough.

As to those textures... well, good luck I guess.

Ummm...hrm...

 

My only thought is that you somehow installed all of the new files, but are still using an old esp. I can't fathom anything else causing those visual issues...

 

And, I'm not sure about the swimming bit. There's no swimming animations modified by the mod, or scripts that affect swimming.

Guess it's time to just experiment with stuff at random until something works.  If I figure out what was doing all that before getting frustrated and just wiping it all and starting again, I'll let you know.

Again, same as sword saint: initiating dialogue with 'Elder Sentinel' crashes the game after the initial greeting.

 

Additionally, regarding the weird khajit claw fix, Goebs managed to find a mod that ~fixes it, https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/34385.

I'd post just the 'claw files' (?) if I could, but I have no idea how to unpack omod with obmm, and as a whole, this omod (I get that impression) messes up khajit normals (like, they look like they have lizard, fur colored skin).

Feeling kinda weird posting this while it was Goebs that found the mod that mitigated the problem, but oh well. Pro publico bono.

I'm immensely perplexed about the nails thing, tbh. There's nothing in my mod that should be affecting any vanilla races. .___. So bizarre.

 

Hrm...lemme check the Ayleid dialogues, though. Which greeting did you get from them? There's four. One about being the Hero of Kvatch, one about the Ayleid, another about vermin in their homes, and the last is just "Must we speak...?"

Unpack OMod.

Put the OMod in your OMod folder.

Start OblivionModmanager or TES Modmanager.

Right click the OMod and select "Extract to folder"

Select a empty folder

Wait ...

( Then you can close the Modmanger and if you don't need the OMod delete it )

Open the folder, copy the files you need in your game folder. (I think it was just a missing texture)

And the wrong Khajiit foot texture is a Oblivion.esm bug !

Don't know how people play some weeks or month the game and after they have installed Monstergirls  they notice that the khajiit foot texture is wrong. :classic_wacko:

It's "must we speak?" one. After they finish "saying" it, the game Just Works into windows.

That's immensely peculiar. That dialog has no branches, adds no additional topics, and has no script attached to it. It's just...totally generic. Hrm...

Sinister Poet, I'm gonna upload a patch later today that I think might address your CTD in that Fort. That dungeon is apparently only filled with Leveled Creatures in the vanilla game, and I noticed the Fairy creature was missing the _n map for its eyes...that can cause CTD under certain circumstances. The .esp did some vague tweaks that I hope will stop that one thing with the Ayleid NPC. I hope.

Hey I'm chiming in again, I decided the best way to make sure everything was installed right was to just reinstall the whole mod.  Good news is, I no longer have the texture issues on bodies, I ran Vilverin again and found the same corpses, all now had their proper body textures, and what's more I'm not getting the weird swimming problem.  So whatever was causing those issues was easily attributed to improper installation.  I think what happened was when I was updating I somehow failed to include the core package, exactly as you predicted, because I started with that one and it fixed all those issues.

 

The only things I'm still getting grief from are the hair textures and captives being attacked by others while they're still restrained.  I think both of these are issues stemming from something else at this point, I'll see about just replacing my textures from the hairs, logically that should do exactly what I need it to.  No clue what might do the job for the captives being attacked, especially since I can remember a time that I didn't have that problem, but can't recall any particular point where it changed so narrowing down what might have caused it will be difficult.

Hello there.

First i wanted to say i really love your mod and having seen the new update, decide to give it a new try.

 

everything run just until the moment where I run into a the bug of Googly eye for some of the monster/character in the mod like some prisoner of necromancer and some other creature. I havetry some of the old patch you made like the one for the imperial eye but it fuck up  the eye of everyone that was not a part of the mod (and strangely enough, make the eye of the monster girl character work proprely).

i just look into the file and there is not such thing has RightEye.nif.

 

Edit : thing that is very strange because i don't have any problem at all with eye in the game, apart from the one of some Character with the mod.
i just try to look with steam if there was some missing file but nope, the thing missing was not that.
