I have this issue where i cant point out the slave to the prison guard, i just talk to the slave like normal... and i cant seem to tell my slaves to stay in my breezehome cel i bought from "perdo"?

Which prison guard?  Is this one of the Restless Hunter guards?  Or is it one of the mine guards?  If it's a Restless Hunter guard, then what you do is put one of the slave medallions, one can buy from Pardo, onto the slave.  Then talk to Pardo.  I forget the line to use.  I also forget what the dialogue is for mine guard.  I played that portion twice and then turned it off.

For the other issue, the breezehome cell and others you can buy from Pardo, are cosmetic only.  You'll want a "house cell token" for keeping Home Sweet Home slaves at home.

I legit love Home Sweet Home even if it is literally broken in some respects (I had to install a patch somebody made to fix the npc you need to enslave as the final stage of the work woth the slavers quest) I do wonder however if the functionality works with Diary Of Mine.

So this is interesting.

I decided to finally do the 'good' path where you start the quest by becoming a thane. I became a thane of Falkreath and have sold way more than the usual three slaves to the Karthwasten mine but the quest Dispensing Justice has not started yet (i.e. Merian has still not attacked me) so in desperation I went looking at the other two mines that you can normally sell slaves to. (Dawnstar and the other place in the mountains) Neither of those other slave places have guards to sell slaves to. I am using Diary of Mine for the first time but I think it more likely that this part of the mod is just bugged as probably nobody bothered to try starting home sweet home by becoming thane of Falkreath?

Eventually I had to set it to stage 60 of quest PAHOStart to make progress.

I then decided to try out the ending where you abolish slavery and it's so weird because Mona just disappears because she's free and has no AI package (at least if she does I don't know where she went) but there is no requirement to free Merian so the happy slavery is over ending feels half finished. (for  understandable reasons since I think nobody commented on this) It could really do with either making it so Merian has to be freed but Merian and Mona are found idling in solitude later say and are willing to be your followers. Or have it be that Mona gets caught stealing by whichever Jarl you started working for and the Jarl 'discharges Mona into your custody to serve out her sentence' (i.e. you get her as a slave at the end anyway) with a final exasperated. "You know what I trust you, if you want to keep troublemakers out of harms way I'll look the other way, talk to my steward to find the things we confiscated from those slavers, you might need them."

anyone know how to fix  it so that it stops delteing the smp object that some mods like 3ba/bhunp use to apply smp to bodies?

Ha Ha I may suggest that Anuketh makes a new NPC called Musje , if you have not heard of her, look up Anuketh, makes possibly the best Companions for Skyrim, that just happen to make good slave-stock also.

I am sure this has been asked but I cannot find it. 

 

 I can't get Home sweet home to detect MME or its patch I have re-run the installer more than a few times, I have tried changing the order and done clean installs of both MME and HSH. I have changed the order a few times (it says the order does not matter but I figured I should try anyway.) anybody know of a method to get it to notice the patch or no?

A search of my game drive shows the only HSH has this script.  Anyone else getting this warning?  Should I worry?  The short fix is loading HSH before SKYUI but that's not the "normal" load order and I'd have to move other mods with it.

 

I suspect that HSH is causing some CTDs as I didn't have ANY to Level 9 before entering the Restless Hunter in this play thru.  Could be other issues in a rather heavy mod load too.

I'm having two major issues with the LE

 

1. The summon and remove torture device spells you're supposed to get for setting up your first permanent camp did not spawn on me, I had to get them via console.

 

2. The spells work, but when I try and get my slaves tied to any of the furniture, they just stand there and do nothing.

 

I've been banging my head against the wall hoping to figure something out I've ran and re-ran FNIS a billion times, installed all the optional content including ones I'm probably not gonna use, triple checked that I got the required mods. I'm getting nothing here

 

Ideally, it'd all be compatible with the Hearthfire Dungeon Addon, but I'd settle for having to place everything myself if it'd work.

 

After reading a bit through this thread, the mod seems a bit busted up. Are there any solutions I should check for or am I just SOL?

You turn in one slave and then the guard will give you a new quest to turn in 3 more.  So a total of 4.  Each mine can only accept 2 slaves at a time, so if you have more you'll need to go to a different mine.

 

After that, either wander around in world for a couple days (do other quests or just wander around, fight a dragon, doesn't matter) OR go sleep at an inn.  You should get ambushed / attacked by Merian.  Fight her, and either defeat her and let her go or defeat her and enslave her... your choice.  Then talk to her.

 

After some dialog you'll get some more options, if you're going the slaver route, you'll head to Stone Hills and search for a journal.  Find it, steal it, read it and the quest will update again.  No go find Mona and rescue or enslave her.

 

After that, depending on your choices you'll have some new options.

I'm still running LE and no I've never had the problem.

 

In my LE games they assign other slaves to train the new slaves, they use wall markers for training, I can place furniture with the spell and they use that.  For some reason the HF Dungeon furniture had gotten finicky of late and I don't know why, some of it they use, some they don't.

 

The only issue I ever have is sometimes the Taskmistress or another slave (sometimes several) are assigned to follow me and try to follow me outside and while that usually just results in them getting teleported back inside, sometimes it results in a CTD (rare, but it has happened).

 

Its also worth noting I'm not running DoM (I can't seem to get any version of it to work properly in LE for quite awhile, I had one version that did and I liked it but since then... meh).  I'm also running a pretty script light game right now.

 

One other thing I'll note, after first assigning a slave as a Taskmistress, I leave the area and then come back.  I find that if I stay in cell it doesn't always update and have the slave doing their job.  Leaving seems to force it to update.

Anybody else finding that they seem to be stuck doing through on the quest to capture slaves to sell to the mines I had it before and assumed it was just the one borked quest but even speaking to pardo to start the quest I have the same issue. I'm using DOM and SE if that matters.

The only thing I can think would cause it would be changes Bethesda made when they came out with AE.

 

For me in LE, it doesn't even take passage of time.  Just changing cells is enough to make sure everything is running.  For example, I have in my current game a house cell set up in Heljarchen Hall.  I have a number of slaves there who are full time residents and trainers.  One is both Taskmistress and also set to entertain my guests.  Two of the other resident trained slaves are set to entertain guests.  I have the housecarl Gregor living there, Belrand (from the Winking Skeever) is Steward, and the bard is there as well.  Just walking out the front door, turning around and going back in (cell change) was enough to make sure everything started up after I assigned a slave as Taskmistress.

 

When I visit, the slaves set to entertain automatically take care of the NPCs, dancing for them and so forth.  I just delivered three captured bandits and as soon as I told them they would be staying there awhile one of the resident trained slaves came over and fetched them and took them to the "cell" area in the back of the house (I built the storeroom in the back and left it empty as barracks for slaves and then used console to drop a bunch of bedrolls).  Once the trained slaves had taken them to the cell they came back to me and I told them to go make themselves useful.  Shortly after that the Taskmistress already had all three new slaves assigned to trainers and training began.  The trainers were using placed wall markers and furniture to train the slaves (both placed with HSH).

 

So in LE at least, its all working pretty much as intended.  So the problem seems to be just on the SE/AE end and the only thing I can think of that has change was whatever AE changed when it came out... but that's just a guess.

The long wait for Merian : in this playthrough I 1st started by making the quest line optional, but things went wrong, I tried to sell a slave, put the auction amulet on her, then told her she was going to stay there for a while in the tavern, but then when she was supposed to be sold she was not selected, and Pedro had no topic to get another amulet. No matter what I did, she never seemed to be selected. So well I gave up and decided to go back some saves to finally do the quest line, less bugs...

In the quest line I knew Merian was supposed to attack me during "dispensing justice". Well with all the bandit camps in the area I got my 3 bandits to deliver quite quickly, went to a new mine, gave 2 there. Then I had 1 left, but I still hadn't seen Merian, so I decided to try the long road to give her some time to show up, I want to winterhold, and did some quests there. 1 day later, still no Merian. I finally decided to do a "save test 1" in the console to look for her id to know at least where she was : she was actually disabled ! When enabling her near me she attacks, but she has no specific dialog !

Oh well I don't know what this playthrough has, but it seems there are really too many bugs this time !

I have a problem, i created a camp in a pretty big open location (GomaPeroLand - forgotten temple) and after placing all the markers i've noticed that my slaves always hang around the cage! I've also noticed that after using "hide markers" option they are still showing up! Is there a limit on how far from the cage markers can still be placed and be valid/functional?

Can somone help?

Hi.  How come I train my slaves and can check to see their worth, but when I go to the slaver to sell my slave, they only offer something like 8 gold?  How do I get a decent price?

 

Also, not sure if it's this mod that gives Devious Devices for capturing people, but sometimes I can craft them and sometimes they just don't show up.

 

Also, I read that there is a taskmistress that can train your slaves?!?!?  I've talked to everyone at Fellglow, but there only seem to be guards, slaves, and the slaver.
