Golgo13 Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 I got into a mod in which my 'toon got pregnant. According to the information in Data' date=' the body should be at P3; but, my 'toon's body didn't change, at all. I received a message about the breasts not being milked, and I saw that I could turn the "huge tits" on in apparel; but, there was no pregnant body option in Data I could select, at all. I tried reactivating the pregnant body models, in case that might help; it didn't. I don't know what I can do to get the bodies to display properly. I just don't.[/quote'] The Breasts need milking is part of Breeder. The rest I'l poke around with a bit more, should have an update in next few days. Is it typical for this mod to create lagging? It usually only happens for me in populated areas like casinos' date=' but I does happen elsewhere on occasion. It's not framerate drop, but instead a pulsing lag that creates a stutter every second or two. If I exit the game and come back, it goes away, but quickly comes back in populated areas. I seem to recall reading that this mod caused that by the constant script checking to see who's pregnant and who isn't. My suspicion was generally confirmed when my male character's game only started seeing the stutter once he knocked up his companion, at which point I started noticing slight stutters in sparsely populated areas. I have a really strong, brand new system, and the only mods I really run are Sexout plugins and Project Nevada, so this issue has nothing to do with my system. I can be getting a clean 60 FPS when this stutter occurs, so it's not the system straining to handle performance, it's something else... And this only started once I installed this mod among some other minor plugins (ones that aren't always running like this). Any ideas?[/quote'] Short Answer is yes it's been known to cause lagging. Long Answer is it's a script heavy mod that pushes the crappy engines resources near the limits and to make it function it needs some pretty resources hungry work arounds. I've stopped adding to it, till I can trim some more fat from it, theres a lot more potential unused but I don't think the engine can handle it. Hi, again... I knew that the huge tits thing was part of breeder. I just included the detail to suggest that something was detecting that this 'toon was supposed to be pregnant and producing a result. The only thing that wasn't picking it up was the basic mod. I guessed that there might be a problem with the basic clothing mod, so I reactivated it; but, that didn't help.
Seiji-Chan Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Nope, no "adult" in the title. Looks like I got a weird child-adult hybrid (a teen? lol). This kid is still called "HispanicOffspring" and has a child body and face, but an adult voice. I also got the maturation message telling me that the child matured, but her face stayed the same, etc. And using the kill command does nothing to her. She's definitely considered a kid. I just used the setscale command to keep her at a non-ridiculous size. Her voice doesn't really match her body, but oh well. I also noticed that kids don't fast travel with you? That could be a bit... troublesome.
jaam Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 I was under the impression setactorfullname didn't make the transition from Oblivion to FO3' date=' hence the need for the FOSE setname command. [/quote'] Both SetActorFullName and SetName are present in FNV/NVSE The complete function list should show in nvse.log

I'm still learning as I go so some of these I just won't get to for a while, I'm a bit tied up with RL stuff for a few weeks to get much done.
Halstrom Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012 New Update 20121123.1beta: Limited testing, file in second post of OP Adjusted Pregnancy sizing to be larger for wolves & other multiple offspring hopefully Probably some other minor fixes from a few weeks back I can't remember
Seiji-Chan Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 To save you some trouble, I dug around in SCR in GECK. Only the Caucasian and Asian "adult" offspring NPCs are actually adults. Hispanic, African American, etc all are just duplicates of their child versions, lol. I would imagine that's the problem.
seyal Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 maybe, i'm blind, but i cant seem to find the 1123.1 update link
Halstrom Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012 maybe' date=' i'm blind, but i cant seem to find the 1123.1 update link[/quote']Sorry, it's in the second post of the OP of this thread.

Seiji-Chan Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Hopefully my next kid gets the mother's race! That happens sometimes right? In the meantime I just successfully renamed and edited the face of my Hispanic daughter. She will forever be a child with an adult voice who just hangs out in the Lucky 38, but oh well. Is it just me or are the faces of some of the kids and adults really strange? The Hispanic child nose was epically weird, and the adult female Caucasian and Asian faces are really odd.

I forgot to change the voices, will do that now for next update. The default chance of the children being same race as Mum is 60%, Male/Female is adjusatable in MCM. The children should grow to 80% then change models to adults then gro to 90-110% normal size. They also should advance in skill levels for Mell, Unarmed & Guns.
Seiji-Chan Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 I was aware of the male/female setting in MCM. Good to know the race rate though, thanks. Not sure what you mean about the modeling though. The odd child face is probably not your fault. Odds are the vanilla child faces are just as weird. To be honest, a lot of Fallout faces are weird. Makes me want to do my own "redesigned" project since I already slightly edit the faces of my followers (Sunny's pointy chin could take an eye out!). I just noticed the female adult Caucasian face had HUGE cheeks and the Asian had very weird cartoony features. I don't think the voices are messed up though, most of the offspring adult races just have a child model. Their voice should be adult and it is, it's just the model that stays a child (hence the child with the adult voice).

Being partially blind I can't see the faces very well in the tiny GECK window to check them myself.

Naria Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Im not sure what i did wrong, but the prego its self works perfectly fine, but when my stomach gets to a certain size and it takes my clothe off, and my body goes invisable and all i see is hands and feet. Edit: Got it working, i must of missed one of the clothe packs.
thecardboardman Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Just updated to the 1123.1 beta and the latest SCR after being away for a while. I ran a clean save twin human pregnancy at 5% speed and my character only got to P3 size and gave birth when the pregnancy was at 83%. A single human pregnancy got to 90% before birth. This is an issue I ran into in the last version of the mod as well.
Hunter08j9 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Im not sure if this has been posted before but whenever i have sex i cant see or find any sperm tokens. am i missing a mod ? Thanks in advance
Seiji-Chan Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 I'll be sure to (backup first and then) update when I get the chance. I'll make sure to deactivate my own esp for altering my offspring (name and face) before doing so. Updating should simply fix the offspring already birthed and matured in my game, right?
Anonymous Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Have you ever thought about making kids health level-dependent or at least giving them more than 15? Also in the news... Can you, please, prevent offsprings from disappearing immediately after death, so I can loot their equipment?
Halstrom Posted December 1, 2012 Author Posted December 1, 2012 Have you ever thought about making kids health level-dependent or at least giving them more than 15? Also in the news... Can you' date=' please, prevent offsprings from disappearing immediately after death, so I can loot their equipment?[/quote'] Kids are pretty fragile critters, I don't belive they should be 10x tougher at birth just because mom is a battle seasoned merc I\ll look into linking their max health with their age to make them a little more resilient. I'll also look into putting a delete timer in for them when dead.
Guest user29 Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Instead of adding a script to each of them that could bog down the game, I would just have a script once a day disable/markfordelete dead offspring.
Anonymous Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Oh, forgot to mention before. I had a Ca- caz-, you know, flying-bugkid and it was nice and helpful creature, but when human offsprings popped out and grew up, they were like "Oh maaaah gaaaaaaaaaaawd. It's a trader with mercs. Kill 'em all!". Two seconds later everyone, but me, trader, brahmin and merc, was dead. In other words: Why would my human kids and mercs attack each other? There was no problem with them in cities, though there were no travelling merchants then. And thanks for looking into previous stuff.
lordtyler Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 hey not sure if you have made any changes yet but, was curious if you did anything with the birthing animation.. or more specifically, if there is one. I know currently the character just sorta stands there, hops once, and you get the water breaking splash.. and that's about it. Maybe use an already existing animation? The ones that were used in the fallout 3 animated prostitution tied to the egg vibrator's you could buy in rivet city would both work pretty good. Though I know the guy that did that mod retired, right? Not sure if he would allow use of the anim's or not.. Sorry to keep buggin you about this. Just love the mod but it bugs me that the crescendo of the mod, the actual childbirth, is kind of non existent.
