Mashi Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 It's very odd. I've had it happen a couple of times, sometimes a reload will fix it. Sometimes not. Though if you manage to get the rest/wait dialog up and wait an hour the looping pregnancy script seems to fix itself.

I constantly just get "You feel a slight bulge, you might be pregnant" every so often, and my character is 70-80% through the pregnancy (10% pregnancy time). I also notice that even if I set the nude pregnancy bodies to "keep on during sex", rape usually removes it anyways.
OLOsin Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Have not encountered the looping message problem since updating to the latest SCR AND Pregnancy releases. I have encountered a small issue with time remaining in pregnancy. The pregnancy monitor says one thing, but it seems that my PC goes into labor before that time. I'm trying to find out if there is a consistency to the difference between the pregnancy monitor time and actual time of birth.

Now reinstalling Everything and got Laser eye treatment this arvo which will limit me from a computer for a day or 2

I'd had been having trouble with the latest version of Pregnancy showing up in MCM for quite a while, and I'd given up trying for a while. I eventually decided that, since someone had gotten it to work, and other files had been updated since then, and since this computer sometimes just does whatever it wants for no damned reason, at all, I might as well try it, again. It finally showed up when I installed it, to my relief. I was using the diaphragm, since I was in one of those scenarios where a lot of NPC's have sex with your 'toon. I soon had a message about, "you feel a slight bulge." I was familiar enough with the different bodies to recognize that there was no "slight bulge." I assumed that this was one of those times when something crazy happened, and it was time for a clean install. After I did that, I, again, started receiving the pregnancy messages, from beginning to "here's your baby," with no sign of a pregnancy. The body never changed, the scanner (which, I'm told, no longer works) indicated nothing, and there was no indication in the inventory items that there was any pregnancy happening, or any baby. I guessed that there must just be a bug involving the messages. Some time later, however, a little girl just appeared and started following my toon around. Alll..riiight.... So, I've got a little girl following me around. No big deal... there are worse things in the world. Still, how she got there was awfully strange, though. Time for a new, clean install. What was even stranger was how her identical little sister showed up, later, under the same circumstances; but, this time, without even the pregnancy messages to tip me off that anything was happening. Did the 'toon get pregnant without any signs? Was there ever even a pregnancy? I have no clue. I was told that this was a bug to report. I was also told to include the load order. Hopefully it'll come good with an update at some stage, I've still got a lot of work to do on the Pregnancy & Birth scripting. I run Mod Cdonfig menu atr the top of Load order too, seems to work ok there for me.
Anonymous Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Can anyone point me to the file/download link where baby models are stored, because when I try to "wear" them that big exclamation mark pops out yelling, "YOU DON'T HAVE NEEDED MODEL, SO I'LL BLOCK YOUR WHOLE SCREEN! MUAHAHAHA *cough cough*"? O/C I've downloaded all required files (or so readme says), so perhaps 7zip/Tugzip screwed up something. NVM. I've found out it uses some kind of Lara Croft's backpack.
Bashis Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 sunny smiles is in the medical scanner for pregnancy so im going on the assumption shes fertile, but she doesnt have the fertility or cycle tokens in her inventory like my pc, veronica and willow. ive tried switching fertility to all females and having her have sex (as it said the fertility script would start if they did) but she's still not. is there a way to force the script?

It usually only happens for me in populated areas like casinos, but I does happen elsewhere on occasion. It's not framerate drop, but instead a pulsing lag that creates a stutter every second or two. If I exit the game and come back, it goes away, but quickly comes back in populated areas. I seem to recall reading that this mod caused that by the constant script checking to see who's pregnant and who isn't. My suspicion was generally confirmed when my male character's game only started seeing the stutter once he knocked up his companion, at which point I started noticing slight stutters in sparsely populated areas. I have a really strong, brand new system, and the only mods I really run are Sexout plugins and Project Nevada, so this issue has nothing to do with my system. I can be getting a clean 60 FPS when this stutter occurs, so it's not the system straining to handle performance, it's something else... And this only started once I installed this mod among some other minor plugins (ones that aren't always running like this). Any ideas?

I received a message about the breasts not being milked, and I saw that I could turn the "huge tits" on in apparel; but, there was no pregnant body option in Data I could select, at all. I tried reactivating the pregnant body models, in case that might help; it didn't. I don't know what I can do to get the bodies to display properly. I just don't.

Long Answer is it's a script heavy mod that pushes the crappy engines resources near the limits and to make it function it needs some pretty resources hungry work arounds. I've stopped adding to it, till I can trim some more fat from it, theres a lot more potential unused but I don't think the engine can handle it.

Another question, I had a kid who grew up, but when they mature they just turned into a full size child body with a giant child head. They have an adult voice, but they're still a child as far as looks go. I also can't recruit her via CSR because from what I can tell the game is still recognizing her as a child. I've also tried shooting her to check if she's still a kid, and she doesn't take damage so it's confirmed. Is that how it works or is something wrong? Or does it take more time for her to turn from a child to.. a mature child who's adult size with a child body and giant child head.. to an adult model? And is there any way to change the name from "HispanicOffspring"? I'd do it in the GECK, but where can I find the data for a newly birthed NPC?
zippy57 Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 There's no real way to change the name of the children because due to the way the game deals with NPCs they simply can't be named individually. There are eight base child NPCs, one for each gender for each race. You could theoretically change their name still, just open SCR in the GECK to the NPC tab and put "Sexout" in the search filter. It'll just apply to all children of that race and gender.

And no idea on the strange maturation I'm seeing? It's really dumb how FO3's console let's you change NPC names and FNV's doesn't. I'm surprised no one has ever made a workaround for that..
zippy57 Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 If you're referring to the setname command, that was a FOSE command and only worked during the current game session. When the FOSE team made NVSE, they probably didn't carry it over because it wasn't really all that useful due to not persisting. And it would still have the same limitations in FNV, as placed versions of an object don't have their own names; they all pull from the base name, which is what setname changes. As to your other questions, I haven't the slightest idea. Not my department.

I found a topic awhile back about someone asking how to change NPC names in FNV, someone answered telling them to use that, then corrected themselves when they remembered it only worked in FO3. Then I read a guide somewhere else explaining how to use the setactorfullname command in FO3, but noting that for some reason the command didn't exist in FNV. I'll have to try it myself, but everything I've read lends to the idea that it does indeed work in FO3.

[/quote'] Not sure about the giant head business, what race & gender child was it, I'll check the model, thought there's some weird crap that goes on on some races textures for whatever reason they raise errors in GECK when opened. The other possibility is I amn making childeren grow too large, or did they definately mature (they have "(adult)" in their title?). I tried making them killable as children by making them as adults (child box unticked) with child body models, obviously it didn't work. Hopefully have some sort of update tommorrow with some minor fixes.
