I'm using both DLSkyrim 1.4 and PNDDPR 2.3.1. Everything works perfectly except that whenenver the PC equips a diaper, it gets not only removed but also deleted from the inventory after a few seconds.

 

I think it might have something to do with Shlongs of Skyrim, because the diaper flashes to a SoS brief before being vaporized. I think the engine can't quite resolve whether I'm wearing a diaper, a brief, or nothing at all.

 

Any suggestions?

 

Wow, no clue Catthedragon.  My mod is just an accessory, a diaper over a hole in SOS  .  Maybe you could go for a workaround: there are a couple of SOS varieties, so you could try the lite version, or, if you are, vice versa.  Also, try it with PND on and off and the same with DLSkyrim so that you can eliminate possibilities.  

 

 

 

 

Just recently started playing Skyrim again! Maybe this time i'll actually complete the main story rather than getting sidetracked by my own personal quests. . . Mind you i enjoyed stealing the clothing off of every NPC in Whiterun quite a lot in my vanilla run! One of my other DL friends turned me on to your mod and after finally getting it to work (I was using the CBBE version and not the UNP version because 3am Drifter is not to be trusted with installing mods!), i quickly fell in love. 

 

That being said, what armor and clothing mods do you all suggest I use with DLSkyrim? (I have PNDDPR installed but disabled atm as i'm not that into messing and such. (I'm much more of a DL than an AB, but have been known to moonlight when the mood strikes me!) I'm thinking about diapering all of the ladies of Skyrim, but don't want to leave them all topless in the cold so any good clothing or armor sets that show off their padding will be fantastic!

 

I'm also interested in any other interesting companion mods that mesh well with DLSkyrim that add to my diapered adventures! 

I rather like "a little sexy apparel replacer". Totally not lore friendly, but it shows off the diapers pretty well I think.

Starting to think i need to learn to do this stuff myself, but i have never even touched a modeling program. Could try my hand at quests, though. Think i may just download the creation kit and see what i can figure out.

 

 

What you describe was me in mid 2015 Drifterwolf.  Everything yields to time, determination, and endless online tutorials.  A diaper themed quest, storyline, character, etc, would be awesome!

I'm in love with Substance Painter: this was a good refresher for me, since it's been a few months.  The challenge will be getting it to look like anything in Skyrim (and the top layer of the skirt will be translucent with the same color of satin below).

Love that one too, MikeWander.  I was inspired to make what I'm making now after I was playing with making that mod all satin-y and colorful last year.  I looked through Backsteppo's mod (original author for FO3) to figure out how to do the ruffles.

Well I found the problem. It turns out the issue was being caused by an improper XPMSE installation that was trying to install itself every 5 seconds and failing every time.

 

But now I can't equip armor and diapers at the same time. One replaces the other even though the diaper is supposed to be in the underwear slot. I'm sure this must be a much more common problem. Any help?

It is.  It only conflicts with armor that has a Slot 52 designation, which a surprisingly large amount do.  I would just explore around and find something that doesn't.

Whatever you can wear all take up different slots, yeah, and the variety is large between modded armors.  Everyone has to choose what their armor is associated with with regard to the body.  I chose pelvis.  Lots of other armors picked pelvis too along with the typical torsos.  So look for something skirted or focused on the upper body.  I don't see this as a problem with this or any other mod.  It's just how the game works.  For what it's worth, most armors which conflict with the diapers would totally clip (or be impossible irl lol).  You can also use the creation kit to get what you want if you see a combination that won't just work.

Have to vent my frustration:

 

Making an ok armor mesh in Blender: A few hours, and another hour to UV map it.

Texturing it with Substance Painter: A very pleasant 2-3 hours.

Getting it to export to .nif in a workable setup: Fail, lose two days of troubleshooting.

Trying out a different set of niftools: Fail, lose two days of troubleshooting.

Relearn nifskope: 1 day.

Learn that you basically need Outfit Studio to communicate between Blender and Niftools unless you want to learn an ancient (2009) version of Blender, in 2017: 1 day.

Doing weight painting in Outfit Studio instead of full 3d programs and testing, piece by piece: I'll let you know lol.

 

There are so many moving parts.  Modding Skyrim is like playing a shell game, only there are thousands of cups and there might not be a ball anyway.

Progress, at last!  I'm thinking that I'll make a set of 2-3 of this sort of frilly dress and upload them as the "Sissy Suite."  They probably won't all be this short, but they'll be at least this girly, and I got them to work with HDT (though not the 'flyaway' version).  The one here will also come in more basic shades of pink, purple, and a few other pastels to go with the diapers.  These have transparencies in the lace, which means that they're bigger.  I probably won't make like 13 textures of each this time, lest the download become huge.

 

So, speaking of "sissies," if anyone requests, I'll try to make them for guys (which may not work, lol).  Also, if you have a color or pattern you'd like to see, now's the time.

I have, though not both at once.

 

As for how they compare: personally due to PND diaper's reliance on the outdated PND, the assets from PND are a bit worse (the pee and poop models are both taken from the ZaZ animation pack, but PND just took the relevant parts so the entire pack would not be needed.)  PaF has a lot more usefull features such as compatibility with iNeed, the ability to turn off either bowels or bladder (for those of us that really only want one of the two), and better animation selection. Personally every one of the 4 times I have installed PND diapers 2.3.1 on a fresh skyrim installation (I have a lot of hardware trouble), it always takes manually starting the quests, sleeping, leaving the cell, and manually using that outhouse, usually in some combination, to get the latest versions working. 1.4 always had flashing or disappearing diapers or what not.

 

As for features basically iNeed compatibility, ability to turn off either bladder or bowels (not all of us are into messing, while some of us are only into messing for example), follower support, the place-able toilets are nice, but I would rank the variety of selectable animations as a much lower priority.

 

If you are hesitant to try it, just look at the requirements once again, SkyUI is used by your mod already for the MCM, SKSE and the toilet resource as well, basically you already require half the requirements, only sexlab and zaz and slave tats differ, and slave tats is mostly just for if your character doesn't wipe.

If I'm in the mood to have fun, role-play, or actually play the game, I use yours. If I'm in the mood to fap, then I use PaF. Take of that what you will.

 

I'm not using the most recent version of yours, never got it working, but a nice feature your's has over PaF is the ability to wear diapers under clothing. If I remember right, when I was messing around with the most recent, I could enter the outhouse without removing my diaper which I really like and I'm not sure if you can do with Paf. On the other hand, Paf has desperation animations.

Actually started cutting my teeth by making a merchant that stands beside the street vendor stalls in Whiterun who sells a handfull of random diapers in each style and a random assortment of the parts needed to craft them.
Was having a bit of a rough time finding linen cloth and rolls of paper so I just added those to her list of trade goods.
I named her Abby Dellia (though I have toyed with the idea of using that name for another NPC when I get the hang of making custom quests. Especially, if I can find a way to get a quest to change an NPC's default outfit.
I did figure out how to add diapers to each NPC's default outfit so that they all wear diapers from the get go, but i think it could be fun to be tasked with convincing people to start wearing either via persuasion, maybe pickpocketing, maybe even sillier means (steal all of a person's undies and replace them with a stack of diapers or craft an incontinence option via alchemy, stuff like that.) Mind you that all depends on if the game lets me do it. I am still very much a newbie modded, even if I do learn very quickly!

Thanks again for tipping me off to a sexy little armor replacer, Nerfbrony! Those armors are perfect! Once I loaded it up I went into the creation kit and made all of the town guards female and then picked out a colored diaper to match each hold!

Sadly, I am writing this from my phone as I am having a bit of a fight with my ISP at the moment, but I look forward to being back online soon and sharing a bunch of pictures from my endeavors!

In the meantime I think I may add other diaper vendors to the other cities, but I'm drawing a bit of a blank on names for them.
Was thinking maybe a Dia Purebottom, Inka Tenant. Anyone have any other ideas? Was kinda thinking about keeping the theme of pun names going, unless you all find that more annoying than funny!

I would LOVE that merchant.  The names are funny and cute too.  Inka Tenant....haha. Seeing the diapers show up in game would be amazing on occasional random NPCs, though the armor conflicts might be pretty evident a lot of the time.  I'm okay with that...

So far I haven't had too many conflicts,but then again I did go into LSAR's configuration file and manually turning off skirts and panties that tended to conflict with slot 52 or hide the diapers entirely.

However, I'm not running a lot of armor mods and LSAR is the only armor replacer one I'm using, so you are probably right.

I don't have anything to make the diapers stand out better on men either so I've been slowly modifying random encounter NPC's to spawn as women. The problem is that when you change their voices it often bugs out quests so i've been leaving that alone. They wind up still having male voices When you get near them in game.

It's a bit like being attacked by a mob of diapered Dr. Girlfriends. . . Which, if I have learned anything during my travels online, I am pretty sure there is a market for exactly that out there someplace! Lol!

 

My main focus now is finding good places in each city for new diaper vendor ladies! Once those dresses are done they are the perfect outfit for them to wear!

 

If you don't mind a special request for a new outfit, I'd love something in that vein that's loosely modeled after skyrim's Monk attire.

Once I get the hang of quest making I was thinking about having it all center around a new temple to an ABDL goddess. Who may wind up with Abby Dellia's name unless I can think of a better one for her.

In my head I imagined their robes would be a lot like the traditional ones except either cut off at the waist or with fluffy skirts that proudly display their 'Holy Under-Vestments'. As far as colors I imagined that they would be either white or a very pale purple with a purple sash/shawl. I usually imagine the monks wearing lavenders to match them if that helps with the color scheme.

Their amulet would be a golden pacifier on a necklace, which could be a cute accessory to some of these outfits anyway, actually!

 

Getting back to the diaper merchants, are there any other locations aside from major cities that would be good spots for one? I was thinking Riverwood, as a good portion of the early game is spent there and a lot of mods add things to that surrounding area for just that reason.

There may be other spots close to popular player houses or mod locations that could use a little padded provisioned. Let me know if you have any ideas on that!

Lol at the army of Dr Girlfriends.  Sounds like you're having fun, and that's important.  Do be careful that your mod doesn't make so many changes that it's conflicting with all kinds of random things.  Not that I'm the one to follow, but I don't even do world edits lol.

 

Feel free to make requests, though new meshes (with textures and accessories) are always a big ask. I might be able to whip something up if you get this off the ground.

 

As for locations, Falkreath might be a good one.  I always found my way there after Riverwood, and it could liven the place up.  Morthal is also a personal favorite.  The merchant would be like, "Stay dry, folks!"

Awe, I want to make the merchants have custom dialogue so bad, but I've been making them all female and sadly I am male so my voice just won't work for that!

 

Not unless you are really amused by terrible attempts at girl voice! If I was modding Fallout I could probably get away with it by making them all ghouls. . . But then we're back to Dr. Girlfriend territory!

 

So for a laugh I also tried my hand at modding Fallout 4 and was toying around with my newly found evil super power to change NPC genders. I managed to successfully create a world full of women and sorta-kinda-women turns out the game still tries to load a lot of male features on female NPCs. I've been chased across the wasteland by all manner of diapers ladies with mustaches, mutton chops, horribly disfiguring facial injuries. War is indeed hell folks!

Also, you can change your spouse's gender to whatever you like, but the game will always revert to their default original gender's face! My husband-wife does have the right voice. . . Half the time, though!

Hey guys, I'm posting a follow-up for my armor-getting-deleted bug report from a few days ago (on the previous page). As it turns out, the problem was not caused by an improper XPMSE installation, as the issue persisted after the installation had been fixed. So I ended up completely reverting to vanilla and starting over from scratch.

 

After many hours of testing, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that the problem is being caused by PNDDPR 2.3.1. I can say that because I chose to leave that mod for absolute last on my installation order, due to its obscure/indie nature and the fact that it is not a prerequisite to anything. I performed a complete and extensive test with every single mod installed except PNDDPR, and armor deletions did not occur. After installing PNDDPR on this new iteration, armor deletions began again. I then reverted my Skyrim folder to the point before PNDDPR was installed using a backup, and the armor deletions no longer occurrred.

 

nerfbrony, something in your mod is deleting any piece of armor that covers the pelvis. This includes diapers (yours and Lucia's), SoS underwear, and any piece of body armor regardless of whether or not it uses slot 52. It accompanies some sort of scan that comes online at 8am on the first Mondas. A more complete list of the criteria that I discovered through testing can be found here http://www.loverslab.com/topic/79698-a-challenging-quest-for-the-greatest-heroes-of-tamriel/ although the modlist is no longer accurate (though still relevant as the bug occurred with that as well). I will post my current modlist at the end of this post.

 

Now there's still a chance that this is a problem on my end, maybe I failed to install the mod correctly or failed to configure my settings correctly. The fact that nobody else seems to experience this problem indicates this. Info on your mod is scattered and sparse, so could you please post the following for clarity:

 

1. Any and all prerequisite mods, both explicit and implicit. Also, please be sure to specify if any specific version of a mod must be installed (yetAnotherLurker mentioned that an outdated PND is needed?)

 

2. Proper installation instructions, including but not limited to:

-Whether or not a mod manager can be used

-What directory the files should show up in (I'm presuming Data)

-Whether or not any files from PNDDPR should be left out (i.e. not transferred out of the .zip into the Data folder)

-What that business is with my game complaining about Private Needs Discreet.esp (as opposed to .esm) after installation of PNDDPR

-Installation order/overwrites

 

3. Proper in-game configuration settings (I think you or someone else mentioned needing to activate Use Timed Needs? Which MCM can I find that in?)

 

4. Any known mod incompatibilities.

Disregard any typos, LOOT doesn't like copy paste so I have to type it all by hand. Also, the game is 100% stable and functional without PNDDPR despite the huge load order.

Quick question, I'm currently compiling a list of mods for my next playthrough and i was delighted to find NerfBrony's mod that will allow me to use diapers. My question is, does this mod functionality rely on my character having the actual diaper equipment equipped at all times? I plan on wearing other clothes in this playthrough, and I've heard that the diapers have a tendency to clip through things.

I believe you can wear other stuff over NerfBrony's mod. Catch is, however, NerfBrony's mod only supports the Abri diaper, but if you're willing to dig I think someone has wet/messy textures for a Lavendar. It auto-equips the Abri diaper for you.

I'm finishing up my third and last dress for what I'm going to call the Sissy Suite, this one having a more loli/gothy feel.  I can't get it to look right and accommodate the thick diaper, but it works with the other two.  The first two dresses are so short that they work with all three.

 

While doing this, I had a huge breakthrough in my understanding of how all of this works, and I finally know how to control the ridiculous shine on the diapers and use alphas properly.  In the next few weeks, I hope to issue a version of DLSkyrim with improved textures, like translucence on the less padded areas and better shine. I also want to work on an abdl clothing companion mod to DLSkyrim: a onesie or two and some shortalls or a romper.
