At the same time, I can appreciate that more than a couple people may be interested in it, so I'm willing to tweak it if someone wants to provide a list of them for me to easily insert. If you opt to wait on me to do it, it's not going to happen anytime soon if ever. And I really don't mind someone putting the time in to come up with a decent dna line for folks who don't use the custom portraits, so they get something that at least can vaguely resemble the desired target. But once again - not important to me, so someone else would need to put in the extra time if they want me to insert it. I don't really care either. I was just trying to share a technique with you. It's in the details that make people love something.

I think Dewguru was simply saying that the little bit of time he has available is focused instead on other much loved aspects of Dark World. there is different between popularity and love. just think about trump and justing bieber, both popular and hated. i am not saying that people don't love DW. i just think if we want to keep been at the best, we need to be very careful with the details. for example, i could add dozen of special character to spawn randomly today. but i decide to fix the one i create yesterday with a chain of events to implanting it in the game. if Dewguru simply add a sexual decision to force to impregnate the target like some other mod, DW wouldn't be the best. it's all those events that make that mod so good. all those detail and all those care. people are playing not only because they get what they want but also because they want to find what they don't expect. there is nothing better than fallowing a path that both unknown and interesting.

JesusKreist Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 DWCore.1 was the Campaign starting decision on which traits to get. I said was as it is not present anymore. The choosing now happens at the start of the game in the game rules. Depending on which game rule is active ONE trait is active to be cast upon you. As a plus you get a bonus trait, which can be futa/trap right now. You can still cheat a trait via add_trait TRAITNAME but the event to choose is not gonna come back.

A mix-up is very unlikely so I guess he is indeed refering to the Schnabeltier, a fabled animal until living ones were found.

I really thought that it was something mythological in maybe the american history or something along those lines, since I'm only knowing in the norther sagas.

The next one will include at least the following: - Campaign start option for Orcs (with images). - The dna/culture work that JIBEcald01 took the time to put together. - Adulthood checks for Nekos and Orcs to assign images. - Campaign start for Elves, Kitsune, Tentacle-Kin (images aren't there as of this writing - no promises that they'll get in before release) And I don't recall if I already included Vampires or not for a campaign start. If I didn't, well then they're in the next release too. That should wrap-up my initial plans for campaign start options. After this, I'd ideally like to begin releasing at least an event related to a campaign, and a piece of the cut content that remains from my original Dark World mod per following release. With this next release, I feel like I will have finally laid out enough 'foundation' work, that it'll be time to begin adding meat to the bones of the mod.

I appreciate your sharing the technique. @ JIBEcaid01 - I appreciate your contribution and your taking the time out to perform the task. That's why I'm fine with including that aspect into the mod. Otherwise - I'm already married and I have a wife and children who love me, so I'm thankfully not needing to find it in the form of the work I post here. Now, don't get me wrong - there are definitely parts of Dark World that would simply not exist today - if I didn't appreciate some of the feedback that I've received - and as a result decided to expand my offering in recognition, and I do enjoy hearing that people appreciate the work. But at the same time, if they said they thought it sucked because of xyz or that they hated it and me, I'd shrug and continue on with my life. I know that I can't please everyone, and that what some enjoys is a personal, largely subjective choice. Details, content, big o' titties, firm asses, massive shlongs, or fairy tale princess's - I'd imagine many people have different reasons they decide to play or not play a mod. I'm making what I make, investing my time as I so choose, and I leave it to the individual to decide if they wish to play it or not themselves.

I've been using those and I haven't noticed any issues. They seem to work with DW and it's associated mods just fine.

I think you will want to change your mind on it being the last update. There's an excessive amount spelling and grammatical issues. The event boxes are misused with the larger one being used in instances with one or two sentences. The story is also rather lacking with the ruler being told a story in the past tense, but at the conclusion Merida shows up at the front gate. There are also way too many fail states that the ruler has no part in. I'd offer to help, but the localization document is beyond my capabilities. I know this because I actually tried for personal use and half the dialogue seemed to disappear.

I don't know what you have tried with the localization files, however, the thing that took me a while to realize is that my computer was trying to open it in excel which makes editing it correctly nearly impossible. It's best to open the localization file with a text editor like notepad++. After that, as long as you end your lines with ;;;;;;;;;;;;;x it should be fine.

It took me a while to learn this same thing. I didnt' catch on till reading the wiki!

So I've downloaded this, bought the DLC I was missing for the sake of the special portrait mod, and have tried things. In Ireland(Yeah, yeah, Tutorial Island and all). Now, my usual gameplan is 'ascend into Merchant Republic' and go from there. I notice the Shrine of Lilith becomes a Chapel of Lilith if you go Castle, but doesn't become anything if it becomes a City. Perhaps I'm being too quick to ask, but; Is there much interaction with Dark World and Merchant Republics?
