You can make this edit mid-playthrough.  This does not add or remove anything from the load order, which would affect all the mods after the edit point.  You'll be editing a record in an existing master/mod within your unique load order.  Good luck!

Since you're still around, I hope you don't mind if I ask an additional question. You made a note that for you USLEEP was the latest mod in your load order that made changes to the Vampire races. For me, it's the dawnguard.esm. I just wanted to be 200% sure before I do anything, would it still be alright for me to continue on with the guide normally and use "Copy as override into.." on dawnguard.esm  into a new file or should I make a preliminary step like making a copy of dawnguard.esm or something, since an alert popped up and it is a pretty important esm.

Also, since in my case it is dawnguard.esm, how exactly would the load order go? Has to be after wherever available, right

I have a small problem where YPS makes my default hair color pitch black when I enable head hair control. Is there any way to fix this?

Edited the MCM to add the ability to save and load settings

Doesn't cover Custom Hairstyles and doesn't save/load the Hair control option since that is already decided when you load up the mod.

Feel free to incorporate into the mod itself

I need some advice regarding solving a nail salon bug related to Bimbos of Skyrim mod. It started when I unticked "remove YPS nails on tonic use" while being in Bimbo form. I wanted the player to keep the nails and remove them at the salon manually. Unfortunately I had a box "force Bimbos to visit nail salon" checked in YPS. When I removed the nails in normal form (not bimbo) I still kept receiving the forced messages and unchecked the box. It didn't help. I have "Use legacy YPS nails" in Bimbo MCM and "Use this mod's nails" in YPS MCM checked. I have given up and was just walking with long nails in normal form (the only option I have at the salon is "[shas] xl stiletto"). What options do I have to regain the ability to have normal nails again? Is there an option to reset everything to default and set up again? Or maybe a console command to stop this messagebox appearing? I have checked "disable polished nails monitor" in YPS MCM but it didn't do anything.

If you want to remove them manually you shouldn't have "remove yps nails on tonic use" turned on as that will try to remove them immediately when you drink a tonic (and then try to put them back on again when the tonic wears off).

You mentioned changing this setting after becoming a Bimbo. Changing it after becoming a Bimbo does nothing. It still counts the original result from before becoming a Bimbo and doesn't register any changes after that. The option still exists in the menu because you could change it before becoming a Bimbo.

Does it mean I have no option to turn this off after becoming a bimbo even once? I would be happy if I could just make the message stop while I'm in not bimbo form, like it is intended.

It's not a situation I've generally experienced. Have you tried turning off force bimbo's to visit the nail salon in the yps mcm? That way you could have BoS require yps nails but not have yps enforce them as I suspect this message is from yps, not bos. But since you'd have bos requiring yps nails (in the Bimbos Must Wear section of the bos mcm) then you'd still need yps nails but without yps running checks and giving you reminder messages.

Give that a try and see if it works. You might still be able to have restrict bimbo nail colours turned on with force bimbos to visit the nail salon turned off. I can't remember.

I have trouble with body hair. I'm on last AE, I use last SlaveTatsSE version from here SlaveTatsSE-1.3.9. I have tried with the old 1.3.0-beta2 with same results.
I also have Nordic Warmaiden slavetats SE.

Armpit somewhat works. Nothing shows at game start but after it grows for the first time, I see the slot managed and locked by Yps in SlaveTats MCM  but must force SlaveTats reapply for it to actually show.

For pubic hair, I see nothing managed by Yps in SlaveTats.

When I shave, the cream applies well.

I can apply all tats manually with slavetats MCM.

I have plenty of slots configured in skse.ini and not much that uses it.

Any help is welcome.

You have given me a right direction, I think. I have unchecked "use legacy nails" in BoS MCM and "Use this mod's Nail meshes" in YPS MCM, then went through several transformations and I think the issue is gone. Thank you!

If you are mid-playthrough, I would copy that record into a new plugin file and position it at the end of your load order.  Or if if you have another plugin in your load order that is used for random tweaks, that's fine too.  On a fresh playthrough, the load order is less important, since you're altering an ESM with an ESP.

Does anyone run into the issue of not having the option for a haircut when speaking to any of the Beauticians? How did you fix it?

I think the only time I ever experienced an issue like that it was a load order issue. Keep YPS as near to the bottom of your load order as possible.

So in the YPSItems json, I've added piercings to be equipped when asking for piercings. Problem is they arent detected when they are equipped and instantly heal. Im using Satisfactory Piercings.
Is there a keyword that I'm missing maybe?

Satisfactory Piercings are not detected as piercings for some reason. There is a workaround, however.

Step 1: Before getting pierced turn off lock slavetats in the yps mcm.

Step 2: Get pierced with a normal piercing that you know works (not from Satisfactory Piercings).

Step 3: Get the relevant piercing box for the associated piercing slot with a starting piercing in it. Something like AddItemMenu is invaluable here.

Step 4: Unequip whatever you got put in there in the first place.

Step 5: Use the piercing box to equip a starter stud slavetat in that slot. This will add a gold starter stud slavetat to your character (make sure you turned off lock this mod's slavetats in step 1) and it will occupy the slot so that yps thinks you're wearing a piercing there.

Step 6 (optional) Get it welded shut so you don't accidentally remove it/have it removed by another mod.

Step 7: Open the Slavetats mcm and remove the slavetat. The starter stud will still be in the slot. Just not visible.

Step 8: Equip the matching item from Satisfactory Piercings.

Step 9: Repeat for any other Satisfactory Piercings that you want to wear.

Step 10: Finally, open the yps mcm and turn back on lock this mod's slavetats (for things like makeup, body hair etc).

It's a lot quicker than it sounds. Just takes a lot of space to write it all down, that's all.

I think I'll have to go into Facial Piercings SE for that. I'll try it out.

Is there a list to alter small objects or maybe blacklist them? It's incredibly infuriating how empty wine bottles count as small object somehow. I can pick that up irl without using any fingers so why do I have to fumble around every time I drink wine during combat?

I'm thinking of installing High Poly Head for my load order - does anyone have any experience with how well HPH works with YPS immersive fashion? Would I need to replace the makeup files with HPH specific make up for example?

High Poly Head works just fine with LE. SE as well. One of the alternate makeup add ons for SE someone did has different textures. Nicer eyeshadow but the lipstick is an odd design that focuses on the middle of the lips and doesn't go all the way to the corners. But out the box, YPS works just fine with High Poly Heads on LE & SE. Not sure about AE 'though.

3 issues I have with this so far:

Werewolves get heels equipped, why?!

Sexlab edition doesn't understand Futas (thoughts mostly).

Mod shouldn't show/do anything when the player has a keyword of ActorTypeCreature, especially adding items/spells to it.  It'll break a lot of things.

In order to play a character with a Werewolf, I have to disable the mod.

Ahh, unfortunately it still didn't work for me. I made a new esp file (from the ESP, ESM, ESL option) in TES5EDIT (with the vampire race having 'Playable' ticked), installed it in MO2, checked it in the plugins box on the right, but ingame NordVampireRace still doesn't show up in showracemenu and when I transform after 3 days the hair still gets messed up. I noticed that MO2 puts the new file created in TES5EDIT in Overwrites down at the bottom, but I also made a copy and installed it normally as a mod. Still doesn't work for me. Bummer.
