Let me know if further info is needed here.  I'm coming up empty in Slavetats (SE 1.3.9) with any YPS stuff (makeup, piercings, etc.). Nothing shows up automatically when I apply lipstick/eyeshadow and there are no options in the Slavetats menu. Plenty of slots to work with.  Also, fingernail colors show up but I'm not able to get extensions. I can start another manicure, but that just removes the old one and applies the new one (very possible I'm just misunderstanding how that system works). Edit to add: the color shows up in 3rd person but is always black when I see my hands in first person.  Using YPS Immersive Fashion 6.9.2 and SoundTexturePackage 241123 SE. Also using CBBE 3BA for my body if that matters.  Thanks for any info! Did you remember to update Slavetats tats? There's a button in the MCM, first page I think, for newly added tats.

Serverscrying Posted January 22 Posted January 22 (edited) I'm probably starting to look like a foot fetishist but these damn arched feet won't stop bothering me with new problems.  So there was a big seam but I've found the updated 3BA files on page 183 and they did help but there is still a seam, smaller than before but still noticeable during animations.  Before:  Spoiler  And after:   Spoiler  Is there another update further in this thread or is that just the best possible result? I've built everything using the CBBE Curvy preset if that matters.  Edit: I must have selected a different preset when I was doing this. I rebuilt all feet using said curvy preset today and it looks perfect now >_>  I do have a new question though is the last feet level dependant on heel height alone? I got to it using normal heels and had to double take whether I had slave boots equipped. Edited January 23 by Serverscrying Problem solved

Additionally, the short ones work fine but I get CTD when equipping the long ones.  And which Engine Fixes are those? Sorry if that's on the main mod page and I just missed it  It's just the normal SSE Engine Fixes mod on that main site for most mods. Follow the instructions for your particular game version exactly. I think I saw the fix in the Sha's comments. To get the longer nails you might need to get a professional manicure. It should ask for what length you want. If it doesn't something is wrong. It also won't work properly if you are wearing gloves not configured as fingerless. There's a check box in the MCM specifying if you can update nails with gloves/items on (I forget the exact wording) and you can uncheck that and see if that helps. I guess I never tried actually equipping the nails as an item so I don't know how to help with that.

Coffinmeat Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Hi all. After a fairly long adventure in the world of Skyrim I returned to Whiterun and finally got the opportunity to re-apply makeup. When I go to re-apply lipstick it tells me I cannot as my lipstick is smudged. Tried using a lipstick removal pad and the message says you cannot remove it as you aren't wearing lipstick. I can apply lip balm but lipstick nothing. am not running any other makeup mods so it's not that. Load order appears correct. Anyone run into this before? Anyone got and solutions or advice?
CG2424 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 (edited) How difficult would it be to add custom nails? Something like the ones in this mod for example (Cosplay Basics by Caenarvon). I've currently got the Shah's Nails mod, but having some others would be pretty nice.  Edit Apparently I lack reading comprehension. Edited January 29 by CG2424

jackdaniels555 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Does anyone know when the forced path of the dibella quest might be finsihed? Â
AylaElfie Posted January 30 Posted January 30 While working on interior patches, I have also been thinking of/playing around with some other tweaks that I think would help modernize this mod. Â 1. Updated models: The world models for the hairbrush, mirror, elastic hairband, razor, scissors, and barber chair all seem either quite dated or out of place within the aesthetics of the game. Some of them also have very misleading collision that causes them to fly all over the place. I would also like to introduce custom lipstick/eyeshadow/nail polish world models to decorate your houses with and increase immersion when encountering them placed in the world. I am not very knowledgeable with blender, but I have found some (open permissions) assets that I might be able to repurpose. Â 2. Updated NPCs and shop areas. I would love to beautify the existing NPCs some while also increasing their visual variety. I believe that currently they are almost entirely Nords with perhaps a couple Bretons thrown in. I would also like to add some immersive indicators of where these NPCs do their business, perhaps with a new sign model. I also think that some modded areas would really suit a new fashion vendor, such as the Divine Elegance store. Â 3. Distribution via SPID/Overlay Distribution Framework/SkyPatcher/Leveled Lists: I feel that it would significantly increase immersion to encounter more fashion out in the world: whether it's makeup/nails worn by random NPCs, or simply items looted/bartered for. I would love to hear ideas from other people and see what is on their YPS wishlist. I'm not really familiar with scripting unfortunately, but I definitely want to show this mod some love! Â 1

Haha, join the club. There still doesn't seem to be a definite fix. The only guaranteed "fix" is to go back to a save where it wasn't smudged.
GuruSR Posted January 31 Posted January 31 (edited) Few things: Skyrim LE  Player (current save) is a Bimbo, picked the hair style, it got longer and 30 seconds later went to a vanilla hair style "waist length", which it is neck length. Can't change the hair style, not sure what I have locked to cause that, guess it is locked due to the Bimbo curse. I have the Apache Hairs (2014), Merida Hairs, KSHairs + HDT. Had to steal the Hairstyle book (thankfully nobody complained). I can see previews but can't save. I don't see any piercings on the body (Bimbo, compatible?) and I also don't see any makeup, I do have Slave Tats doing the stuff to the Bimbo, possibly a nioverride.ini issue? Toenail polish doesn't show up. I also tried the main quest and hit the roadblock where it ended. I'll see if I can get somewhere with the hair, because I didn't like what it did, nor is the hair color any good.  GuruSR. I'm not really familiar with scripting unfortunately, but I definitely want to show this mod some love!  These sound like great idea's. In particular I think it's important to keep the mod and the aesthetic grounded in the world of skyrim. I really dislike when mods, even kink mods, start introducing too much modern stuff, the barber chair is a pretty egregious example of this.  A ton of the stuff in this mod don't even really have objects at all, so I'm sure you could find some easy area's of improvement.  About Item distribution. I personally use this mod as mostly player specific. I like that the Player Character is a little bit out of place all glammed up like she saw a picture of a modern pop diva and then became obsessed with replicating it in her world. All while the Skyrim NPC's see her as a bit crazy. I would like to see some objects appear somewhat 'dual use'. As a vague example, rather than something like a "hair scrunchy" in a loot pile, it could be something more lore appropriate like a strip of leather thong to tie hair with.  I I'm sure there are lots of practical items that skyrim NPCs might actually have that could be repurposed.  I also play pretty heavily for the "addiction" part of the fashion addiction. I enjoy that the PC's fashion obsession becomes more and more impractical as things progress, from simply styled hair, to tottering on high-heels and panicking when her makeup isn't just perfect.  1
KentuckyExpat Posted February 2 Posted February 2 No argument about the barber chair, but, FYI, it was the only object available to Emily when she brought it into the mod. She noted it at the time and asked if anyone could provide a more appropriate item. Oh, and you have found "hair scrunchies" in your loot? Lucky fellow, I've never seen them. But I do agree that, give the milieu, a leather thong would be more appropriate. 1

I agree. I think as long as it has some fantasy flair to it it's generally okay though. Also, I did remove the kinky restraints from the barber chair and set it to use vanilla texture paths (dwemer metal and noble cloth). I still need to tweak its UV and mesh flags a bit, but it looks a lot better already. Vanilla textures also mean that it will support PBR for those that use CS.  5 hours ago, Darkwing241 said: About Item distribution. I personally use this mod as mostly player specific. It's very noticeable in my game because I have a taffy replacer that makes them look very much not like an elastic hairband! For now I've changed the model to leather strips. 2

That would be incredible. I think most of the previous conversations about the addiction/confidence track were related to it granting positive effects. Think something like "flirty look" an active ability similar to nord warcry but a taunt effect instead of fear. More immersive negative effects would be amazing too.  My main use case for the confidence track is a way of getting temporary boosts for speech skill checks (and a lot of role play situations). For example I like the idea that my character goes "I have to win over Mikael to stop bothering Carlotta, I better get dressed up". The simple speech buff actually works really well for this, especially if you interpret it as the PC's 'internal confidence' that matters rather than overall appearance.  I also really like the idea that fashion items aren't (initially) meant to be worn all the time. This is after all a mod about putting on and taking off the accessories. If I just wanted makeup all the time, I can do that far better at the character creation screen. The High heels system works incredibly well for this (with some minor finetuning to the debuff values). Heels slow you down, they are bad in combat but they make you look pretty and are easy to put on and take off. More and more trips to town and eventually the PC gets used to heels and can wear them all the time, so she does. Too much 24/7 heel wearing can hurt your feet though and slows you down again, so the PC ends up trapped in heels that slow her down all the time, but its even worse not wearing them (from both the heel training and the confidence/addiction track) so she can't escape.  Some random fun Ideas Dress Code: To expand on that I like to set certain rules for certain areas, a sort of 'dress code'. Where certain area's have certain requirements based on imagined cultural values. For example to go to the tavern my PC needs to have her hair done. To go to the White Run Jarl's palace she might need to wear high heels. In Riften women might be mocked on the street for not wearing makeup. Going into any town requires bathing. ect. There are lots of easy to implement options for violating these rules too, from things as simple as locking the door if requirements aren't met (maybe you can still sneak in) to small fines in the form of vanilla bounties (a good option for not blocking progress and compatibility with other mods). Area dress codes are actually my number one wish for this mod.  Influencers: Another idea I had was to add wandering NPC's/Vendors on the roads or in towns. Imagine, "This is Suzy Lorfrindly, she sells high heels" When you encounter her the first few lines of dialogue are about how great her heels look, and then normal lore/trade options. When the PC meets this influencer her fashion addiction is increased, simulating a competitive desire or jealousy over this new fashion item. There could be lots of lore friendly and immersive dialogue options you could use for each character. A nord that seems 'magically ageless' from makeup. A "warrior" woman who wears bizarre shoes that make her look much taller, her legs look more toned and give her a confident posture ect.  TLDR Above all I think it's important to not have a system that generate an incentive to just put on every single fashion element possible right away. That needs to be the number one priority for any confidence/addiction system. It needs to be a game of some sort, not just an automatic buff or penalty. Players need to be making decisions and have reasons to put on, take off, and choose different items. 1
Rudra68 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Does anyone ever experienced a bug where, while trying to remove Nylons, you get a message "You are already wearing Nylons from the Stockings pack", which is tru but I'm currently trying to remove it... I tried clicking on it, removing every tatoo in the MCM, dropping it, the command "player.unequipall" but nothing seems to work, I can't get rid of those Nylons.  It's true that I've equipped the Nylons, and then used the "Stockings and Pantyhose Pack" to test it, but I haven't suspected that this would cause such a softlock
Coffinmeat Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Forgive me if this is common knowledge. In the description it talks about fashion levels being provided by clothing. Is this inherent with some clothing sets or is it something each individual has to assign for all of the clothing they wish to have provide the bonuses?
Darkwing241 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 19 hours ago, Coffinmeat said: Forgive me if this is common knowledge. In the description it talks about fashion levels being provided by clothing. Is this inherent with some clothing sets or is it something each individual has to assign for all of the clothing they wish to have provide the bonuses? No. Default skyrim armors/clothes, and mod armors do not affect fashion level. In general the only things this mods (and most mods) interact with are the items added by the mod itself. How would YPS know which armor is fashionable and which is ugly? There would have to be some sort of flag in the files governing that particular armor. There are some items that are "clothing" added by this mod, like stockings.  There are some exceptions. Bathing affects fashion and comes from a separate mod. Some jewelry is affected by the piercing system, i believe these are detected by slot number. High heels are detected by the background mechanics used to lift your character model off the ground. These all work because there is a universal system amongst all modders the signals that an item is a high heel ect. A funny side note is that if you have some other type of footwear like japanese geta or stilts, these would detect as fashionable high heels despite not actual being high heels, because it's actually the lift that signals YPS.
AylaElfie Posted February 10 Posted February 10 @Coffinmeat @Darkwing241 There actually is a system in place for this now (in SE at least), but it requires configuration on the user end. YPS uses Keyword Item Distributor to distribute fashion "ratings" to clothing, ranging from ugly (-2 fashion level debuff) to sexy (+2 fashion level buff). The file is YPS_Clothes_KID.ini under the main mod folder. You can add your own clothes to each different fashion rating defined in the file. KID also supports adding keywords to other items with specific keywords. So, for example, you could set all clothes with bakafactory's "EroticArmor" keyword to receive the ypsClothingSexy keyword for a +2 fashion buff. This line would do so:  Keyword = 0x270381~yps-ImmersivePiercing.esp|Armor|EroticArmor  If no one else gets around to it, I could work on a file that adds support for various modded outfits. 5
Anunya Posted February 10 Posted February 10 For keywords, I typically use the feature in OSL Aroused to assign keywords to my outfit if whatever KID files I have haven't done the trick (some of the other SLA versions have the same functionality).
