I know it's frustrating, but long story short, no one else seems to be having this issue. We're happy to help try to figure this out - that's what this site is all about - but it's pretty clear that YPS isn't the root cause. How about the log?

If it is above 65536, the save cannot be loaded anymore and generally, if you are close to that number already on a new game you will run into problems, because is fluctuates and slightly increases the more you play. But you don't need the restringer took or fallrim tools all you need is Crash Fixes follow the instructions and download the preloader as well. Make sure you set it up right so read.

But you don't need the restringer took or fallrim tools all you need is Crash Fixes follow the instructions and download the preloader as well. Make sure you set it up right so read. Well, with the tools one can find out if it really is the string table bug, it could still be something else here. But I also recommend using the crash fixes package anyway. Everyone should use it, I never had a ctd ever since I installed it. And I didn't even know it also includes a fix for the string table bug.

I use it and at this point I just kinda expect everyone uses it too, lol so it didn't occur to me. I have been messaging him trying to help him in PM's so having diagnosed his problem some more this is the most logical observation on what his problem actually is. He was saying his save was getting corrupted it made me think it happened overtime or when he saved it with YPS FASHION he couldn't reload his save. But installing YPS crashes him instantly he doens't even get in game which makes me agree with you that its is the string bug.

I have this on the radar, and in the recent updates have been trying not to add more strings if possible (using Papyrus Util instead). And maybe I will even reduce the number of strings in a further update.

Is it random what hairstyle is chosen or is there an option to choose which one? I ask because i always get a vanilla hairstyle when starting the mod and I did not see any option to change that? For me it would be enough to have only the KS hairstyle enabled, if the esp is found (who want vanilla hairstyles anyways )

But other than those, the default list is all non-vanilla. Which length haircut did you begin with?

But I think YPS never got the hand on it (I obviously activated the option in the MCM), but even if I shave, the pubic hair from SOS is still there. Also, and I don't know if it's related to YPS, my character's hair turned white for no reason, when I check in the MCM, the custom color is set to white but when I open racemenu, it puts the original color back on my character. All of the NPCs pubic hair (from SOS) synchronized on my characters color. I don't really know if it's related to SOS or YPS :/

For me it would be enough to have only the KS hairstyle enabled, if the esp is found (who want vanilla hairstyles anyways ) You want to have a look at the file SKSE\Plugins\ypsFashion\ypsHairDefault.json There are several variants, simple copy the one you want (or edit it to your liking). Or you can place the styles you want into the places with the same number in "custom styles", i.e. length 5 into slot 5 etc. Then you can choose "use custom styles as default" in the MCM. Or if you have non-default custom styles that you want to progress into each other, place them into ascending slot numbers. I.e. if you f.e. currently have custom style 25 and your hair grows to the next stage, the mod checks if style 26 matches (new length and variant) and uses that if it does.

You need to remove it (in SoS MCM menu) to make this mod working properly. Maybe try to change custom hair to something different (like red = FF0000), and then dye the hair and see what happens. I haven't found out how to shave with this mod yet do you craft it or something?Buy shaving cream and shaving knife from one of the vendors. Then click on shaving knife. Both items can also be crafted.

I have the SOS pubic hair disabled in the SOS mcm, and no matter if I have the 'Same as Hair Color' checked or have the red hex code enabled, the pubic hair is always black.

It seems Skyrim Unbound (which I believe starts you as a male before you pick gender) apparently crosses some wires. The fix was pretty straight forward and was just a matter of disabling the hair growth, then re-enabling it and going through the process again (it starts 'on' as default, at least for me). I honestly can't believe it wasn't the first thing I tried, i'm not an idiot - I swear!
