ThaGamer Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 For those that can't get it to work or it's looking like a mess, you can try downloading this: Body files: REQUIRED: drop contents in Fallout 4/data folderCBBE_Fo4_alpha_v0_2a.7z Also, uninstall other body mods if you have them. After getting the sliders where you want them, you can save the preset at the top of the window and for it to show up with the CBBE.esp, press build at the bottom of the BodySlide window to export your desired body over to FO4. Part of the confusion may be that even though it says REQUIRED, it's alpha v0.2 and there's an alpha v0.3, so people may read over and skip to alpha v0.3 as a full package.
nutluck Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I am reading a lot of stuff here, i will create a topic to problems related only so we can focus on alfa problems, is that ok? Not trying to be a smart ass, but assuming you are talking about problems with the alpha release of the mod, it's alpha not alfa. Just FYI. Wow! Sorry, my native language is not english... i will pay atenttion next time, thanks! But what do you think about a topic so we don't flood the alpha topic with common problems? That's why I said not to be a smart ass, I was letting you know so you was aware. It sounds fine as long as Caliente doesn't mind

Sure, and i thank you for that, my native language is portuguese, and maybe sound funny, but a lot of words is almost the same and write very different. I create the topic, i just hope this could help, i can only imagine caliente and cell reading all this to find no new feedback about the alpha and just some basic problems, in special since mxr made the review.
Fleshy Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Hi all, i'm not a modder but i use Photoshop for work, I am a little amused to change the textures of the vanilla body for CBBE! I have converted the specular map of Mature Skin for Skyrim on the FO4 CBBE version (it's absolutely the same texture) and add trimmed pubic hair! With this mod the skin are has less glare of Vanilla version and seems more silky and soft (and and not plastic as the vanilla version). I like both versions so I dont know if I continue to use my mod or if I will change it but I will try to add some modifications for more reflections of the lights on the skin. I repeat, i'm not a modder I don't think I will publish the mod on NexusMods even when it comes out the official version of CBBE, is only in the spirit of sharing with the forum and why I feel embarrassed to ask only (also because i have only converted the specular maps and add the trimmed pubic hair) Still missing neck seam, I will do when I have time or you can do it, does not matter! That bodyshape is really nice. Would you be willing to tell me what setting you used in bodyslide?
nutluck Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Yes English is very bad for words sounding the same but spelled different. Like where, we're etc. English is my native language and I still forget at times. like dye and die etc. It is a fine idea as long as Caliente doesn't mind.
assan84 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 First of I would Like to thank the CBBE team for all their hard work. Both as early birds in FO4 and previously in Skyrim. This is my attempt to maximize the "beautification" of the female body with what is currently available while at the same time to try and get CBBE to work with Busty to obtain some semblance of outfit enhancement while I wait for Outfit Studio while using the much better CBBE body. The mods used for the screenshots below are as follows: -CBBE_Fo4_alpha_v0_2a -Busty V4 (Edits in game Triangle slider to provide more bust and butt, also effects clothing and armor) -Young Female Face Texture (Face Re-Texture) -The Eyes of Beauty Fallout 4 Edition (Eye Re-texture) -Wasteland Salon V1.3 (Hair Re-texture) The face texture also includes about 10 makeups/blemishes etc. at very low settings to try and provide a bit more to the face. All of these mods save the CBBE alpha are available on nexus (just search). Busty has since released a V5 that has textures and meshes (No idea what it looks like). However V4 which solely edits the way the in game Body Triangle effects bust size is still available listed as "Busty less (Esp Only) in the optional files of the Busty page. The slider preset enclosed was set up to work with busty to allow for a more curvy clothing/armor (primarily vault suit) while not causing the Body itself to display absurdly weird aspects due to the Proportions being adjusted by both body slide and busty at once. I found the the tuning down the breast size and butt size worked but it was more effective to adjust the "Apple Cheeks" and Breast Sliders specifically to compensate for the effect Busty causes to the in game slider. I have enclosed a variety of screenshots to display the way these textures, and meshes display in various light conditions and from different angles. I hope these screenshots provide some useful feedback to the CBBE team. The following lighting mods were used. -Darker Nights (darkest). (Self-Explanatory) -Fr4nsson's Light tweaks. (Removes Fake Lights) Also a tip for those new to using the "showlooksmenu 00000014 1" or truncated to "slm 14 1" console command switching to body and then back to face will centre the camera properly on the players face to make it easier to adjust. I hope this post proves useful to some. Because I got tired of being a Lurker While talented coders and Artists make free content that is so much better then original. Cheers. Edit: the lines that appear on the thighs in the last 4 pictures are shadows and not the meshes or textures. Slim4Busty.xml

ExecutorBill Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Ok I've got the invisible texture working now by changing the reference to the female body in FO4Edit. My only problem is that the hands become invisible. If anybody knows why the hands become invisible you would be a great help If I had to guess, I'd say it might be because there's some armor properties that tell the game that the outfit has to cover the hands. Like if you look at Kellogg's outfit, it takes up several slots on the character slot even though it's just one outift. But it covers the legs, chest, arms, and hands/glove Perhaps you should try editing the Courser Outfit's values in the "armor" tab so that it doesn't take up the hand/glove slots? If I have guessed correctly, it could make the game recognize that it needs to display the hand meshes whenever the player is wearing the Courser Outfit. But... If you don't mind my asking, how did you get FO4Edit to edit the first and third-person mesh references for armor pieces? I've tried to replace some meshes in the manner that you're doing right now, but I can't figure out how to get to the right menus to tell the game where to reference a certain mesh for a certain armor. You're right, the courser armor has gloves. Confound it! As for Fallout 4 Edit, some armors have a first and third person mesh ref and some don't. All I did was change the path by inserting it into a new esp (override or insert as new) and then right click and editing the path. Some people have avoided doing this and just made the nifs invisible like in Skyrim modding. But it's slightly easier to edit in FO4edit I think. Oh, another thing you could do is download the Bethesda Archive Extractor (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/78/?), then use it to open Fallout 4's main BSA2 file so you can see the file path for the Courser Outfit. Once you've installed the program, you'll have to open the program and access the BSA2 archive via the file menu: "File --> Open --> (navigate to the Fallout 4 Data folder, then Open whatever the name is for the fallout 4 BSA2 file that contains the meshes)". Then you'll be able to browse the various file paths for the armor meshes, and see what .nif files they would point to if they were all loose files. You can then scroll down the armor tab and locate the mesh names for the Courser outfit and gloves; at this point, you should take note of the names of the folder directory, as well as the file names for the Courser Female Outfit and the Courser Female gloves. You'll then probably have to create the folder path for the Courser outfit as described in the program. Then you can try to copy/paste the female body & female hand meshes that you've installed via Bodyslide, and rename those female body & hand meshes to the names of the Courser Female Outfit & Courser Female Gloves that you see in the BSA extractor menu. I've successfully used this method to replace Kellogg's outfit for females with the Raider Harness that Caliente included in the current alpha of bodyslide!

midnightwho Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 is there a mod to make the cbbe compatable and visible in vanilla armors?
DexesTTP Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 is there a mod to make the cbbe compatable and visible in vanilla armors? Yes and no. Caliente will provide this mod/tool (called Outfit Studio) when its ready. There's no ETA.
Psyrecx Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I've been having an issue getting CBBE to run properly. It seems that the only thing that is loading is the textures. I've checked and everything seems to be installed correctly, including the mods to the ini files. I don't have any other mods that should be interfering with it, so I'm at a loss as to why it won't work. If I go back to the vanilla textures, everything is normal, so that means the body mod is not working. I must be missing a file somewhere, but am unsure which one. The problem has been previously mentioned here about 10 pages back, but was eventually burred under other posts. If someone could explain how to fix this it would be much appreciated. I have the same problem but not when go nude. When in the suit or outfit like harness or some dress i get the issue like that ,but when in nude there's no texture problem like that at all. I'm kinda confused right now. I have everything install and all set,of course the ini files is all set. But still the problem. It just seemed to be an issue with one of my saves. Not sure what exactly caused it, but I'm still suspecting my armor slot mod, though I though I installed it before the save I went back to to fix the issue. Either way, it's probably some other mod causing it if you're having the same problem, which means you'll have to uninstall the mod and go back to a save prior to having the mod installed. Well i do reinstall all the mod and try loading the 3hr. older save file, still the same. look like i have to wait for the newer version. I found out what my issue was last night, it wasn't another mod causing it, so it may be the same for you. Certain outfits will force the game to use the default mesh. Removing the thing that causes it won't fix the issue either. I found this out, because I put the summer shorts invisible outfit on my companion, and the mesh properly worked. Any other outfit I were to put on her, changed the mesh, putting the summer shorts back on, doesn't fix the issue, neither does saving and reloading the game which you would think would fix it. So yea, the game is a tad problematic.
shatteredhelix Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 is there a mod to make the cbbe compatable and visible in vanilla armors? As has been stated a multitude of times in this thread, they will be compatible when the full version of Bodyslide and Outfit Studio is released.

vram1974 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 i'll wait for nexus stable version The alpha is stable, it's just not doing all the things Skyrim can yet. But there are actually more options than Skyrim for the new Bodyslide, which makes it awesome to play with. You can now shape the body better with sliders that provide better fine tuning of breasts and ass. What's interesting is Caliente has hinted at doing male body slide. Would be cool to play with that as well, although I wonder if we'd get a penis or wait for a "havok object" again. I could imagine the fun playing with dick sizes in bodyslide. Thanks, that makes sense and it's something I thought about doing but I've been too lazy. For now I have Piper running around with "dat ass" showing and that's enough for now. But yeah, I do have BAE (lol, shitty acronym) and I do think that will be a great workaround for the Courser uniform. I'm just gonna leave this Presets here for Nude/Never Nude/Harness for whomever wants to use it : Download Link : https://mega.nz/#!YYAGxbjS!ijGnK6qY2YBKw8WNwhN4BNsC-HSwg-pfqXuC7FaZlS8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFfQzlH0LM4 Nude : This looks nice for the player character but honestly I would LOVE a Nuclear Nude version for CBBE Raiders. The dirty, bushy textures for that mod is da bomb.

Wast1980 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Hell, lurking this thread since weeks I really need to say something now. I have to admit I wasn't a big fan of BodySlide, but always liked the butt shape of CBBE. Now with more polygons BodySlide works much better because of much less deformations (on high values). I'm really looking forward to the outfit studio as well, but still hoping for some good working import export and weight painting scripts for blender (as well as updated nvidia photoshop tools, damnit). Can't wait for the release, keep it up and take your time!

jimmybignutz Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Hi, bodyslide and cbbe seems to be working, only problem is that I now have a purple patch in the back of my neck. Does anybody else has that problem? Someone else posted the same issue a ways back. Here is one of the posts and the post under it may help. Good luck.
