Koffii Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I don't know nearly enough about the internals of FBX to help, unfortunately. Like I said, you should totally contact the original developers. They're generally a friendly bunch.
deltadeath93 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 i can not get the body slide to function I downloaded unzipped to desktop them moved all 3 files to fallout 4 data folder. when I go in game to my save just before leaving 111 and go to adjust my body only the triangle is showing up where I can only change body shape for all at once options Are you trying to change thew body inside the game ? It looks that way and if so you are not doing it as intended for this mod. This mode do not change the in-game body configuration (reason why you just see the triangle) but as an external tool named bodyslide you need to run to configure a base body (corresponding to the middle of the triangle) that will then be exported to the game. In short to configure the body do as follow: - install both CBBE and bodyslide in your Fallout 4 Data directory - in Data/Tools/Bodyslide run Bodyslide.exe as administrator - Tweak the body in the program then click "Batch build ..." - in thew pop-up that appears deselect the things you do not want (for example I unchecked NeverNude because ... well ... I like nude bodies) - then you can start your game and the body will be changed if you want the exact same body keep the dot in the middle of the triangle but you can experiment moving it around Note: the mod as it is is still not complete (alpha means incomplete and buggy in classic programming jargon) so right now the body will look as intended only if your character is nude (but armor add-ons are fine even though they may clip) or wear the one specific "Raider Harness" the dev team was kind enough to give us in this update so not really fit to a perfect playthrough right now (unless perfect for you means run around naked and laughing at the Picasso mess that are the NPCs) Also do not use other body texture mods as this body use a different texture (so no Nuclear or Glorious female nude ...) Enjoy! ty for help got it to work found a possible issue im using the valkyr female face mod from nexus and found that it shows a color /neck seam issue. just left vault will test various clothing movements combat and add list of issues located. found the left shoulder leg and right foot have strange discoloration spots. attached photo png of issue. current body slide settings for these tests are available I only edited the breasts. note they apparently shrink to fit into vault suit
FutalorDD Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 thanks caliente , cell and team. it looks great
jemacdonald Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Does it work with the Unique Player Mod, cause I don't want every raider female to share my character's awesome features? haha Yes it does, providing you put all the files in the right places. Only thing that doesn't work with is the hands (and probably the back of head, my chars hair is long so can't confirm), of course you could just wear gloves. Edit: Alternatively you could do what I'm doing at the moment which is have CBBE insalled as normal with the vaultsuit (clean and dirty) having custom CBBE mesh and texture so your char can be different to other npc but also reducing bugs from custom player paths etc. Also means I can switch my char to dirty look when the need arises. I have Unique Player Mod installed. It creates new folders in textures\actors\character\Cait...etc. The instructions are to replace the FemaleBody_d.dds, FemaleBody_n.dds and FemaleBody_s.dds with the corresponding CBBE texture files, which I have done. This does not seem to give Cait a unique shape. I believe she is using the same meshes\actors\character\characterassets\FemaleBody.nif file as all the other in-game female bodies use since this is the only file that Bodyslide modifies. Am I missing something here? You say "provided you put all the files in the right places." Does a copy of the .nif file need to be put somewhere somewhere else? Please explain in more detail since I'm not really all that savvy with the file structures.
LidiaSun Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 For first attempt it looks great at least in my eyes
dwpe Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I don't really like releasing something in the middle of a forum thread, but some people have asked for it and it seems to be allowed... so I guess I will. But I'm going to just be lazy and copy/paste my Nexus description... icon.jpginnie-vs-outie.pngshaving-styles.jpg WARNING: CBBE is still in a pre-release Alpha stage. This is a body texture replacer for the CBBE body and will not give you a CBBE body mesh. You will need to acquire CBBE for Fallout 4 before you can use it. See requirements below. Description: Changes the texture that comes with CBBE to have an "innie" rather than "outie" pussy. It may be called a "cameltoe" pussy, or in Japanese "sujiman kupa." Comes in five styles (currently): shaved, traditional, small strip, strip, and v. Features brand new nipples, and several normal map options to choose from (Soon™). See images for exact depictions. No ENB or post editing were done on images. If you want to make some better ones feel free to upload them! Want to learn how to make an NMM installer yourself? Check out my NMM Installer Tutorial. Want CBBE Innies for Skyrim? Get them here! Should be compatible with adding shaving styles via TextureBlend (not yet uploaded for Fallout 4) if you would like more options than provided. Just install shaved/waxed style if you intend to add different styles with texture blend. Overwrite existing data with individual folder contents. Troubleshooting: Something not showing up correctly in-game? Navigate to Documents\My Games\Fallout4 and add bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 under [Archive] in your Fallout4.ini Changelog: 1.1 Alpha - December 12 2015 New! -Diffuse textures recompressed as DXT1 for better compatibility and reduced file size. -Hand textures no longer included as they were redundant, already included in CBBE and were unchanged. 1.0 Alpha - December 12 2015 -Initial release. Alpha stage. Normals & Specular maps likely need redone. Every other clothes (that includes dresses, clothes, or armor: anything that covers the nether area) still uses the default body and then the texture not having the same layout as CBBE yoiu will see that (which I called Picasso in my note). They are working on adapting the clothes but will probably not make it available until realease (or close to it). again this is alpha and the focus right now is to iron out issues on the limited situation. In short look at the body naked (and avoid even face texture mods like valkyr) and see if there are issues from that point of view. as for neck seem with Valkyr again this is more a mod compatibility issue and it will be probably corrected when CBBE is released and if the Valkyr author decides to adapt his work to this particular body
deltadeath93 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 here are the body issues I have found via trying various clothing options in the qasmoke room. the first image is to show the nasty wrist break. one naked vs the one with shirt in same pose with same background is just to show how game seems to be removing the breasts to almost none existence. with all clothing for you to note for later on. the red dress and the shorts outfit I got a to get close up on the color deformations and see what it looked like and as you can see it seems the toes skin is stuck to the back of the leg like something is twisted I remember a similar issue happening in fo3 when body mods were first introduced the last 2 images are wearing caits corset out fit showing how again the game changed my characters body shrinking her breast and giving her a gut and fat ass vs what her body no clothes looks like. great job on the mod I know its an alpha build that's why im posting these and showing you what's buggy and needs work. thank you for your hard work.
Ubercharge Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 here are the body issues I have found via trying various clothing options in the qasmoke room those clothes use default body uvs, so it doesnt fit new body texture. so far only harness has correct body
poblivion Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 here are the body issues I have found via trying various clothing options in the qasmoke room CBBE textures on vanilla body do not match. Vanilla clothes using vanilla body, that's problem.
poblivion Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Someone is working on a compatible texture for the head? Therefore, so as not to visible the connection to the body.
jotunnqi Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Does it work with the Unique Player Mod, cause I don't want every raider female to share my character's awesome features? haha Yes it does, providing you put all the files in the right places. Please explain in more detail since I'm not really all that savvy with the file structures. You have the right idea, but the wrong mod, you are talking about the unique player mod, you are the player, not cait. You would need the unique follower mod to change cait specifically, and at the moment that mod doesn't include meshes. Until then the only way to change cait specifically (other than making your own mod) is to change the base body as you have done already, or to do as I have and use clothing. I used Badilators vault suit replacer and put CBBE meshes and textures in the vaultsuit clean and dirty folders, works like a charm. Edit: To clarify, it's not that unique follower doesn't come with meshes, it's that it doesn't allow for custom meshes.
dwpe Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Arm pits look weird, like wings when you jump, is this to do with the default skeleton?
zlota Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I must admire progress even between versions is quite impressive. Neck colour isn't so disturbing, many new sliders, harness looks great (i can hardly wait for zap sliders). And that finger nails, oh mine so lovely when she hold combat pistol.Actually i have one question. I have noticed when checking female Settlers. Are all females body shape right in the middle of triangle?
LilSkwerl73 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I tested the body and it looks great! Looking forward to updates for clothing/armor compatability =) Keep up the good work!
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Is it ok to share presets here on this thread?
ousnius Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Is it ok to share presets here on this thread? Presets? Sure. Just keep in mind that slider names will probably change before release, eventually breaking presets.
doomknightofchaos Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Thanks for the reply Caliente. By heart shaped butt, I hope the pictures below help to make it understandable. The heart shape, is the exact same shape you get from those Valentine's Day Hearts. That shape was made based on a female's butt, which is where it originates from. That's why a heart doesn't look like a real human heart.

I DO have Unique Follower Mod installed and that is the one that my question was in reference to. So, bottom line, there is no mod yet that can accomplish this. Your technique with the vaultsuit replacer, while good, doesn't address the issue of multiple followers, each with their own unique body. Hopefully the author of Unique Follower can update it to provide for unique meshes as well as textures.
dilmordo Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I am stupid.. i have tried everything but I cant get this mod to work :/ Can someone do a install for dummies, what files I need to put where and what to do to make this amazing mod work? How do one know it works? Do I need to undress my char for the mod to work? My main goal is to make my char look so much like a manga body as I can. Thanks for this mod, you're all gods amongst men!

Caliente Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I modded Harness outfit (just simpla alpha painting) to make knee pads torn. Please, consider adding full body under your outfits like vanilla body was, so people can edit alphas and tweak outfits... Meant to answer this earlier -- The body is technically included. If you open the bodyslide/slidersets/RaiderHarness.osp file in a text editor (its just xml) you can find the following block of text on line 292 : <Slider name="BodyZap" invert="false" default="100" hidden="true" zap="true"> <Data name="CBBEBodyZap" target="CBBE" local="true">RaiderHarness.osd\CBBEBodyZap</Data> </Slider> set the default value to 0, save and reload the outfit and you'll see the legs are back. That outfit has clipping at the feet, and there will probably be lots of clipping during animation. Just mentioning this, because replacing that zap slider with something that keeps portions of leg behind transparent areas is easily done with outfit studio, but is just currently set to erase everything hidden. I wrote an FBX exporter that I used to bring the body into maya for weight transfer. the export is a bit buggy and there's a maya script required as well to fix bone orientations. Currently there's no reliable path between blender and OS for weight painting ... blender's fbx doesn't seem to be very friendly.. .and there's no blender nif support yet. Getting modern Blender to work with OS is kind of important since Blender is the best free 3d app out there. More importantly, it's just a great modeller. What do you mean by blender's nif being unfriendly? It seems to work with every major application out there. I use it with UE4 all the time. If there's some kind of bug that prevents it from working, it'd be best to file a bug report on developer.blender.org. Or else contact Bastien Montaigne or Campbell Barton directly, since they're mostly responsible for the FBX import/export. Or if you have questions, Blender devs use IRC for day-to-day operations. #blendercoders on irc.freenode.net. (Campbell lives in Australia, don't know for sure where Bastien is located, but probably France. You may want to keep that in mind with regard to timezones) Sorry I wrote that rather hastily. Blender has some strange behavior when importing fbx files containing armatures. Maya also has a problem (because getting bone orientations correct within the file isn't something I have succeeded at -- my fault), but I have a script that fixes it for Maya. When the fixed file is imported in blender, the bone orientations are still incorrect. The rest of the data arrives intact, and it's possible exporting from blender will work for getting weights back into Outfit Studio. I use Blender all the time between the applications, but mainly by using .obj format (Which doesn't contain bone weight data). I want to get the FBX pipeline working smoothly too.. so far I've not been successful, but I'll work on it
deltadeath93 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Bad news guys. Even if we get the CBBE we may not be able to use it since new FO4 patch breaks mods Actually it just auto-deletes esp entries from your plugins.txt file. This can be solved by setting the file to read-only. Also, CBBE will almost definitelly not need an ESP file so it should still work. another fix for this issue is to install the script extender it will probably be needed for mods down the line later anyway. it bypasses the launcher so it cant shut off your mods
shatteredhelix Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Actually it just auto-deletes esp entries from your plugins.txt file. This can be solved by setting the file to read-only. Also, CBBE will almost definitelly not need an ESP file so it should still work. I just had to chime in and say it's funny you said that since the newest version of CBBE does in fact use an ESP to fix the leg texture on the back of the head problem. I just thought it was a bit humorous, since at the time of your writing it didn't. Just goes to show that nobody can predict the future since I didn't think it would need one either. I wonder if this means going forward that most body textures will need an ESP to fix that problem, or to put the face texture and the back of the head texture on the same texture map where it SHOULD have been in the first place. Bethesda was REALLY sloppy this time around with their model UV setup.
Joosey Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 HARNESS EDITS: If you guys want a harness with the full body for alphas textures (bottomless) You can PM me. All I need is a copy of your CBBE custom body and Harness. I don't need the textures. Just the custom body and outfit mesh you created with bodyslide. As you can see it does work (Basically just inserting the halfbody with the full one) Just thought I'd help some of you guys out so the CBBE crew dont have to do as much I'll probably do a batch ressponse tonight. Got to work for now.
