Hi Caliente & Team.

Thanks for all the work for this amazing body. After fiddling with the body for a few hours I think I found an issue and I do not know if this was a design choice or just a very hard to notice bug.

So after looking at the bodies I kind of felt something was off... I could not put my finger on it until it hit me.

The CBBE breasts are sagging the wrong way, even the perkiest breasts sag, its gravity or else there would be breasts floating in random directions.

Anyway what I realized was that the unrealistic sag is hard to notice unless you compare it to a real human body. As seen below.

The blue line shows when the breast 'starts' (noticeably anyway) from the cleavage area and the red line shows where it sags to. The yellow shows how the breast curves from the side to the breast sag.

I tried my best using available sliders to make the realistic effect but it is almost impossible. I tried increasing the size, gravity and even when all the huge sliders are set at 100% the effects are still not good. Actually I think I can compare thos effects to a Pear shaped breast (when looking from the front) at perfect 90 degree angle instead of sagging 45 degrees to either side of the body.

Anyway a picture is worth a thousand words. Is there anyway to add another slider to achieve this effect? Is it even possible?

CBBEPic2.jpgCBBEPic1.jpg

Note I realize some of these effects might be caused by the point of view and perspective but I went to great lenghts to make sure everything was from the same perspective or the best possible option anyway. If you doubt the breasts compare the stomachs of the CBBE bodies vs the real body, I find it the most useful trick to tell how prevalent the distortion plays on your eyes.

I have not run the game with the body yet but it is on my to do list for this weekend.

I hope this helps!

Ok, I have a quick idiotic question (and I really do feel like an idiot for asking)...  the mesh replaces all of the females in the game, but are the textures overwritten as well?  I'm asking because the first female I looked at is a dead raider and it has the default "dirty" textures over the CBBE mesh (underwear included).  I'm attaching a screenshot.

I haven't tried the Nuclear or Glorious textures since I figured that they wouldn't work.  Anyway, just wondering if raiders are covered.

(And I have the .ini file edited, all my directories are pointed to for \meshes and \textures, and the body is the base CBBE curvy from Bodyslide run as admin)

Read Caliente's release post under "Not included" and you will have your answer about the raider textures.

There is a slider in the nipples catagory called "nipple up" that mimics the effect I believe you are looking for.

I don't have Fallout4Custom.ini. I have Fallout4Prefs.ini but adding that string doesn't work :(

If you're wearing calyps' harness, the vanilla mesh is attached to that so the textures will be messed up with the mesh. That was my problem anyways.

Basically, you currently can only be wearing body armor addons if you want the body mesh to work right, and those will still partially clip into the body. At least until Cali releases Outfit studio and people start making conversions.

When you talked about the perspective to look at a woman I came to mind this.
the perspective of the female body is relative to different countries. An interesting survey of CNN.

And I also agree that breasts are causing problems

Darklyter,

I hate this forum.. It screwed up my message 5 times...

I'm no Modder I just installed Glorious with nexus. I didn't overwrite Caliente's files, said no to over writing each of them. But installed a dirty skin for the raiders. It adds new files (femalebodydirty) into the Fallout 4 - Data - textures - actors - character - basehumanfemale folder

So, then I copied the corresponding skins from CBBE and renamed them to overwrite the dirty files.

Copy and rename femalebody_d.dds to femalebodydirty_d.dds

Copy and rename femalebody_n.dds to femalebodydirty_n.dds

Copy and rename femalebody_s.dds to femalebodydirty_s.dds

This solved my raider skin issue.

Additional:

I imagine there are other skins that this could be done to similarly.

I don't have any other mods or addons. I applied the textures and mesh through bodyslide, but I still see the default nude underwear. I added the bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 into all the ini files that I have

We're going to need a little more to go on than that to help you. What exactly have you done so far?

You've changed Fallout.ini (not Fallout4Prefs) you've added bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 under the [Archive] section? And you have also changed

sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\

to

sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\

I have a quick question, on a few companions, namely Curie and Cait, the textures are correct, but the meshes seem to be the vanilla ones, IE nipple on the stomach etc.  Do they pull from different meshes? I tried a few things like creating a new folder named Curie/Cait in data/meshes/actors and renaming the meshes from basefemale and nothing seemed to work. Any ideas?

Yes I have done that. Do I already have to have a nude skin installed first before the CBBE one will work?

dasnix,

Textures are the skins. Meshes are the  models shape. I Had to overwite the raider's skins(textures) with the ones from this mod.. I'm not sure about the other actors, piper, curie, etc.. Not sure if they have their own unique skin that you need to overwrite..

when bethesda going to release the CK anyway ?  :s

Todd Howard said early 2016. So my personal guess is no earlier than February but it could theoretically be sometime in January.

Are they completely naked? If they're wearing anything, (e.g. calyps' open harness mod) it can revert to the vanilla mesh with CBBE textures. You've got to strip them so they have no outfit on. Only body armor is good.

No, you shouldn't. It's comes with its own textures. Did you transfer the files correctly into the proper directory?

Install this mod, this will give you the correct folders to copy the CBBE textures into the right folders. CaitBody, CurieBody, PiperBody. All in the Fallout, Data, textures, actors, character folder.

Ah I see what it is now, thanks. I edited one of the worn suits a  few weeks back and never thought of the fact that all I did was take it down to the mesh,  I consoled it out and works great now.

Don't know if this is of interest, but I'm using D_Rail1602's Unique Player mod and to have my followers use CBBE I put the mesh and textures for CBBE in place of the vaultsuit from Badilator's Nude Armor Replacer (both mods easy to find on Nexus). Only downside is it doesn't include hands but gloves fix that.

If anyone else feels like doing it just drop the mesh into

\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\meshes\Badilator\Vaultsuits

and the textures into

\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\textures\Badilator\SkinV111C

Mesh is for both clean and dirty so would suggest also sticking the texture in the SkinV111D folder.

Install this mod, this will give you the correct folders to copy the CBBE textures into the right folders. CaitBody, CurieBody, PiperBody. All in the Fallout, Data, textures, actors, character folder.

That mod doesn't include Meshes, so unless you have changed the base mesh for all females, it wont work. (Unless i misunderstood what you where helping with)
