the password is only needed to remove quest/unique DDs

standart DDs don't need any password

password was added to prevent users braking DD quest mods

I can't seem to edit the options on the setup page. The strip and hardcore options simply refuse to change when I click them. Since the password is not easily available I'm assuming that is unnecessary so I'm at a loss. Other MCM items on other pages are selectable. Any clue?

Correction. I can select any list item but I can not select any checkbox.

i saved a custom load, but when i tried to load to my char, it doesn't work. error: 1 spell invalid.

i tried loading local outfit, it does load. is there a specific load order for this to work? or am i doing it wrong?

Do the custom armbinders work in this version? I spent a bit of time manually fixing them using TESVedit at the last update and I offered to upload the esp file but got no answer.

The details on how to do this can be found on page 48 of this thread dated December 1.

I have an issue with DDE and SUM updating in a loop in game.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled and played with load orders where I can but nothing seems to fix it.  the loads run in a loop I captured below, basically forever ( i have left it 10 minutes and still looping) and constantly.  there are 1-2 seconds between updates but they never stop.  Right now I am in the "live another life" starting cell if the area is important.  Fresh new game and new save.  Vortex does not mention any dependencies conflicts.  Any ideas on what is causing it or how to fix?

It seems those idles have been removed in DDi 4. Remember, DDe was never tested with DDi 4. \

The armbinders work just fine with DDi 3. Not sure about DDi 4.

That should not happen. 

Do you have a log? If not, I need more information. 

1. Does it still happen if you install POP?
2. Can you SS the console if there are any messages showing there? 
3. If you take out DDe, does SUM still loop? 

I will try to duplicate this on my end.

Unfortunately in trying to fix it I broke my skyrim or my Vortex.  Mods stopped working (runs like vanilla skyrim) despite Vortex saying everything is fine.  I'm in the process of uninstalling and reinstalling both Skyrim and Vortex.  I'll let you know more info when I can tomorrow.  Once I get everything reinstalled and my load order back i will see if that fixed it and if not then I will report back. 

 

I'm just returning to modding skyrim after about 2 years so I'm basically a re learning all this from scratch since the old Nexus Mod Manager has been replaced.  In the meantime I don't understand some of what you are asking.

 

1.  How can i get a log for you?

 

2.  What is POP?  Don't know the abbreviation off hand.

3.  By Console, do you mean the ~ console commands or something else?

4.  I believe DDE is the only thing that had SUM as a dependency.

I'd like to point out that the current version number (4.x) is slightly confusing, considering DDEquip still isn't actually equipped to support DDi/DDX 4.0. But I guess it's unavoidable when the then-current major version number was 3 and you needed a new one to signify a major change.

oh ok..cant wait for the fix..not sure if its related but the device option doesnt proc..ie. stagger shout does not do anyrhing when my char in full dd gear use shout..

They only work in DDi4 if you edit the esp.

Trying out 4.02 on a brand new save (not from an infamous pre-configured  LAL cell save), two things to report :

-admin mode isn't locked (free get-out-of-jail card)

-it's impossible to select the PC as the active actor. The key bind doesn't let me select myself, and my PC isn't on the list either. SAME PROBLEM on your Skyrim Utility mod.

Problem solved though : I used the in-game reset for both mods, waited a few hours, and it fixed itself.

I'm having a bit of a problem.  In the past when I started a new game, I could select my character as an actor (actor selection screen), but now after the update for some reason, my character doesn't show up in the selection screen so I can't mess with a lot of the settings.
