foreveraloneguy Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Can someone explain me what's the difference between CB++ MAK Replacer and CB++ Outfits - MAK Replacer and between CB++ MakBoots and CB++ Footwear? Do I have to install all of them or just pick up one of them? There is no cb++ outfits mak replacer if you followed the install instructions correctly. In fact, there's no cb++ outfits anything any more. When I try to preview both large and small, the window comes up and I can see the body (sizes are correct) but as soon as I move my cursor onto the window the whole thing turns black, as if it's artifacting. the edges of this black semi circle (not the whole window is blacked out; imagine a black square for the top half and a black semi circle for the bottom half, that connect) are jagged in a random way, below which the normal grey background is visible. I have attempted to address this issue in many ways and none have worked. Problem here is that I can't swivel the preview object which is a bit irritating as I can only get a front view. 2: The breasts and bum collapse when a character dies. When you die, all the bones go ragdoll, including those in the breasts and butt.

I've found that the outfit "CB++ Mak R - Steel Plate Boots" seems to be missing some sliders in the distribution package, when compared with the ones listed in the "CB++MakReplacer.xml" sliderset: Nordplate_Boots_ChubbyLegs.bsd Nordplate_Boots_KneeHeight.bsd Nordplate_Boots_CalfSize.bsd Nordplate_Boots_CalfSmooth.bsd Nordplate_Boots_Ankles.bsd and the following sliders are present in the ShapeData\MakArmor folder, but unused in sliderset file: Nordplate_Boots_ButtSm.bsd Nordplate_Boots_CalThighs.bsd Nordplate_Leg_Armor_Butt1.bsd Nordplate_Leg_Armor_Makbutt.bsd

When you die, all the bones go ragdoll, including those in the breasts and butt. The only time I've seen this happen is when you have a t/bbp body mesh as a replacer and do not have a t/bbp skeleton and the associated hkx file installed, or when there's a problem with the skeleton's hkx file. But t/bbp works fine for many, many people without these sorts of issues, so it there was something broken in the core physics, I would think more people would have the issue.

As in every female will have different assets based on body slide presets? Just trying to decide if I want to get into this or not but don't want every female in the game to have the same type of body as my character. Would be freakin sweet if every female would randomly get a bodymesh generated but that would require some serious solid code.

Without race mods, unique chararcter, RBS, or similar, all character uses one mesh pair per outfit. The body counts as an outfit.

Actually it should be there, and it is in default Bodyslide. One might imagine two versions of the same preset, one for the body without cleavage, and one for outfits with cleavage. But that could easily be broken by simply zapping a bra. Live with it, you're not batch-building body replacers anyway.

There's a small number of Keo's imported (non-original-Skyrim) stuff, but none of the sets like "Jester", "Nightingale", etc. which even if you DIDN'T have Keo's installed could be used to generate working CB++ Keo-style meshes in-game. Have they been removed? I can see a folder with all the options there as part of the new Keo's file, but they don't seem to be appearing in Bodyslide++...

The bodyslide compatibility"... Sounds like a contradiction right there. Of course anyone can make their own standalone Bodyslide package with a custom body. But to retain compability with existing CBBE/CB++ presets, every slider in the custom baseshape must be set to either 0 or 100. Values between 0 and 100 needs to be compensated, like I did with KillerKeo's new custom bodyshape (a slightly modifed CBBE 3.2). Knowing the preset of the custom body is a start, though not a requirement, since instead you can slide the body to a working baseshape of roughly the same size.

And with the Mak sliders on large butt values there is clipping with the pantie mesh where there wasn't before (mainly using chubby butt, big butt and apple cheeks) Thanks for all your hard work on keeping these sets up to date though it's much appreciated.

Nope, Apprentice works fine here. On Cultist, AppleCheeks line were missing, the rest of the clipping (especially ChubbyButt) is probably just the effects of a low-res mesh. TG armors seems to have recieved a stealthy update, will update CB++ sliders for those. As for the Mak armors, please give an example where you see clipping. It's hard enough to find a Mak mesh with covered buttcheeks.
DeltaD36 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I've been having a problem where Slider crashes when I use it on specific oufits, the big example being Mak's Remodeled armors of the Vampire and Vampire Royal Armor. Any idea why? :/ I think it only crashes when I use one of the CBBE ++ sliders on them. Also a quesiton: Are there sliders for the Mage robes and such?

One of the pauldrons, and parts of the chestplate shift left and right. It only looks normal with Thighs at 0, and Legs and Butt both at 100.

Besides, CBBE sliders are CT77's domain. The above applies to DeltaD36's problem as well.

PROBLEM SOLVED: I had inadvertently managed to place a BodySlide folder into the, well, BodySlide folder instead of into CalienteTools during installation. Thanks Stuffed_Bunny!

DeltaD36 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 It turns out that it looks like some of the bodie the armors use are deformed. I noticed while I selected those armors to change, that they had no preset body on them. And, again, after trying a slider that was exclusive to CBBE++, the program would instantly stop responding and crash.

Unless I'm completely missing it. x_x Sorry, but I'm neither psychic, nor able to access your system to look at the problem. If you didn't do a clean install with 0.9.5, I'd start there. Just make sure you back up your presets first. I just renamed the existing bodyslide directory until I was happy with now the new one worked. If you did do a clean install, then can you post a screenshot of the problem? Sometimes a picture really is worth more than words.
