Futanari Prisoner Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Has this mod stopped working. i tried this before had it working, but now i can't get 1.7 or 2.2 working at all i have all requirements, and as far as i know all i have to do in game is use set self floppy spell. anyone got any ideas ? also it's right at the end of my load order. Sometimes I need to fiddle with the FloppySOS MCM settings and then leaving the menu until it says Floppy is re-configuring (or something) in the top left corner of my screen. Sometimes quick-saving and quick-loading helps.

Futanari Prisoner Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 No problem. I use custom settings and turning HDT off and on again fixes it almost every time. Just like Roy from IT Crowd always suggested.

I did quick save and quick load that did'nt work also try to get it to reconfig but it just would'nt trying this out on 2 .2 btw.
Futanari Prisoner Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 I loved the features of newer Floppy but I stick with 1.7 for stability. Also, make sure your character doesn't have an erection overriding floppy settings. My only other thought, if none of that works, is possibly you installed a mod that overwrote the skeleton? Pinpointing Skyrim problems can be like pulling teeth.

xGreedx Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 I seem to have an issue were everyone BUT my player character has perfectly working floppy physics, does anyone know what might cause this? Edit: Nvm I managed to get it to work properly somehow.
jopie123 Posted November 14, 2016 Author Posted November 14, 2016 New problem, when using v1.7 the physics work on both the penis and balls for about 1 second, then they stop entirely, but on any other version they just don't work at all Other versions -> you mean 2.x? There the mod priority is important. If the modified DLL doesn't get loaded instead of the vanilla DLL, floppiness will not work at all. I would like to report an issue related to the hdtPhysicsExtensions.dll that is shipped with this mod. In a nutshell, it changes the behavior of hdt objects which are not related to FloppySOS. More specifically, even if i remove all files related to FloppySOS and only keep the dll, hdt parts will behave buggyly (the tip of the schlong rotates around like a rotor). If i use the default dll, the bug disappears. I use AIO and want to merge my custom xml (collisions) and the FloppySOS xmls (hdt balls) into one xml, but at the moment my custom xml doesn't even work on its own when i use the FloppySOS dll. I really hope this can be fixed! I am in kind of a dilemma having to choose between AIO and FloppySOS. While we are at it, why does this mod need a modified version of the hdt dll? Is it to create/modify the xmls at runtime? And why does it affect the behavior of hdt objects not related to FloppySOS? The reason I modified the DLL is so physics can be attached to actors without them having to equip items. Also, to try and fix the FPS jitter issue, and to facilitate some code-related things (like a callback hook when HDT resets its objects). 2.2 has the updated DLL in it, but it doesn't solve the problem. As far as I can tell, the DLL code uses up available memory, which results in a crash. You an replicate (less easily) without going into Jorrvaskr simply by fast travelling from one city to another. For me, after doing one complete circuit, or less, I get black textures, and shortly thereafter, poof. And yes, 1.7 is far more stable, in this regard. I have tried everything I could think of to figure it out, but I can't poke into the DLL, of course. Are you interested in helping out? If you are, I'll gladly share the code with you, and discuss the issue in more detail.

I am more than happy to try, but I have no idea how SKSE plugins work, nor have I looked at C++ code in a long long time, so I don't know how much use I would be. Might want to ask CPU.
Cataclysimz Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 I'm feeling really lost guys.. I can't seem to get this to work on my character for some reason. I'm using SAM and i've downloaded and installed everything correctly i think.... I just don't get any floppyness at all and i checked all of the settings in the MCM menu to no avail .. but when i enable it for NPCS and use sexlab i can actually see that they have a floppy penis.. I'm also using the SAM HDT bounce and jiggles (That makes the chest, abs and butt bounce) the global version that also affects the npcs. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Guest ffabris Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Hit Shift-Del and select a floppiness setting.
Cataclysimz Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Hit Shift-Del and select a floppiness setting. Worked perfectly! Thanks so much... however, i'm still crashing upon loading my save games and at certain places for some reason.. reloading earlier saves and loading my quicksaves seem to work sometimes.. Any ideas how i can stop this from happening? :/
Sabres Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 I cant get it to work, I have hdt and collision in my body, but no floppy schlong lol. I tried to use the spell's didnt work. It installed and the options are there. Tried it with havok object on and off.
Cataclysimz Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 I don't know why this is happening.. But i've been getting some bad FPS drops when fast traveling... and the crashes when loading my saves have become very frequent please fix this! It's a great mod, but i'll have to do without it for now..

Guest ffabris Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 CTDs on fast travel are covered earlier in the thread. Short version: "known issue".

Futanari Prisoner Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Something of note regarding FloppySOS 1.7 and NPC equipment,When I look at the equipment strip menu in sexlab settings, often times NPCs will have multiple instances of Floppy, i.e. Floppy Balls and Floppy Custom. Would it help if every casting of "Floppify NPC" erased any prior settings?
rhody01 Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Great news Jopie and a question. There is a full body HDT mod (gives physics to butt, chest, belly schlong on males) and it works great. The only problem is it won't disable during Sexlab animations. Would it be easier or possible to hook into that mod, with your mods funtionality?

There isn't anything in the .xml for the SoS_HDT that affects the schlong or balls. If there were, it would cause a huge conflict with FloppySoS that would be evidenced by some really weird behaviour. FloppySoS and SoS_HDT simply affect specific nodes of the skeleton; so there isn't any real interaction between the two.
