MarkPlourde Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 I installed: Replaced the file in vanilla defeat Registered animation Then it crashes whenever i tried it. Hey Mark, amazing work thus far. I've tried it out and it works nicely as you said, however here are some issues I've encountered. 1- Some animations are floating a couple of inches off the ground 2- They line up perfectly at first but as soon as the animation begins the female starts flickering and ends up in a really awkward position, usually clipping with the male character. (This is especially so for the standing position) Again thanks for the amazing work! Let me know if you require a picture or anything more specific with regards to the issues. I installed: Replaced the file in vanilla defeat Registered animation Then it crashes whenever i tried it. Did you remember to run FNIS? Okay here are the steps I take to make sure everything works. 1. Do a clean install of the latest version of Defeat 2a. If you do not use a mod manager, nstall the Defeat Necro Patch files, overwriting the default "defeatactionscr.psc" and "defeatactions.pex". If you previously installed BlaBla's mod, these files will overwrite his as well. Run the launcher and make sure the "NecroAnims.esp" is active in the load order. 2b. If you DO use a mod manager, make sure the Defeat Necro Patch is active and loaded AFTER Defeat in the load order. Then launch normally. 3. In game, wait around a bit for the NecroAnims menu to load in the MCM. It might take a few minutes, and you may have to enter and exit the MCM in the pause menu before it shows up. 4. Go to the SexLab MCM menu, go to Clean/Rebuild, and click "Reset Animation Registry". Exit the menu and wait for the "Sexlab Animations Installed" messages to appear. 5. Go to the "NecroAnims" MCM menu and click "Register Animations". Exit the menu and wait a few seconds. 6. Go to the SexLab menu and go to the "Animation Editor" page. In the drop down menu at the top, scroll to the bottom and confirm all "Necro" animations are present. If you're still having problems, I can't really help beyond that. I don't know how animations work. Okay I reset all of the animations to their default offsets and they all line up perfectly. The exceptions are the standing anim (I just used blabla's offsets), and the Aggresssive Doggy Style animation, which I had to put in a custom offset for. Let me know if there are any issues with these. I'm also having actors standing back to back about a foot apart with the "necrostanding" positions even after letting the animations overwrite their intended animations. I hope this remedies it. It should. The original file I uploaded had the incorrect animation offsets. Redownload the current one and let it overwrite, it should work.

They shouldn't overwrite anything other than the previous version I uploaded last night. Ok so it appears my ctd has to do with necro animation not registered. After hitting register on MCM, nothing happens after i exit the menu. No pop up message nor anything. Also it doesnt show up on sexlab's animation tab If you already have BlaBla's original mod installed, uninstall that. Then redownload the one I've installed and make sure the .esp is active. RUN FNIS FOR USERS!!!. Then, once in game, go to the sexlab menu and reset animation registry. You should get a message like "SexLab Animations Installed" at the top left after leaving the pause menu. When you see that, wait another 2 minutes or so, then go to the Neco Anims menu and click "Register Animations". Then Click where it says "Page 1" on the left and click "register animations" again. Then exit the pause menu, run around for another 2 or 3 minutes, and check the Sexlab Animation editor to make sure they're installed. They should be at the bottom of the list, they all have "Necro" in front of the name.

Is it possible to have the esp to display a message when its registering and when its done registering?

All I did was recompile the NecroAnimationScripts.psc with the new animations added and modify the Defeat script to use the new animations. I don't know how to really make or modify esp's. EDIT: Try deleting the patch stuff, replacing the defeatactionscr.pex with the default one from Defeat, and then adding BlaBla's mod instead of mine and see if it still happens.

If all you did was editing the psc files, then the problem shouldn't be your mod. It should be BlaBla's mod failing to register. I do have the latest version of sexlab and it isn't registering the animations from his mod. Perhaps when someone else does a professional job like Non-sexlab animation, you can try patch it with his mod.

DarkRavage Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Do you use a mod manager? Do you use SKSE? Do you launch from SKSE? I use NMM, SKSE and launch from SKSE.
MarkPlourde Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Do you use a mod manager? Do you use SKSE? Do you launch from SKSE? I use NMM, SKSE and launch from SKSE. Okay, double check that the mod folder is set up in a way that NMM can read. I set it up for MO, but I can't remember if NMM uses the same structure or not. You may have to unpack it, change some files around, then repack it. Then once it's in NMM, double check that the NecroAnims especially is active in NMM. Then run FNIS, launch via SKSE, and follow the in game steps above. If that doesn't work, then you have a problem with SkyUI or Sexlab and I can't really help you.

I have a feeling you might say that. The structures are correct. The mod is active. As mentioned before, it did show up in MCM. I can register other animations fine such as ZAZ animation pack. I'm sure it isn't part of your mod. I think there is something wrong with necroanims.esp not registering with SexLab. Which reminds me to ask what version of sexlab and sky ui are you using? Im using sexlab 159c and sky ui 5.0
Game Goblin Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 My latest creation, Schroedinger the kajiit brawler already makes use of your animations. Then you go and make improvements! I can barely keep up! Cheers mate!

DarkRavage Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Same versions as you. Personally I find that sometimes I have to open a close mcm 2 or 3 times before menus show up and animations register. So I talked Rydin, author of NSAP, and he said he is implimenting unconscious sex animation into his mod. Once he releases his mod, can you make recompile the script into his mod?
underthestone Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 So im confused do we have to add the full necro animations pack to the necro mod manually or are all animations added with it...I know the one mod makes it so we don't have to replace anything but this needs to be clarified. And just a suggestion please update the page for installing process so everyone understands and is not confused I appreciate the mod.
Asrienda Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 If you're using it with Defeat, you only need the file on the previous page.

No the "necro mod" that blabla11 made adds one of the animations without replacing another animation. All of the animations are "replacers" which means it replaces the animation that is listed next to its name on the folder its in. Ex. "Necroroughmissionary"(replaces "aggressive missionary" animation)at the moment you have to manually choose what animation you want to replace. For example i didnt like the animations that played during the necro scenes in sexlab defeat so i replaced "arrok missionary " with "necromissionary" so the body lays still while doing the "deed" lol sorry for the confusion though hopefully that helped some what. Cheers.
MK66 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 After read here, I still don't understand. The NecroAnimationMod file is a mod that Blabla11 made so that you don't have to replace any animations from sexlab or nonsexlab. It is something he made so I don't know how it works. (you can ask him if you like lol) The animations ARE ALL REPLACERS. So, does it replace or not?

So I talked Rydin, author of NSAP, and he said he is implimenting unconscious sex animation into his mod. Once he releases his mod, can you make recompile the script into his mod? Depends on whether he's using the names and changes I made or doing it one his own. If he could clarify that, I could modify it accordingly. If he uses the same names and values for the animations that I modified, then you don't need to do anything but replace the defeatactionscr.pex I already made. If he sets his own names, then I need to recompile some shit. So im confused do we have to add the full necro animations pack to the necro mod manually or are all animations added with it...I know the one mod makes it so we don't have to replace anything but this needs to be clarified. And just a suggestion please update the page for installing process so everyone understands and is not confused I appreciate the mod. If you don't want the defeat replacer, just don't copy over the defeatactionscr.pex. The rest of the package is essentially just blabla's mod with all of the current animations added.
xpsyttox Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 (edited) Can someone help me on how to install this? I am a total noob and don't have a clue on how to install this mod Edited July 18, 2015 by xpsyttox
siwiilast Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 i don't get it, i killed a bandit npc. what now? i selected the npc with SL. if i use the matchmaker i can have sex with this npc like in a normal sex conversation. after that the npc lives again.
Leop99 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Can someone give me a guide on how to install these animations and play them through sexlab as separate animations (without overwriting anything)? I have never modded before and can't seem to follow the instructions others have given (sorry lol). And is there a way I can just download the file and activate it through the Nexus? Can someone help me on how to install this? I am a total noob and don't have a clue on how to install this mod Same here. Hope someone can help us both out.
Leop99 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Okay I reset all of the animations to their default offsets and they all line up perfectly. The exceptions are the standing anim (I just used blabla's offsets), and the Aggresssive Doggy Style animation, which I had to put in a custom offset for. Let me know if there are any issues with these. Ok, I used this and I got something working. Is this all I have to do? Why have their been posts mentioning editing fnis lists etc etc etc?

I made a sort of mini-mod that replaces the default animations used by Defeat's Necro option with these animations.
