Prison Overhaul Patched (LE)

I got it working with an in place upgrade to ZaZ 7.0 after starting with 6.1.

I'm playing for a month now with ZaZ 7.0 and POP 8r+s. I didn't notice any strange things, that I would point to a compatability between the two.

That animation is entirely controlled by ZaZ AP. What version of ZaZ AP do you have?

 

I'm using the latest ZAP v7, so maybe that's the issue

 

I'll try your animation test and let you know

 

EDIT: It doesn't do anything at all. You get a dialogue on top left but nothing happens and the pc can carry on moving. I've attached a log where I've started and stopped it a couple of times

If wearing one quest devious device to prison, it works normal for the first arrest, but then that quest item gets equipped on the next release even though not arrested with any devices at that time. This only happens if arrested with only one quest device.

I thought that one had been fixed, though when I reported I had a CD collar and belt and plugs. Odd its happening with just one device though.

 

I did blunder though, I hid those lockpicks for Inte under the jail bucket. But you know me I couldn't help myself and I stole the bucket so the lockpicks weren't there anymore. Took me a week to figure out what went wrong

Whenever I install this patch with estrus chaurus+, estrus chaurus+ will stop triggering the tentacle attacks.

Estrus chaurus+ had stopped working for me and was running through my mods to find out if anything was conflicting (I have too many lol) but this mod, at least in my case, seems to be the culprit.  

 

Has anyone successfully run both?  

 

I found this old post in the forum that was never answered but that is all I could dig up.  

 

Estrus Chaurus+ works with just the basic Prison Overhaul installed, just not with patches.  I would like to find a solution so that I can run both mods.

 

 

I am running EC+ and POP with no issues and have done throughout the whole alphabet of POP patches   - I have found however with 8s and my particular setup if I don't have DDEquip installed POP scripts don't initialise correctly.

Here are two logs - using the same savegame as a base to add POP 8s (everything else pre-installed)

 

In Papyrus.1.log DDe was present

 

In Papyrus.0.log was DDe was not installed

 

I'm just guessing but if you have any soft links to scripts e.g.

ExternalScript MyLink

MyLink = ExternalQuest as ExternalScript

Somebody much more intelligent than me (but I can't remember who) commented on this when I had the same problem in an early version of FMEA. They said that the absence of the expected script corrupts a table somehow and hence the cascade of failures you see in Papyrus.0.log.

 

Wonder what would happen if I put the DDe scripts in the folder but didn't activate the  esp - I'll take a look when I get the chance

That assumes my solution has been properly tested as being safe and effective - I'm no IT expert and imho it's neither, so I haven't shared it publicly. If anyone wants to know they are welcome to ask via pm

ZAP was the culprit after resetting it, it started to work.

 

I've uploaded a log as it shows the results of three tests and a screenshot. The first part of the log is where it fails, the second part after a ZAP reset and it's working, and the third part (and screenie) was when I tried an arrest scene. With the ZAP reset the arrest scene works perfectly but I noticed at the end the cuffs were loose (that's maybe ZAP v7 causing it)

1) I can't seem to get arrested. The Whiterun guard will say something about rotting in Dragonreach Dungeon but then the dialogue ends and I'm able to go about my way. No arrest scene.

2) MCM settings don't seem to take. Whenever I change anything, close MCM, re-open MCM, and all the changes I made are reset to default.

3) I tried to reinstall the mod by removing the mod, opening the game, making a save, closing the game, cleaning the save with save tool, and reinstalling the mod. But after reinstalling, the MCM menu won't register. I tried doing the setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1. I see a message saying that MCM registered some menus but not the Prison Overhaul menu.

 

4) I have also tried downgrading the patch from 8s to 8r to no avail.

In that case it would be interesting to see your loadorder and your logs ([user]/documents/my games/skyrim/logs/script). Are you using and starting Skyrim through SKSE?

I am starting Skyrim through SKSE. I have no log files. When I try to set the logging in the debug menu. It just reverts back to no logging.

Hi,

 

I've been trying very hard to get this mod to work. I'm having 3 issues.

 

1) I can't seem to get arrested. The Whiterun guard will say something about rotting in Dragonreach Dungeon but then the dialogue ends and I'm able to go about my way. No arrest scene.

 

2) MCM settings don't seem to take. Whenever I change anything, close MCM, re-open MCM, and all the changes I made are reset to default.

 

3) I tried to reinstall the mod by removing the mod, opening the game, making a save, closing the game, cleaning the save with save tool, and reinstalling the mod. But after reinstalling, the MCM menu won't register. I tried doing the setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1. I see a message saying that MCM registered some menus but not the Prison Overhaul menu.

 

4) I have also tried downgrading the patch from 8s to 8r to no avail.

In that case it would be interesting to see your loadorder and your logs ([user]/documents/my games/skyrim/logs/script). Are you using and starting Skyrim through SKSE?

I am starting Skyrim through SKSE. I have no log files. When I try to set the logging in the debug menu. It just reverts back to no logging.

I had that problem for a little while. POP takes very long to setup. Wait for something like POP MCM resetting. On the other hand, get Papyrus Util 3.3 from Nexus. (sexlab only come with 3.0, minimum requirement is 3.1. It also fix a bunch of other scripting by other mods like PSQ turning you into a succubus queen)

I have the same Issues with version 8s. Even worse after upgrading to 8s in a current playthrough my MCM showed a empty mod list. I tried this with loading older savegames too,  after some time they have all empty modlists.

If not using DDe, wait for POP 8t. It fixes a major shortcoming of Papyrus and soft dependencies implementation, which inhibits scripts loading properly.  

Meanwhile install DDe to make sure that is not the source of your problem.  

 

POP MCM does take a while to load. Check for the MCM wait a couple of hours in game and check for the MCM again. Also POP requires the latest versions of both, SkyUI and Papyrus Utilities.

I am having an issue with tripping in the parade scene when I go down I go down indefinitely and can't come back up anyone else having this issue?

 

EDIT: I'll clarify that when I go down from being whipped from the selected threshold %66 then I remain knocked down while infinitely getting a healing spell cast on my while the guard berates me to get up.

 

EDIT 2: When I use DDEquip and have them equip a dress + boots it seemed to work fine. But if you don't have a set outfit it doesn't work.
