Prison Overhaul Patched (LE)

having some problems with patch 8s, some options arent registering in the mcm menu, example under General page when i tried to select Captor use prefered path it will tick, but when i move to next page it will un select itself this happens to some other options, i tried to force manual restart same result and under the mcm menu i.e. Pop System only Pop version has a version i.e. V033 the rest i.e. Sexlab, ZaZ, Captured Dreams, Devices - Integration etc.. are all empty..

 

this is on a new game .

revert back to patch 8r new game everything registered fine no problems, idk patch 8s is not able to register itself on a new game.

I'm pretty dam sure I have all the latest mods installed  Just to be sure I downloaded and installed everything again and still nothing.  After what Whizkid said I went back to an old save and prison overhaul finally installed in the mcm and all the options are there.

 

One problem fixed but still the biggest one left. Arrest still not happening. After the arrest dialogue nothing happens. Even when I use the debug cheat and I get a *not viable actor* prompt. I do know how the debug works you need the target marker on a guard with the name up.

You need to clean your save of POP 8r.

 Do bounty hunters judge the time to delay for all bounties or for the hold they are actually taking me back to. The reason i ask is i have it set for 48 hours.. I had a reach bounty from the beginning, the next day 24 hours later I got a bounty in the pale. 24 hours later the bounty hunters are after me for the pale only my character is only 2 days old in game.

I think the BH go for the highest bounty first.

Pale was 2,000, reach was 1500 but shouldn't the delay be applied per hold? or is applied applied for all skyrim and they just take highest first? Whether you earned that bounty at the halfway point of the delay, or mere minutes before they start hunting you.

thanks but i do not need a clean save for a new game, obviously if i had been using 8r, i'll need a clean save. my point being patch 8s does not work for a new save (i.e. newly installed PO).

Well if 8r don't work either, then you need to update the mcm mod.

making a clean save from 8r, still does not work ..., getting same error i.e. not able to select options and mcm config showing up empty for supported mods..

 

 

Well if 8r don't work either, then you need to update the mcm mod. 

 

8r works, just that it does not work after making a clean save and then upgrading to 8s, so 8s does not work for me either new game or having 8r installed then clean save and upgrading to 8s.

if new game, install PO v033 fix, load game and make sure u get error msg abt sexlab being not compatible, save game and quit

load game with po patch 8s and wait for it to register (just sleep to wait 3hrs in-game for it to update).

check mcm and make sure everything is ok

 

if on an existing game, remove all PO and related mods incl prison if u hv it installed, clean save.

then install only PO v33 fix and make sure u get error msg abt sexlab being not compatible, save game and quit

load game with po patch 8s and wait for it to register  (just sleep to wait 3hrs in-game for it to update).

check mcm and make sure everything is ok

 

also have PO and PO patches at the bottom of your load order

e.g.

SD Addons.esp

Prison.esp

imo, get rid of the patches just take over the whole bloody mod it will make life easier than these damm patchesssssssssssss!!!!

I'm having problems with the MCM menu as well with the latest 8s version. Everything is unticked and is at 0, even after I try to make changes. I've tried this on a new game as well. Even with a game with an existing XPO version, and then updating to 8s but the whole MCM menu wasn't even showing. I probably suspect it has something to do with this: "Changed .::. Combined the PO and POP MCMs as requested by Punga."

What was changed about it? Is it possible to revert it since its not really playing nice, and someone else has this same problem as well. I can attach a log if needed.

A few bugs I noticed in the newest version:

- Male prisoners in the cage scenario have underwear instead of a schlong, even during sexlab scenes

- The submit at arrest scene is very glitchy:

- The guard says "turn around, get down" etc., but both characters (me&guard) just stand there. Do I need certain animations for this to work?

- Everything seems very slow in this scene, with nothing happening for several minutes except...

- ...I get constantly force-greeted by other guards until the "you have been arrested for major/minor crimes" message appears.

 

Btw., which animation set do I need for sexlab scenes at the x-cross to happen?

latest update, new or existing game still getting the same old problems.....

 

i think i'll just stick with patch 8r, patch 8s works but it keeps reverting back to the problems i.e. error 330 338 popup after that the mcm menu does not work at all i.e. same old problems not able to select options, patch 8r has been very stable so far.

 

p/s: i suspect the problem could be due to po patch needing to update when loading a save game somehow it triggers? (not sure abt this), but it seems other mods i.e. creature framework will also update at the same time, i think somehow this screw up po patch 8s, with po patch 8r, when it updates when loading a save game, creature framework does not update itself at the same time (if this helps in finding the cause...)
