Maybe just my 2 cents but since the MNC originator hasn't posted in a while (no fault of his, this game is very old) I think this should just up and replace MNC to cut down on an esp.  I know that's a massive undertaking but you still seem to be around.  Also, no Anubis animations included in this?  I know it's a good patch on top of MNC.  Sorry seems like I'm just cutting it down but I really would like a more current MNC with some of the later animations I keep seeking on naughtymachinima and if this turns into my all in one then awesome.

i love this mod and Skyrim immersive creatures. after so long with "regular" monsters, finding this one was a real treat. (that said, i never actually got to the Dragonborn DLC stuff or finished the game. too much to do...). so i do not know what Solstheim looks like yet. 900 hours in, and i just keep wandering around. heh.

 

anyways, im having some kind of issue with some of these critters, and im not sure which mod is to blame. the Draman model is the most affected, but it's happened to the werewolf and blood hybrids too. the model will occasionally become invisible, except for the genitalia, so i will be followed by a floating penis.

 

no idea if this has been reported yet, so here it is. any ideas?

New version of the SkyTEST patch up! 

 

And this was a huge bear for stupid reasons. The SkyTEST guy updated his horses in odd ways and changed all the formIDs. Also, turns out the old SkyTEST patch was for the old Creature Framework. So enjoy.

ran into a problem after updgrading from MNC 9.3 to MNC 10+ (by MadMansGun) with

 

invisible animal

no junk

 

so far it has happened (to me) on horse (all), red wolf, plague wolf, beserker giant

 

and yes I reset Creature Framework (3 times now) and it does not happen on any creature I have it set to use SLNude versions.

 

not sure of cause but am reporting it here (as well as on MNC10+ support topic)

don't know if you're aware, but MadMansGun has recently published an updated version of MNC here:

This version cleans up outdated stuff and adds some things, but it also changes the file path that textures had in MNC 9.3. That means we end up with SIC creatures without textures. So far, I've found SIC wolves without textured equipment and SIC falmer without any skin textures at all.

 

Do you have any plans to make your addon compatible to that new version of MNC? Just asking because I have to decide whether to stick with MNC 10C or revert back to 9.3. Thanks.

There's two issues that cause this.  BOTH need to be fixed for female draugr (and possibly some other female creatures) to work:

 

1) CF 1.1.0 pre2 and current SexLab have compatibility issue.  Apparently when SL started supporting female creatures, original plan for genders was: 2 = unknown, 3 = male, 4 = female.  This is what CF pre2 assumes.  However probably for compatibility reasons, SL is actually using: 2 = unknown/male, 3 = female.  Result is if CF is set to use sexlab genders, it'll recognize every creature as 'male'.  You can probably work around this by having it use skyrim genders instead, but that won't fix all the issues.  I'll drop a patch that should fix the issue on CF thread.

 

2) on the model replacer .json configs, you'll need to set up female version armors as "normalArmorFemale" and "arousedArmorFemale", for example

It's fine if the male and female replacers are in same form, but it'll still need to be added as both male and female for CF to use it for both genders of creature.  I'll add a 'patch' for draugr file that hopefully will work - I didn't test it extensively.  Chances are that there's draugr models that have female version but still don't have the female version of the replacer set up.  I copied the form over for several of the models, and also added one draugr model from vanilla that seems to have female model, but was only using the more nasty critters replacer which didn't have female version (it's the model I included as example on this post).  Hopefully you can do a more proper fix when you get around to doing next version.

 

Oh, also, the race was named 'Daugr' on the original .json, I change it to 'Draugr'.  Should only be cosmetic change (it was showing the race as 'daugr' in CF MCM menu)

On second thought, strictly speaking recognizing creature as male or female may not be necessary if the creature gender is set on skyrim level (like draugr) instead of just sexlab, and if the same armor form has both male and female models - technically it should work same as any armor that has separate model for male and female... and I think prior to CF becoming gender-aware on creatures, that's probably how it did work.  Even if CF treats the female creature as male, as long as the male armor replacer has female model too, skyrim should handle it correctly (it will simply use female version of the aroused "armor" if creature is female - same as any armor).  The real issue (at least on my setup) was that the draugr model I used for testing had only SNC skin option, which didn't have female aroused model for draugr.

 

That said, once CF is fixed to recognize female creatures, they need to either have the female model defined in .json (which will always work), or you need to use the male fallback option (which only works right if the armor defined for male also happens to have female model defined)

i patched up the esps a bit, but i have not started work on the meshes yet.

When I think about it, technically it shouldn't happen - because even when CF fails to detect the gender (which I think you can confirm through puppeteer), as long as the mesh is same for male and female, the result should be correct because CF will simply set up the creature with 'male armor', which skyrim will merrily display with female model.  And even if for some reason CF detects the creature as female (like if you don't use sexlab gender but instead use skyrim gender directly), the default option is to use male fallback - which again produces the same result.

 

I think you'd see the result only in specific case: if you set up CF to use skyrim gender (in which case it should actually realize it's female draugr), and disable male fallback (so it doesn't try to display the male version of draugr).  Ironically, the reason I was seeing the issue originally was, the female draugr I had on the test area is based on Skyrim.esm|0x16ee3 which didn't have BDSIC option, and didn't have female model set up for it in the first place.

You must have downloaded the SkyTEST compatibility patch?  That might require SkyTEST (I haven't checked).  BDIC.esp does not.  Of course, if you don't have SkyTEST you don't need the compatibility patch either.
