Bad Dog Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 I found him in the swamp opposite Solitude, where there's often a chaurus reaper running about. Today I spent some time in blender, then tried and failed to finish off the giants. I've always been dissatisfied with the wolf pups--they look like miniature adult wolves, not puppies. So I loaded one up in blender and fiddled it to see what I could come up with. Got this: As compared with vanilla (or at least what's in SIC): The muzzle is shorter, teeth blunter, ears more rounded, eyes a little larger, tail shorter, body rounder and a little larger relative to legs. I think it's an improvement but it's not all the way there yet. I think the whole head needs to get a bit larger and there's something off about the shape of the muzzle. Of course that doesn't have anything to do with the real purpose of the mod. I did spend a bunch of time on giant brutes and giants. The giant brutes include the minotaur and I got them all equipped, but they don't play and won't until Ashal adds them to sexlab. The minotaur, interestingly, has a tail which is hidden in game. It looks like the creator was trying to get it to move in concert with legs without having an actual tail bone. I might load that up in blender and see if I can do it with bone weights... for now, he hasn't got a tail. Truth is, I don't know how well these particular brutes will animate. They're pretty small, for giants, so the alignment may not be fixable. The regular giants are giving me fits. They should be routine, but a few are causing CTDs when they switch to aroused. It's entirely unclear why. I decided to pack it in and give them another go tomorrow. WIP:
EvilBadger Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Immersive Creatures is one of my favorite mods, partly because some of the stuff it adds is not only fairly challenging but also really downright horrifying and weird.From the screenshots it's only going to get worse. Much, much worse. By which I mean better.
nutluck Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Wolf pup looks a lot more like a younger animal already with what you have done. Hopefully you can get the Minotaur etc working.

I think it's all working reasonably well as per the release notes, except possibly the 4-eyed giants. I'm suspicious of them. Report any crashes when they're around, please. This has all my latest work, so no surprises if you've been following the updates.

Deleting mnc and making clean save only resulted in no creatures having boners at all. I must be doing somthing srsly wrong here.

Starting a new game solved the problem. Seems some part of registration is missing for saved games but i this part of the problem is rather related to creature framework than bdic..

Can't start animation with them, sexlab doesn't seem to think they are usable. Matchmaker spell just fizzles of em. Any idea what the issue might be?

That will happen in the next rev... if it looks like that will be delayed i may create a patch for the current rev but Ashal's not in love with that and I agree with him, so I won't do it unless it seems like there will be a big gap between the completion of this mod and the release of the new SL.

I grabbed Leito's strapons and modified one of them for the falmer body. I now have a female falmer who strips and gives careless adventurers the business WITHOUT having to have a sex change operation along the way. I also left her bodice on her for a little domme action. Behold: I might one day come back and replace the soul gem part with a bit taken off a chaurus but for now, this will do. Had to test it out, of course: I'll do the rest of the falmer next. Some of the armor seems to have both male and female meshes which may throw a spanner in the works. We'll see.

The hyena is probably based on a wolf, so that's okay, but the rhino/therium is almost certainly one of the ungulate skeletons and won't animate. I said when I was done with SIC I wasn't doing this again. But I've never yet loaded Moonpath... and if I do, I'm not going to like having boring sex-oblivious animals... hmm... I looked a lot at the last version of skymomod (and the SL patch). I ended up thinking the meshes were cruder than those in SIC. But the pics from this latest version are pretty sweet... I'll probably download it and have another look when I'm done here.
