hey like i said before great mod, i run 200 plus mods and it works perfect for me, instead of asking for help when something is wrong, people should read the back replies, 99% of time, their question been asked and answered. galgat's is saintly with helping people ... way better then i :P

I ran this mod with just lovers,curse, MPB, xeo an a few armor mods about 30-40mods total >.>; so yea I'm just getting irked as to whats causing the market crash.

Is that cursed armor, you are talking about ?

 

I have been unable to run even my version of cursed armor with lover's with out some problems sense some of the last updates to loversPK. But I grew tired of that mod some time back. I may try it again sometime, It is very fun. I will sort out problems then.

 

I think cursed armor would probably cause problems. Not sure though, but I have been all through wolfz scripts, they press hard to avoid dialog, but he use's Dialog a lot index ref by numbers, and dialog conditions are left bare. so his scripts plow the stress limits a lot on OB, plus just like most lovers mod he makes major use of the getfirstref, getnextref, while ( something == this).

 

I normally just shut all lovers mod's all the way down when I play one of his mods, I find it is better that way. Not that I have not ran his mods with lovers active, I just found it better to give his mods full control or give full control to lovers.

 

Estrus is same way, it is very aggressive in control. I wanted to keep it going, but It takes control of my clothing setting from lovers, and nudity does not always work right with it. A fantastic mod though. He finally I think in last ver. fixed the save game problem, I think he crashed a bunch of people OB install with that one.

 

I really wish I knew what to tell you, this mod still very beta, But I really did test it a lot before uploading this last time.

Some people play it no problem, and some can not even get past first Humiliation, and there are 5 as it is uploaded right now.

I just feel bad, I don't know what to tell people, if bug does not happen to me, I can not figure how to fix it.

I left many Printc, and all my script remarks in this last update, Hoping that might help some of the more astute to find there problems.

Oh, and I quit running xeo about a year ago, Not that I did not love most everything it did, but It messed up all my saves for one character, I had to go to a back up copy of OB I made before I installed it to get my character back. I would load a game, and MY character would be invisible with out Xeo.

 

It was frustrating, to be forced to run Xeo, or not play at all, My character is, and ever sense Morrowind always been a Breton. And Xeo if you ever noticed did something funny to the Breton's [not to mention messing up all My personal skins] when you make a new character you may see what I mean, is hard to explain [but when you are cycling through the race's after you pass the Breton, try going back to the Breton] I don't think any of the other Default races have that problem.

Ah no worries, it happens galgat =3 - but yea, I'll probably shut down cursed armor then, its a fun one for me, I do like it - but as you've said it does tend to try an hog OB, essentiually crashing it!

 

And I'll check out the Breton thing, I have way too many race mods at the moment I think, so gotta do abit of spring cleaning. Still just dont know WHY it crashes in the market, could be due to cursed armor, but I'll have to check.

Xeo never really caused me problems, I just got mad at it because I could not un install it, and keep my character. I really like what it does, I just don't want to get stuck with it again.. Or at leas t not today.

 

I ordered a new Comp, should be here soon with so much mor HD space, I might install a couple of versions of OB one with xeo, and another with out. and just change names on the folders to swap between them.

 

I have done this before. It is really quite easy, I had three versions when OB first came out, one for [bAb] bodies, and another for [EYE candy HGEC], and another for standard Bodies with nude patch.

Because at that time the best body HGEC had not quite beat out the others. My OB folder is conservative, but it is still way over 30 gig in size.

 

My new system will have a 1.5 terabit HD which should give me some breathing room.

 

I don't know if Cursed have anthing to do with it, It was only thing you mention that I knew might could cause a problem, But I am just saying maybe..I really don't know

Ah I used to do the same, but cant quite do it anymore - I have the space.

 

Anyhow, just tried to do the first humiliation act again with curse disabled, its frustrating me as I just cannot figure out what the hell is causing the crash when it comes to that first act, I can enter the market fine before then, just frustrating me at the moment, I'll probably end up disabling a bunch of race mods and armor mods. xD

Nice update! sorry for double post as well, anyway - managed to get to the first humiliation act, however! this means I'ma have to spend a good hour turning one thing on, seeing if it causes the crash, and so on - then perhaps I'll put it up an see if it causes crashes with anyone else =O

I have been testing with MB2 active, and the orgasm extra for it. so far that Has been okay for me,[but with the stalker it have potential to mess my mod up].. but don't activate stupidNPC or Joburg They rape my scripting in Imperial city. I am sure landE will be the same.

 

I have been trying some different setting on the escort packages, that seem to improve the offensive attack, they seem smoother during the stocks Plot.

 

I have been looking for things that might improve it some, but compatibility with other mods is always going to be there. No way to make mine work with every mod out there, and have it do right.

Hi, I've some problems to finish the lab mission: the springan can't go out/back in his cell.

(I had the same problem with the goblin, and I solved it with going near him, then having the anim start, and then he was able to go back to his cell: I tried to do the same with the spriggan, but he can't go back in the cell after raping PC)

The problem seems to be: slow creatures can't cross the little stairs of the cells gates.

 

It happen each time I try.

In this case clicking the mob, in the console "setav speed 255", doesnt solve your problem ?

(so, I open the console, select the creature and I tape "setav speed 255", is it right? I rarely use the console and don't know all the codes...)

 

(and how to cancel this operation? Be back to normal speed?)

yes i had a little problem with the goblin, but the sprig-an never caused me problem's.

 

I will speed them up a little, as they are unique characters in the game it will cause no problems in any other mod.

 

That room with all the gates was hard to build, the parts do not match. That is why so much dirt around the wall's to cover the gaps.LOL [be very careful if you try to edit in that room, it is a House of cards, and could get really wacky on you if you are not careful.]

 

I had to place door step stones at each of the gates so the Creatures could even get in, and out of there cell's.

 

Any way in next patch I will try to increase there speed some. I found them very slow also. I have also improved there packages, so they are less likely to need you to walk towards them to enable the next attack. I found this happened some too. But this all in next patch which is taking some time. It requires a lot of testing, and the test's because of the design of this mod take a long time.

 

The laboratory was something I had done in LoversCrowning isle, and wanted to expand on it, and see if I could improve the routine's. It also will if I do everything I want, play an important part in future update's. Which maybe will move the quest into shivering Isle some. Those of you that know the names of people there nay have already in the book's and things seen my references to to characters from shivering Isles.

I know exactly what you mean. There is something terribly addictive to a Galgat mod that you have to see what he will throw at your toon next. Both Blackmail and Crowning Isle have that quality that keeps you playing no matter what. I particularly like the episodic nature of each release, with each new chapter leaving one with a growing sense of anticipation. I've not encountered another modder who can present dramatic tension in quite that way.

Galgat, I love your mods. Your modding skills are insane. I have ONE request, though: Don't make me walk from Chorral to Leyawiin. Please?

 

I've played through Crowning Isle - brilliant.

 

I just made a new toon to toss through your GGBlackmail nightmare (a lovely young freckle-faced Nord...), and while walking from Bruma to Chorral is ok, the walk from Chorral to Leyawiin? Facepalm. Help me! I don't fast travel, so Chorral to Leyawiin is a CTD waiting to happen (depending on how long I've been playing). No, I HAVE to walk from Chorral to Leyawiin.

 

You make some of the best & most surprise filled mods, but bouncing from one end of Cyrodil to other is a tactic I didn't think you'd employ.

 

Forgive me if I'm out of line (and I DO love your mods - every new innocent girl I make has to get through Crowning Isle before she can fight monsters & bad guys for loot... You arrive in Anvil - you are going to Crowning Isle...), but now I have to walk from Chorral to Leyawiin. I might not meet the last "mother" for a few dozen hours.

 

I can't fast travel. I hate it. That would destroy the experience for me. I walk. I set up camp. I explore my immediate area and continue on my way. Chorral to Leyawiin, though. Damn, that is one long motorfinger walk.

 

Don't get me wrong - I LOVE your work. I'll do the walk. I won't like it and I'll have to kill a LOT of innocent people - but I'll get there.

 

I just bought some more soap and some apples. I have my tent and my campfire. I'm walking from Chorral to Leyawiin tonight. I'm only lvl one. Wish me well...

Lol, really a great work (increase the speed does the trick for the two beasts), it seems I finished the mod (I slept 1week and no update) and as many others I'm waiting for MORE!

(I noticed some missing textures on the ground in "the rival faction to Kovak", maybe you already knows it)

So far I've been through the third event, then bathed, but no matter how much I ask for rumors, my journal won't update anymore. It's been around two weeks gametime now. Is there a console command perhaps, to activate the next stage? I'm actually though my first complete walkthrough of Oblivion and I'd hate to reaload two weeks back. Tons of battles and quests there.

This is just a suggestion, and I know it's a bit late now, but with a mod like this which is still in development, it is always a good idea to create a special save using the console. You could then disable any mods which might cause conflicts. In fact you could strip eveything back to the barest essentials (simply by unchacking mods in, say, wrye bash and setting auto ghost), then clean saving and restoring only the mods that would either complement or at least not interfere/break the main mod you want. This is especially effect if you:

Keep a file called "CleanSave" and another rebuilt one called perhaps "Blackmail". Thus preserving your main game saves. You'd be surprised what you can live without in order to simply play this mod.. For me, I even disabled my bashed patch. It wasn't needed as I was running very few mods which did not conflict.

When you want to go back to your main game simply re-enable all your mods. You can, in fact, keep a whole library of game saves for various tryouts.

That is why I've been enjoying it so much. Well I guess I can disable it, make a clean save and restart the whole mod but MAYBE there's a shortcut to jumpstarting 4th event?

My suggestions were mostly due to the wip nature of this mod so that it interferes as little as possible with your main game (and your main game with it). Rebuild your bashed patch as needed. It makes life easier in the long run.

the third stage is with Caro, after that you go back and see Jack, then go around town and get rumor's until get update. from update should be 2 days sleep or wait.

 

The rumor's that update your quest are the one that say something like "that "Player" is a very naughty person indeed" in the upper left corner of the screen, then they goodbye right away with no extra topic's for you to choose, and if you have not already received the update you will see an update dialog right after that, also in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

 

Is very simple script to force the updates starts right after this.

those textures were covered in an earlier post, They were Bethesda test .nif, and had not textures for some people, for some reason I have textures on mine, I may have added them, or another mod did, but some people just did not have the textures. These pieces were use only in a Bethesda test map, which was never in the real game. so that is why you never noticed them before.

 

There is also a possibility that it is the version, or when you bought Oblivion. when Bethesda repackaged Oblivion in an Oblivion, and shivering Isle's together mod, I did notice that they left many of the downloadable content out of that Package.

 

Those of us that Bought Oblivion originally, and purchased those downloadable little Mods they made, and Shivering Isle's in a separate box actually have more in our installation than those that bought the latter Package.

 

I will have them fixed in the next update, I have replaced them with other piece's.
