Rumors play important part as the whole Idea of quest is to defame the Hero. I have not actually modded the players fame, it is more of Role Play thing. I do not like to mess with peoples hard earned stat's.

Many liberties with dog's in that mod, that will screw up a lot of mods. Most any mod that tries to use dog's will almost always have some conflicts with Lovers Bitch. I never keep it running, I do like Lovers Bitch very much, but it conflicts with many mods, or can cause conflicts. I have had it mess up many quest oriented mods, where animals somehow get close during a critical time in the mod. It is a wonderful mod, but it is very oppressive to other mods. Also many companion mods have the potential to mess up quest mod's. always best to leave them somewhere, before venturing to some areas of quests. I quit using companions some years back, they always caused me more trouble than help, and Having made many of them, I just don't have a lot of use for them anymore or they just don't thrill me that much. I can not stop all other mods from screwing something up. Yea I disabled loversbitch and it still had the knotting problem... But I played it again, thankfully the dog didn't knot so I could complete that quest, Which was amazing btw. One more question though... Where is that club located? I forgot and I saved over that quest. Thanks again for such an amazing mod!

I forgot and I saved over that quest. Thanks again for such an amazing mod! As these are sort of violent act's, the player forced to be a part of the humiliation. They are all flagged as rape. This also could cause you problems with many mods, animals if they are using a find package, sense they have no dialog, after a rape will attack you. This is un avoidable if the modder, and that includes me, used a find package on the animal. Find packages are not so much problem with NPC, but creatures, and especially Dog's are very prone to attacking people after sex if they engaged into the sex with a find package attached, and the sexual action is flagged as rape. I try to avoid find packages myself for this reason, but i do use them, because they will start a forced dialog with the Player when they find them, and this is very useful. For most sexual find the victim actions I use escort instead, or wander near which is also very good. Ambush can also cause this problem with Animals. I never really studied the companion set up that Lovers Bitch used. It may well have find packages attached. I just don't know. ### The club is in Leyawiin. but you don't get a key until you have completed that part of the quest. I have not enhanced the AI much there, I built it quickly for that Plot line, and have not had time to set up the bartender script's and such.

Ragged Robin Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Actually I found the entrance to the club is not on the surface but sunk below ground level. I found it next to the teleporter and managed to enter by typing tcl in the console and retyping again once inside. You can see where it is by using the local map. I'm sure it's an oversight that GG will fix in a later version. He moved up the release for reasons outlined in the OP, so the mod isn't as polished yet as his work usually is. Happy am I that he did so too!

They muck up all the land around where the city walls are at, and it is right next to the city wall. Or one of the beautification mods. I don't run any of those, I have had to many mods that got doors covered up or NPC's underground, things you were suppose to see that were not there from them. I know they are neat, but I like to play all mod's, and those are probably the most intrusive mod there is. I wish those people that make them were actually good enough to make there own land area's, and extent Oblivion, instead of cover it up. But that is to much work for them, it is easier to just swap a bunch of already built stuff around. I mean they would have to make NPC's and AI routines, and build cities, and ship's, and house interior's, would be really hard for them I guess.

And yes, the game would work more smoothly if other modders had the ability and attention to detail you have, not to mention imagination. On the topic of mod conflict, as you said, LandE conflicts significantly with GGBlackmail (just as LandE conflicts with lots of other things). However, I've encountered little conflict between your mod and Joburg's, maybe in part because I keep the Joburg settings conservative, for the most part. As I play your mod, I do increase the Joburg attacker/leader number to reflect the change in attitude of people in Tamriel toward my character with each of your quests. If I understand correctly, this change increases the chance of assault by people against my character. Thanks again, galgat, for your hard work.

I don't understand why it would be underground for you. I might have moved it accidentally when I swapped names and retested, before packing it up. I do my work on a version that I have a different name on. for modding reason's. If it is out of place somehow I will try to fix it in the next update. I might leave most of my comments in the scripts too to help people, I have been removing most of them, and the Printc functions to reduce size, and the printc can impact frame rate. I like a lot of the beautification mod's. It is just that they can really have and impact on some mods. As most modders tend to mod in vanilla OB to avoid bringing any unwanted Dependency to there mod. This means that any major changes to the Oblivion external area's can really impact things like trap doors, interior's can be covered up, but that does not happen real often [slave trader comes to mind the trap door in silver Bar'] . I like using those because they are about as unobtrusive and entrance that I can use in a Mod. But any, even minor change to the terrain has a good chance to cover them up. I might try putting a stone block there, and placing the trap door on top of that. ### Textures can make a big difference, if they set the scale high on the normal map, as to give the grass more texture. This will make the texture fatter, which could possibly hide a trap door. I use this normal map feature to give detail to things like stockings and gloves in clothing or armor, where with out my normal map you would not even see them [They would be to thin, and hide under the skin]. It can be very useful.

[/quote'] Yes that is the real ticket to running those mod's. keeping the strength or setting turned down. I have played all my mods with lovers magic on, but it is not easy.. I died a lot that way, and it messed up quests occasionally. which was really SuCkY. If you not doing a quest in my mod, for the most part you could run any of them, [long as and important NPC is not killed] it is only when you are actually doing a quest connected with my mod that the troubles will pop up. But I can not tell people its safe to play it with them, they will have troubles I am sure.

I had a bit of trouble with the dog animations but I adjusted the load order and everything went perfectly. I paid for DLC's that weren't this interresting. Thanks for all your hard work. Load order is (sometimes) everything.

The guy in the base hall gave me a quest to meet the mothers. So I met them and turned back to him. And I had to meet a doctor in living area. Maybe I missed a texture file. I'm sure I installed correctly. But I don't know why that thing happens. [/quote'] this is strange, you did start with a new save, I mean you did not start with a save from 0.01 version did you. I doubt they will be compatible, as I changed many of the root elements from 0.01 to 0.02. The apron is just a standard apron from oblivion textures and Nif files. So if you are missing it, then something is not right about your install. Or has maybe been removed.

Is there somewhere else I need to find something? Did I accidentally reinstall the old version? I used a clean save. I hear people talking about stocks and finding mothers... haven't gotten to any of that. last thing I did was the sperm-sharing kiss....
galgat Posted April 1, 2012 Author Posted April 1, 2012 You talk to the mother's then talk to jack mog in the Kovak base, then you have to talk to the mothers again, and see that the girls have been returned. the go back to Gottshaw Inn through the trap door behind it. Talk to jack mog, he sends you to DR. Kildare who is in the living area of Kovak base. then talk to Jack again. Now you wait 3 days. then jack Mog will call you back having decided what he want to do now. This should begin the first Plot of you humiliation. Just to be sure the sperm sharing Kiss is not in my mod, that is part of dark lessons I think.

Then, this guy walks my char in imperial city, she gets in stocks, but - he has like 3000 Sp, it takes him about 30 minutes in real time to finish. And after that - my character just stays in stocks. I tried waiting, but nothing happens... Any help would be much appreciated. You might try moving my mod way down toward the bottom, next to lovers with PK. or even all the way down to your Bash patch, I never use bash patch or Boss, But I understand some people get away with it for awhile. Your problem with my mod is to much for me to unravel..I am SoRrY. I can not be much help. I just don't run many of the mods you have loaded, so I am not at all familiar with them, and how they all work. Maybe someone else will see who enjoys those mods and help you out. I think I have some of them downloaded, with intentions of trying them someday, but just to many of them I have never run. ;********EDITED*************** One thing I did see that I think will surely cause trouble is Lovers with PK Extender.esp, this I have never really ran, but it does deal I think with the person's stamina, or stats some during sex, this will probably not be a good thing with any of my mod's. for one thing it may get you killed, and another is it has the potential to lock a person in a Lovers motion loop, controlling when you leave the loversPK act, can easily disrupt any loversPK callback script which is the backbone of many loversPK mods. which is very bad.

I know it sucks but you will probably have to do what I did and trim your mods down,Better Cities and OOO mods seem to not play well with Lovers mods for various reasons.If you could live without those then you would probably not have many issues.I'm not sure if the landscape mods you have would be compatible or not since some Lovers mods add caves and such that might conflict.I have the ones I think might conflict made into OMOD's and deactivate them when I play my "Lovers Oblivion" profile then active when I play "Regular Oblivion" profile.
afa Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 So, I have been trying this out, and I am having some issue pretty early on: For the first assignment: Got teleport to Imperial City and started first part of public sex no problem, eventually got release and force walk to Talos Plaza, still get sex a few times in Talos Plaza, but eventually no one comes by for sex anymore, every now and then there will be insulting comments but never actual sex, I waited a few days but nothing ever happens still in stocks. How are the ends of these two parts trigger? [/quote'] This was my thinking exactly, so I disabled Extender mod and tried again. And it worked, sort of. Only sex act takes about 1,5 seconds now - could probably tweak this in lovers settings. The guy (Baggar?) walked my char to three locations in IC, and random people started to bang her. Sometimes I'd have to "wait" for an hour before somebody would stumble upon her, but mostly it was smooth. Then in Arboretum, for some reason no one would come close enough, and I couldn't wait - apparently there was "an enemy nearby". I reloaded from previous location - this time people would actually come in the right direction So I suppose disabling Lovers Extender did the trick, but - what should happen after character is released? I was told that mafia will "keep in touch", but couldn't find any specific rumors and the journal wasn't updated so far. Where should I look for rumors? Anywhere? In IC specifically? I REALLY like both OOO and better cities, and I don't think they really mess up Lovers mods all that much. So far it is usually either load order or missing/corrupted files that get me in trouble.

Gosh I hope not." That is from the Journal NOTE: "He also said to check around for Rumor's about me" That is important. NOTE: If you have a mod that overhauls Rumor's and takes control of them, then you will probably never get and update. This I have no control over when people take over control of the normal game functions, they make a different game than the one I am modding. Rumors are handled in OB like this every 24 hour or once every day and NPC picks a rumor randomly from the list of rumors. and will not change that rumor until the next day. so you may have to talk with many NPC or just a few until you find the one that updates the quest. You will find that you have been a very naughty Girl, and all of Tamriel is talking about you, and your risque way's. The one's that say something about the lady Hero, and then say goodbye with no follow up dialog are the ones that will update the quest. [ I have covered this in previous Parts of this thread, I bet if you took the time to read all of it, you will find many of your problems have already been talked about, and maybe answered.] after that it will be about 2 days and you will receive another call from Jack, but this time limit is not written in stone. They may vary as the quest progresses. and there will in future updates, be other people contacting you as well. Patience and quest playing is the only way to get everything from this mod. It will not just fall in your lap and happen. You have to do a little of the actual normal thing's that you do in an RPG, talk to people. explore, ask questions when the right dialog pops up. Read all journal updates closely. Have fun, it was not intended to be and overpowering force you to do this quest all at once. you can receive order's from Kovak, and ignore them until you are ready to go, just as most quest's allow you. All quest's make it seem urgent that you run right over and talk to some one, but for the most part you may go when ever you are ready. If I ever truly force a timed situation in one of my mod's I will do my best to inform you that you have to hurry on this one.
