Yes, nudemods for the Xbox One/Xbox 360 version exist already since long. But you rarely see pictures of it, basically the only source is xboxiso with their "remove checksum" thread.

Console/PC comparison - Console has been given exclusive use of The Soft Engine, which, as we all know, adds more natural jiggles to breasts, a more natural look to skin textures, and an overall boost to graphics in general. The PC has been given 4k textures, Anti-Aliasing, and of course...moddability. No tool was released to modders (very unsurprising), but as you may have noticed above, while I was sleeping, the first night after the game's release, there is already a nude mod made for DOA5LR.

2 little things, if you would indulge me. ;)

First, the PC version does not have 4k textures, the texture resolution is still the same low-res the consoles have. It does have 4k support in the sense that the display resolution can be set to 3840 x 2160, but that does not upscale the textures and shader effects themselves.

Second, and that is purely my personal opinion mind you, I do not think that some lame nude mods are a suitable compensation for missing out on the overall quality increase (subtle as it may seem) the Yarakawa Engine brings to the table.

Suggesting people to buy a game based on mods that may or may not happen is questionable in my opinion, btw.

And before you ask, no, I do not consider nude mods worthwhile at all. If we were talking about changing the physics, completely redoing every single texture in the game to actual high-res, adding costumes, changing or adding fight locations, adding shader effects... now that would be mods that would be worthwhile most likely. But I honestly don't think something like that will happen. Nude mods are likely the only thing that will happen. And I couldn't care less about them.

But then, I am comparing the PS4 version to the PC version... and that match is clearly won by the PS4 (as mentioned earlier, with the sole exception of better AA on the PC).

Well, to each their own. For somebody who already owns the PS4 version, the PC version clearly was a step backwards.

Well, unfortunately for me, my game slows down horrendously during gameplay, being basically unplayable, so...

Yeah, I guess I'm gonna have to just stick around on the X360 until I get a better computer.

And if I even turn shadows on at all, my game constantly runs at, what, 5 FPS. Not having shadows destroys the game's overall look IMO.

So yep, thanks to TN spending zero effort whatsoever on optimization, I can't even run the game. It's not like the game's graphics are out of this world or anything...So much for waiting an entire month...

The Natural, Doa and OMG settings for the boobs are still there. When online works for this, I'll give you guys a lil taste of an ass whoopin. (;
These people are Japanese and know video games very well. I more than know all of the key features will be implemented back in. So far, the online thing I don't see within the game is Online-play and controller vibration. I do realize the clothes for a couple characters don't rip. But I have yet to even see what that looks like. And not something I personally crave unless I will see some actually titties lol.

Update: After reading the missing features, it's quite ridiculous. It doesn't bother me because I never expected a PC version of Dead or Alive. I'm also quite thankful they didn't stall on the release regardless if it was beta or not. They kept their promise, unlike 'Rockstar'.
They're a good company and an update will be released by the time that it would've delayed to.

OMG is not there. It gives Off, Natural and DOA only.

You unlock OMG same way as the console versions

Yep. :) Of course, settings do you no good if the engine is missing.

OMG looks the same on Soft Engine... the bounce level for Soft Engine is LR (which obviously isn't selectable here).

Also checking steamdb and it looks like the Senran Kagura costumes are coming without destruction... which is likely due to no Soft Engine.

Can you get something that displays a frame count and see what it actually says?

His graphic card just can't run it.

Right, it seems I'm completely wrong.

According to FRAPS, the game runs at 60 FPS normally, but sometimes drops to 30-ish.

However, there's RIDICULOUS amounts of slow down sometimes. Like, almost unplayable. This is mostly present in Command Training and Combo Challenge, but it seems there isn't so much slow down in Free training, albeit this is all in the Dojo, so I can only imagine what other stages do.

My CPU is around 30% usage and RAM about 40%.

So...Yeah. This time I'm using shadows (1024x1024 quality), no AA, fullscreen with 1280x768 resolution.

Edit: Well I'm gonna buy a new computer at...SOME point, so it doesn't really matter I guess. But this computer of mine is still not *that* bad...

...On another note, is there anywhere I can find any.."You know what" mods for Ultimate on the 360...? I can only find some for vanilla...

The game drops to 30 during cutscenes and in menus. Otherwise it should be a solid 60. (I did have a drop when the camera was next to a breakable wall though)

Waiting for a nude patch for Christie although I suppose she'll be hard due to her costume being full body.

I think she has a swimsuit that allows a fully nude version.

Do I have to add an new/redone alpha mask to the specular to get transparency to clothes?

Update: Trying to get Hitomi nude btw, I have a hair recolor. Looks very proper.

But I doubt others want a blonde Hitomi. I'll get ridiculed probably lol.

Makes her nurse/maid outfits like no other though (and those aren't my thing)

Update: For those who do want it, I'll just make and include in a hair recolor pack.

Also, does anyone expect standalone mods to be implemented?

Regardless of online?

Or does that break the game?

Yeah, sorry. I confused the two there. I really should stop posting online early in the morning when I didn't have my coffee yet. ^_^"
