Hello, very nice mod you create!

 

i tried a few weeks htese mod, but by your last version, i have a texture failure by all female forsworn npc´s, Only KATALIA is correct.

The bug, or failure : i can see female faces and fingers, but nothing else more. Armor and weapons are ok.

myself i use PSB / cbbe body texture.

The female npc, who give me the QUEST START is also correct.

maybe you or other player can help me.

 

sry for my bad english...school is looooong time ago ;)

You get violet squares, right ?

Did you installed correctly the texture archive ?

 

My forsworns dont use particular bodies, but all mod armor meshes are for CBBE bodies.

No violent squares, the npc´s are invisible, only head (face) and hand(fingers) i see.

i wonder, that your start npc in Riverwood inn and Katalia are correct, these 2 npc´s are ok, like all other npc´s in my game. 

The 1st incorrect female is by the tent, after escape from the prison of east trading company.

 

I played several other visions of your mod in the past, and i had never such mistakes.

Maybe some player can gice me a insperation, how to fix it, but i think its not  a problem of my game.

Sounds like missing textures, or faulty textures. Similar problem to the purple stuff.

 

Google "invisible armor" bug on Google. There's a lot there.

I´m sooooo noob and stupid, omg - you are right, i did´not copy the texture and meshes files from this last version, only copy the core files.

now all works fine :shy:

I'd like to say this storyline is amazing, the outfits, the settings, the shaman stuff, the forsworn quests, are all great fun.  (as is your other mod From the Deeps, which I also really like).  I hope you craft many more quest mods like these two in the future once these are done.

 

Bad news, is I'm having problems with two quests. which appear to be bugs.

 

In the shaman's 'Way Quest' things go odd when I pick one of the three ways to follow:

 

 

  • Primal: teleported to 'teacher' but companion stands still, with the quest marker on her, and doesn't do anything.  If I talk to her, she just has the default conversation option.  The teacher is stood in a tent nearby, but also doesn't move or have any converstion options for the quest.  Tried waiting, and tried porting the two npcs next to each other, but the quest just doesn't not seem to go any further.
  • Koldun: conversation with teacher happens, and can progress to the interaction with the 'hunger'.  But when I get the quest about the hunger, I also get a quest note for werewolves (which seems to be from one of the other quest arcs, primal or hagraven, but when I finish with the hunger animations, it marks both quest points as completed.  Don't seem to be able to go any further than that though, as nothing else happens and when I try talking to anyone there, I just get the default conversation options.
  • Hagraven: teleported to 'teacher' and  given mission to allow companion to 'split' the girl and burn the boy alive.  The animation plays between the girl and companion, but there does not seem to be any option to burn the boy to death, could not find anything to click on to do this, and when I talk to the boy, he just wants me to turn him invisible.  I tried using fire spells to burn him, but he takes no damage and ignores the attacks.

 

 

 

In the 'A Sibyl for the old gods' I run into a problem too:

 

 

When you find the new Sybil in the Forsworn base, you have two options as to what kind of ritual it will be.  I have selected both and get the following problems.  

 

  • Primal: This ritual site has dead animals, a living troll, and a big blue swirly effect over the top of the ritual area.  I get almost to the ritual site, about 50ft before it, and it pings that I have delivered the sibyl, and the computer takes over my character, making me turn round and stand still.  At this point Dorna, starts hurling spells at the girl you bring to the ritual, and keeps putting her down, only for her to get back up (guessing she's set for immortal). All the time I am frozen and cannot move or interact.
  • Koldun: This ritual, has a load of Forsworn stood around in a semi-circle in front of the ritual area, and then as I approach, what I assume is an enslaved sister of Dibella runs off shouting for help, as the forsworn attack her.  This seems to stop the rest of the scene playing out, as nothing else happens after that, and none of the forsworn I have tried talking to, have any ritual conversation options, just the default ones.

To me, it looks like these two ritual site layouts are the wrong way around, if nothing else.

Primal : its the scene triggers... It should be fixed now.

Hagraven : idem for beginning.

Koldun : its the hook. We have a new one, i hope it will work.

Burn the boy is simple : burn it (flamme spell). You can also just put a sword into his head. In vanilla game, you cant kill kids... you need a plugin for that : "killable children". On nexus.

I will had it on the Mod topic.

Koldun... i see. I need to qdd to Fjotra a forsworn friend faction (Hagraven are hostile to Dibella faction members). The player cant move problem should be solved now.

Primal : why plenty of deads animals ? They are supposed to be alive... we need them for raping Fjotra.

I've had the same issue, except I only tried the primal option so far. I faast travel to Karthspire redoubt and walk into the village until the last ramp before you'd meet the hagraven and the objective completes and I freeze while Fjotra stands there. Also have a dead troll. No blue in the sky though.

 

Edit: I tried jumping down into the hagraven area, but the quest doesn't update and the animals are dead. The sabrecat is attacking a dibellan priestess slave and Mena. I assume the cat killed the animals too.

Ravena quest is still in working.

It's on the mod page.

 

Use the console to end the quest.

 

I went into this quest line without realizing it was bugged and I would just ignore it and do other quests but im stuck as Ravena's slave, and she has all my stuff! Do I have to start over or can you tell me a command that will end this questline?

 

To clerify i'm on the quest -

 

Ravena Must Leave!

Objective: I'm supposed to guide them to Reachcliff Cave - Somewhere to the south...

Can you made an update.

 

Whe plyqer is bvreton, and when player choose to become forsworn, the script add the player to Druadachredoubtfaction.

 

Add a line : playerref.addtofaction(AFSFriendForswornFaction) and add the faction property.

Hello everyone,
one quick question: at the end of the "a new shaman, last trial" quest, Thusnelda says that you should come back later for the ritual. Since the quest ends there and no quest starts and there are no new dialogue updates I wanted to ask if this is normal and realy just a matter of time. 

I'm sorry if this was asked before.

Edit: I tried the setstage command but it said that the quest parameter is not found. It seems like my version is somehow broken or missing something. I will just redownload it and start from scretch, I will let you know how it turns out.

Thusnelda get a new dialogue line : time for the ceremony.

When you ask to her this question,a dn when its time, the quest will begin.

well, seems like I ran into a problem there since I have no new dialogue option, i just double checked. Is there a way to proceed in the quest without it, a setstage command maybe?

Thanks for the help.

Maybe it's a single conflict with another mod or something. Next playthough I will go with the other tribe and see if the problem reappears, I will keep you updated.

Ok, I made some test runs, unfortunatly without any improvements;

I completly reinstalled the mod, new file download and new installation. I played up to the point with the ceremony multiple times, with marses and sekambre character. Every single time the problem is the same: The quest last trials ends on the note that I should return later, but no new dialogue option for the next quest does not appears. I tried the setstage command you gave me "afsshamanceremony 0" which appeared to be wrong, "the quest parameter can not be found". After some testing around in the consol I found out it's supposed to be "afs2shamanceremony" but that won't help proceeding either. I can use the full command (setstage afs2shamanceremony 0) and nothing happens; No response from the consol, no response ingame. The code seems to be right but there is still no reaction. My last idea is to deactivate as much mods on my list as possible to see if there may be a conflict even though I doubt it.

Any other ideas?

No dialogues on Thusnelda... ?

I dont know... everything seems correct and work in my build... the problem is I cant add a debug dialogue if the quest dont launch in your build.

 

The quest is AFS2ShamanCeremony. Try stages 10 and 20.

Note : there is a conditionnal on this quest : AFS2Newshaman2 must be completed.

I will remove it, and add a sentence on stage 0. Maybe it will solve your problem.

Because this one looks quite suspicious. I just looked at it: After I talk to thusnelda it finishes, and this was the enitrety of the quest. The description says: thusnelda thinks I'm ready; I should talk to her later. There is only the single objective to talk to her and afterwards it sits like this in the category of finished quests. Is that intended?

Yes, it's that quest.

 

And yes, it was intended : there is a possibility to short this quest (It's the first and only censure option in AFS).

No. It's just a moveto script, nothing more.

In fact, you're not really blindfolded : there is no DD or ZAZ dependance, no space modfier apllied, its just a moveto.

 

Problem shouls come from the modifications you have on Lost Valley redoubt (the destination).

Or maybe you dont copy all the scripts... check all the AFS1 tagged scripts in your folder, please.

randomly silly question, before i re-download. LL is saying the mod was updated a lil bit ago, the changelog says its 1.75.... but the download files still show 1.74, -has- it been updated to 1.75 yet?
