-alpha- Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 So testing out the new 1.65 and the reset body scales kinda made things worse for me. Done a clean install and a save game script clean just to be sure. Loaded up the new version. checked all the right boxes save game. relaunch when to reset body scales. bang... 8 year old. it reset everything to on the torso to pretty much 0 Overriding things like milkmod and SOS. Using equipable schlongs (not the full sos females) and the scale is so small her schlong looks like a 3D mesh clit. (lol)the legs scale didnt seem to reset as my PC's ass and thighs are still larger and the feet still clips into the ground. I tried reseting my PC's scale and weigh no change. Setting the scales in Racemenu changes little to nothing. If I disable NIO in milk mod the breasts scales back to the normal size. If enabled they return to washplank.

So using DDEdit I managed to get the breasts and schlong to the correct size. But I cant seem to get the feet clipping into the ground issue sorted. Which node do you think would I have to check and reset the scale of?

The reset button will just pick up the minimum scales in your DD Edit config and set them to the minimum, so if you have a bunch of stuff in there that scales to 0.1 it will scale them down to 0.1. However I should probably have added a clear all overrides button too along side that one. Gonna see what I can do. For now if you dont find the NiOverride to work for you just uncheck the Use NiOverride box and it will go back to using Ni.
Etheri Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 Default settings are as follows: NPC R Breast (Min 0.05,Max 3.6,Change Speed 1)Same for L Breast NPC GenitalsBase (Min 0.1, Max 2.0,Change speed 1)NPC R Butt (Min 0.75,Max 1.15,Change speed 1)same for L Butt. Go to SL Deadly Drain/Tools and open DDEdit.exe and then select the config file called: PhysicalDrain.json inside of SL Deadly Drain/SKSE/Plugins/SLDDI accidentally added the test configs in there too I see.
-alpha- Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 After a bit of trial and error (with some hilarious results) I think I got mine to the way it should be. I set the Thigh nodes to 0.95 and that fixed the clipping issue. All other body parts are just the way they should be. Another thing I noticed when trying to reset the scales with ddedit. I alt+tab to make a change in ddedit, then go back to skyrim and reset the body data. This works but not really. It will work the first time you reset the body data. but after that you have to reload your save then reset body data to see the new changes.

Yeah I think once it's loaded it will not grab it from disk anymore it probably caches it. Will check if there is a way to make it always load from disk. It's using JsonUtil.
Recoilsuave Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I'm having serious issues with the release version of DD. It's causing insane stuttering and eventually a character's body will disappear. Every time a body disappears, I'm forced to save because in the next few seconds, BOOM CTD! This did not happen with the test version just before the release version. In fact, the pre release version was incredibly stable.

Recoilsuave Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I'm using auto drain, not manual drain.

I got around it by not holding the drain button. Just press it every few seconds instead of holding it. I think I know what might be causing that, the reason for it is the weight morphing. The UpdateWeight function causes the whole player mesh to be reloaded and seem to be causing the stuttering when I tested it, It only happened once and it never crashed, the character went invisible. I thought I fixed it by limiting the weight. But if you don't use body slide just remove the "Weight" node in DD Edit or uncheck the Update button for the Weight node and it should stop happening.
Recoilsuave Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I used bodyslide to create my bodies, but did you mean checking off the racemenu morph sliders when building the bodies? Because that I have not done.
Etheri Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 No meant in DD edit for the "Weight" node uncheck the update box. But that means it wont update in real time sadly But skyrim is shit when it comes to doing morphing and stuff in real time :|
Saeros Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 ok, I have installed PSQ and my female character is a succubus (PSQ level 3). I disabled "kill by drain" in PSQ menu (I prefer use your "ALT-R" Deadly Drain option to kill people or creatures)... now the strange thing: PSQ allows the succubus to feed in sneak-mode.. when I try to feed in this manner (for example with my overexcited horse ), after orgasm the horse dies.. ..but i never pressed the deadly "ALT-R" hotkey.. I'm doing something wrong (settings) or is an incompatibility between the two mods? (my SLDD settings) S.

When I switched to using the SL events. Thanks for reporting ^^ It's likely the ordering of the damage events. PSQ is going to leave the enemy at very low health if draining is enabled, the damage in PSQ occurs at the end of the animation. Usually the NPC will be fine for a second and then fall over dead.
Swiftstep Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 First of all: thanks for the mod, and thanks to Vivi for her beautiful artwork. Could it be made possible to add a feature comparable to the "amaranth feeding" of better vampires - skill absorption with the draining effect. Please excuse me if I'm mistaken - I'm struggling with my memory whether I've seen this somewhere or not. Hm, the idea is to create a gameplay where you could level and do quests without using another weapon but the heroes body. In a matter of speaking Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I go enabling my papyrus log and searching some strange errors...

Thanks I have started working on a quest/rpg mod for DD. There has been some stuff posted about it. I pretty much have a design document, I'm not willing to share anything yet, but I can assure you would not be disappointed in the planned feature list. It does involve things like skill absorption and other forms of draining. ok, I have installed PSQ and my female character is a succubus (PSQ level 3). I go enabling my papyrus log and searching some strange errors... It could be the ordering of the damage events, it dosent matter if kill is turned off if DD does victim.DamageAV("Health", victim.GetActorValue("Health") - 10) so leave 10 HP on the victim after feeding. And then at the same time PSQ does it's damage they might over damage, if you check the Health of the horse afterwords? if it's -10 or something. I think I can fix it, but limited access to development tools atm.
Swiftstep Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Normally I'd just give you a "like", but I'm out of votes. Therefore: thanks very much for your answer. Looking forward to it. The game needs an alternative playing style that gives the SL mods a new meaning. Yay!
foreveraloneguy Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I wanted to take a look at the scripts to see if I can maybe spot why scaling the pelvis causes the entire lower body to scale, but the source isn't included in the mod. Any chance you could include that?
-alpha- Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I've noticed that the orgasm timer is broken or not being disabled properly. if set timer to 0 the last stage will end immediately.
txzeenath Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 It could be the ordering of the damage events, it dosent matter if kill is turned off if DD does victim.DamageAV("Health", victim.GetActorValue("Health") - 10) so leave 10 HP on the victim after feeding. I think I can fix it, but limited access to development tools atm. Using an NPC which had 1 health, they were left with -8 and died. Relevant PSQ code: If DamageHealth >= Target.GetActorValue("Health") If KillAtDrain(PlayerIsVictim, PlayerIsAggressor) KillVictim Else DamageHealth = Target.GetActorValue("Health") - 1 EndIf EndIf Which is called by Event PSQOrgasmEnd(String HookName, String ArgString, Float ArgNum, Form Sender) Hooked Event RegisterForModEvent("OrgasmEnd", "PSQOrgasmEnd") Testing in the console, DamageActorValue treats all numbers as absolutes. So -10 seems like a bad value to use, as it has the ability to kill anything with 5 or less health. -1 ensures they won't die unless they have less than one health already. If a "buffer" is desired, perhaps just apply a 9 health heal to the target after the drain. or if Victim.GetActorValue("Health") > 10 then Victim.DamageAV("Health",Victim.GetActorValue("Health")-10) else Victim.DamageAV("Health",Victim.GetActorValue("Health")-1) endif So targets starting at high health won't be dropped into a danger area

You didn't read the code correctly, it's gonna damage the actor with a buffer of 10 HP left. since it's Damage = (Current Health - 10). Meaning if HP is 5 it would damage a value of -5 which should be no damage at all (or healing). Unless damage is a variable that overflows which it probably isn't but could be. DD hooks the sexlab ResetEvent for the death of the actor tho. So it's weird that it would die right after orgasm. I can break the variable out and check then give it a test when I'm back home after new years. I think its because PSQ buffers the damage value, and then DD does it's calculations takes down the HP (in one line) and then PSQ goes and damages with it's cached damage value which is incorrect now because DD updated the health value. But we will see Thanks for looking at it.
