since this is a non adult mod, I am not sure if you are open to suggestions like this.. but have you thought about doing an integration/addon for sexlab?

So that animations played could add to the dirtyness level. Maybe with multipliers for different types of animations.. or being able to remove the cum-effect-texture by bathing? or reduce visual effects from apropos wear and tear?

just some ideas..

anyways, great mod! finally i am able to really use these bathtubs from "realistic room rental". loving it :)

SexLab integration is definitely something I'll consider, but I want to get through most of the major development before I start that process - probably some time soon after 1.05 unless some really awesome requests/ideas come in for new features, or I have some epiphany or something. I have never worked on integrating anything with SexLab though, so it might be a slow road to travel.

I second this idea, I tried doing that with my followers using the nexus version you recommended.. But the cum didn't come of, it seems to be set on a timer.  The only thing I don't like about the nexus version is that you have to basically enable each npc individually through dialogue, how hard would it be to have npc automatically get dirty and bathe, without the player having to tell each one to do it themselves? But don't get me wrong, this is the best mod out there that incorporates a hygiene system.

Not sure if it's been reported but I'm getting some stack errors. I only noticed them as I occidentally left the logging on, they don't seem to be doing any harm though

Have you tried the 1.05beta6 available from Nexus?  Many have noted a lot less (nearly none) entries in the papyrus log.  You may have to test with a new character/save.

Many thanks, I'm just starting a new game so I'll give it a try

EDIT:

There's a problem with the beta it's trying to overwrite a SL script (ActorUtil.pex and ActorUtil.psc)

EDIT2:

Just checked both scripts and they are the same thing

Good mod, but I am not a fan of the -50% disease resist. Vampires and werewolves are supposed to be immune to disease, but now mine get sick when I forget to take a bath. It's driving me insane, and will likely lead to me having to uninstall this mod despite liking all of its other features.

You can change it easily if you're happy using CK. I changed mine to debuff sneak instead of health

Here is a preview of where I'm at with follower support:

You can turn dirt tracking on/off for a follower through dialog options and the tracking is separate from the player. If you dismiss a follower, the tracking will automatically stop the next time the script updates. Followers can get the same dirt special effects that the player can get and you can also ask a follower how dirty they feel.

You can order your follower to bathe or you can both bathe together. He gets his own animations options page in MCM with the same options as the player, so you can give him his own animation style, loop counts, equipment slots, etc totally separate from the player. If you tell him to bathe, he has to have soap in his inventory (which he will use) and be standing in water or he will complain about it and do nothing.

I think this should work with follower overhauls, but I'm just starting to test that out now.

Do you guys have any other features in mind? Let me know what you think.

1.The two sceen looping combined female animation (the one that has the hands washed firstly and then the legs (1st animation) and the one that has the butt and the breasts washed (2nd animation), is it a new feature?I have v. 1.04 installed and there is no option available in the mods MCM menu to combine different bathing animations in looping sequence-combos.If it's an upcoming feature then that's great!

2.It would be great if there was a way to have an add-on where the PC and/or NPCs would have wet/sweaty skin effect while in water or under a waterfall (or any source of water that can be used for bathing) and soon after till the body is dried out.Such a feature would add alot especially in combination with the 'wet and cold' and/or 'frostfall' mods that add to PC water dripping when wet.

3.An option to have a bath when it rains! It would be nice to have that when in the wilderness and away from pools/streams/rivers/lakes etc

4.An option for a hotkey for having a bath despite the fact of having/or not having a soap (there could be an option where the bathing under the lack of soap foam results in just the decreasing of dirtyness and full cleanliness when bathing with soap)

5.It would be nice to have the foam on face reduced/removed and have some on the hair (if possible, probably not due to great variaty of hair meshes)!

Edit

And please add a mod version in the mod's page name for easier update tracking :)

I second this. Can you add the ability to bathe without soap and just not give soap bonuses? If that's not enough, maybe also limit the cleaning to 75%? (so 20% dirty washes to 5% dirty)

It seems a bit silly that my character could be standing in a lake full of clean water but can't take a bath because there's no soap. It's like not being able to quench your thirst in a lake because you don't have an empty bottle...!

Also, I may want to save the soap if I just want my character to wash off blood or other stuff.

This is in the beta, along with showering in waterfalls (and support for animal fat from Hunterborn for making (less) soap).  Hopefully we shall see it in a non-beta soon.  :)

All the hard work is greatly appreciated.

Hope its not to late for more suggestions.

As I can only imagine running about in thick leathers or steel can get a bit hot and sweaty after awhile, would it be possible to toggle a increase in the dirtyness accumulation whenever wearing anything than regular clothes.

This would also serve a purpose other than for "immersive roleplaying reasons" to remove armors whenever walking around in ones home/city.

+1 from me, it would give a great reason to wear clothing rather than armour all the time

For better immersion, it'd probably have to hook into Frostfall. If it's in the cold northern regions, thick leather armor is probably perfectly comfortable and preferable to cloth.

That'd be a decent amount of scope creep. I'm wondering if the mod author is even still active. MIA for about a month from here and nexus.

"You can change it easily if you're happy using CK. I changed mine to debuff sneak instead of health"

Would be very interesting in this "patch", but haven´t any experience with the CK. Is there a way to change this with TES5edit?

I've no idea I'm afraid, I've only ever used TES5edit to track down mod clashes. I'd offer you a copy of mine but I'm not sure if the mod author would allow it as it's his/her original work not mine, I just changed a few things

Would it be possible to add an optional MCM feature, that everytime you rest in an Inn or at home, the PC becomes clean again? Assuming that the PC uses the resting-time to also pursue his/her personal hygiene?

All player homes and many or most inn rooms have the wash-basins to make that lore-friendly.

Resting outside the PC would remain the level of dirtiness.

I'm making this suggestion because I find it inpractical that when resting at home, i have to run outside and find a pool of water to bath.

I know that there is the mod called interactive water basins, that mod however alters many Locations in Skyrim, i'm avoiding it as this can lead to incompatibilites.

You could try this mod, not quite what you're asking for but I find it useful and in keeping with Skyrim

Yup this mod is dead

Please investigate before making blanket USELESS statements.  The mod author updated the 105beta version back in Februrary (2 mos ago).  So, nope, not dead.  The author just has real life to contend with, just like everyone else.
