Benny says a bunch of things during sex and then immediately falls asleep afterwards, which is not something a Sexout animation call can handle. What do you think is broken about the companion mod?

Well Cass is still broken but I hear there's nothing anyone can do about that. I loaded up a female save and it worked with Veronica. I guess everything worked out in the end. Truth be told when you told me to post my loadorder I went back and fixed up it lol, maybe that sorted everything out. Either way I didn't realize you're the one who made blackout and companions. I know you're the guy who pretty much picked up wsex_tryouts when the original guy stopped working on it (or are you the original guy?) but since it turns out you're the guy who's been providing me with about 90% of my sexout fix I'll give you $10 a month. I would like it though if you went back and updated the mods for more male PC interactions.

Hopefully if this Patreon thing really takes off and I can make it my full time job, there will more opportunity. One of the things I have on the drawing board is kidnapping various NCR women to help the Legion - that's something that would definitely have a lot of male content. I plan a revisit to the Companions thing - there's a lot of room for improvement and a TTW version should be made, too.
fido11 Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Since I'm donating a bit I thought I'd just list some ideas I'd like (not in any order) Legion - After killing Mr. House, Caesar grants Male PC a tent with two slavegirls. - 1 slave girl provides some water and food everyday, the other scavenges for ammo and parts - ammo girl can also repair equipment while food girl is a vendor with limited caps (implied she goes out and sells things for you) - both obviously provide sexual serivces Powder Gangers - Walk of Shame: You basically become Sunny's pimp, powder gangers approach male pc the same as female except you trade Sunny for scrap metal or other trinkets. - Powder Gangers quests can be solved by whoring sunny instead of yourself. - Assault on NCR CF can be avoided by whoring sunny out to the NCR troops. - Generally a more fleshed out Sunny Smiles companion who more or less becomes your prostitute. Khans - Trading drugs for sex? I dunno. - Maybe a brawl feature, where you can challenge female Khans, and if you win they reward you with sex. Kings - Females in freeside, westside area could approach you when wearing Kings outfit and try to become groupies by giving you gifts and sex. NCR - Maybe have NCR prostitues walking around Camp MCCarran. Workinggirl - Whoring companions at the casinos - prostituting companions/followers through smallertalk Fiends - trade drugs for a solo show or sexy dance - use companions or Sunny as tribute to motorunner to force fiends friendly. Companions - Bisexual Veronica? I just think she's more useful than Cass. I'm not too big of a fan of adding new quests with lots of running around and fetch quests. I prefer mods that enhance the original New Vegas experience. But it's up to you, and how you use your time.
Loogie Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 Just some feedback: - I like your Legion idea, but that's not something that has to necessarily be hooked to Tryouts. - I'm digging using Sunny as a surrogate through the Tryout sequence for males. I'll queue it up for things I'm working on - I'll make a Patreon post outlining that later. - Fallout doesn't have a brawl mechanic like Skyrim does, so brawling with the Khans isn't feasible. Trading sex for drugs is logical and a small addition. - Not sure how I'd work the Kings thing without the scanner tripping over itself, but I'll see what I can do. - NCR hookers wandering around NCR secure areas is such an obvious thing I don't why I didn't think of it. It would also be a great thing to do with some NCR slave girls if you opt to free them from the Legion and they don't want to be fighters anymore. - I've played male characters prostituting female companions in the casino and using the scanner. It ended up being a lot less fun than it sounds, because you're standing there while a bunch of people are fucking all around you, and it's real easy to break a scene by going into another cell. I've been toying with a system where a male player goes up to patrons and offers a companion, but that might be too slow paced and I can't handle non-vanilla companions that way because ref variables can't be checked in dialog like regular refs can. - You can already trade drugs to fiends in Vault 3 as a dude in exchange for sex. Using a companion to forge an alliance isn't a bad idea. As for bisexual Veronica, I'd continue down the path I'm on now and make all her heterosexual sex forced or very reluctant. I have a weird tendency to try and stick with lore. Making her bi would make as much sense to me as making a female romance mod for Arcade.

The thing about whoring companions is that I play the game with a few economy mods/low barter/low luck etc. So in my mindset it's super common for me to like get to freeside, drop caps for ammo and weapon mods and find out i've got no money for stims or water or food, so a few caps whoring my companions makes up for it even if it is slow paced. Also it's not so bad watching your companions fuck because you can always crouch and go into first person view and pretend you're a photographer at a porno shoot. Also one thing that used to be in the old wsex is that there were desperate female gamblers in the bathrooms of the atomic wrangler. Also I know you can trade drugs for sex, what i was asking for is that if it's possible to make them masturbate, put more variety into it, maybe hold out on their payment and force them to do more for their fix. I dunno, I just think masturbation and dance animations should be incorporated into more mods just for a bit of variety. But you know more about this than I do so I will defer to your judgement. RDKateran Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 I'm all for more male interaction scenarios, and the Sunny idea is definitely a good one. The real trouble is, though, that in such an environment, sex is really only an option for female characters because they're far more likely to be accepted for it. Most male interaction scenarios in Fallout would boil down to companion prostitution, and there's only so many ways you can do that without making it a blanket "whore-to-everyone" mechanic.
RDKateran Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 I hate to be that guy and double-post, but I've recently gotten back into FONV and got all the Sexout stuff more or less successfully updated, but I seem to be coming across a few minor hiccups, particularly in the NCRCF portion. After getting enslaved by Eddie, Sunny's dialogue from earlier versions (where she calls you out on getting them enslaved) isn't firing, and a quick check in xEdit shows that the dialogue's still there. Also, some outfit hiccups with Willow--when the enslavement first happens her outfit is switched, but she retains her old jacket on top of it, along with her weapon. The first sex scene afterwards results in her reequipping her default outfit. Is any of that normal?

Could be tied to her Quest state; in the beginning she is not a full companion and certain funtions of her (including armor/clothing change) need to be unlocked.

All you'd need to do is find a tag you like from one of the Spectrum Toypack collars - or make your own - and put a texture with a name on it. If you want to attempt it, I wouldn't use the doggy tag Sunny has - Evilrunner's idea was that they engraved her name on the reverse of Cheyenne's collar tag. She's scripted to retain all her clothing items no matter what other mods do. I've gotten around this in my own game with a patch to Willow (I modified the esp directly to save space in my load order) making all her outfit pieces playable so I can remove them manually. I can make a patch to do that if anyone is interested.

Then you go to the bungalow, and can set outfits for her to wear. Then you can tell her which outfit to wear by dialog. You put the outfits in the cabinet, and they stay there, she does not carry them. I have set 3 outfits for her, plus sleeping, sex, and swim outfits. I have not seen her go back to her old outfit unless I tell her to wear it. I think this is dependent on how much she likes you, but I do not remember when it showed.

Also if I'm not mistaken I found dialogue in Tryout indicating that Eddie's bodyguards are supposed to get involved during the rape/enslavement scene, but that doesn't happen either.

As for the Sunny thing, I'm not doing Walk of Shame, I'm doing Let's Go To Prison, where you get talked into going there by McGee. My apologies for not clarifying it. I keep forgetting about Walk of Shame since it's relatively new to me.

When the quest stage "chloroform Trudy and Sunny" fails to register as completed (after choosing the chloroform dialogue option with both women and making them disappear) it becomes impossible to complete the quest Run Goodsprings Run (presumably because the original quest requires the two women dead).

Like I said, I'm not doing Walk of Shame, where you side with the Powder Gangers in Goodsprings. I sided with Goodsprings (and didn't kill any powder gangers) and talked to Sgt. McGee to get the quest to go to the NCRCF. I took Sunny and Willow, and Sunny's post-enslavement dialogue never triggered like it did in the previous versions.

iamnuff Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Just tried that mission myself (walk of shame) Chloroformed both women, took over the town, when I went into the bar after it was over though, they were both back as though nothing had happened. Both gave their standard dialogue, though I was given the "walk of shame" quest. No idea what i'm supposed to do about it though. I don't know how to make sunny follow me to the prison, she just asks if i'm planning to stick around a while longer. And yes, i have the sunny companion file.
ShadowThief Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 So when i first meet Eddie it only does 1 animation then he gos to sit down, am i supposed to do his normal quest, or does he capture me immediatly if so, is it broken?
