Probably yes. The two part-files are supposed to be extracted into the same folder, so if you got a folder called mbp++ or something like that you need to make it an omod with OBMM. The point of MBP++ is to replace some standard MBP files.

I already have MBP1.4a installed

 

My problem is, I have to overwrite them with MBP++ but don't know how.

once extracted I got a folder called "MBP++094a" I will try to make an .omod of it.

You can make an omod or just open the folder up and you should find a data folder inside.

Drag and drop the data file directly into the Oblivion one and it will ask you if you want to merge the folders\files. Say yes to the merge and say yes to any overwrites.

When I try to make an .omod of it, I get this message:

It is possible that this mod has been packed in a non standart way, or that it

contains multiple versions.

If you don't know how to script, copy the mod to a new folder and set it up as

Just make the .omod already! :s

All so confusing.. MBP1.4 was so easy to install.

Ah okay, but there is no "Moonshadow elf" esp in it, and so some .esp files are missing. There is another folder with .esp files, can I add them too?

First make a clean save. Uncheck all lovers esm's and esp's and start the game. Select your last save and load it. Then hit escape and select a new save. Once it is done saving then exit oblivion enable your lovers mods and try again.

I don't want to make this a long post.

 

I have not read through all of the posts in this thread since I was last at a computer. Nor have I even been able to keep up to date on mods or the modding community at all in the past few months.

 

I promise I will get some time over the next few days to get my modding legs back underneath me and read through this thread as well as see what other modders are up to.

 

The mod isn't _dead_ at all, nor have I abandoned the project. I will begin working on it again soon. Again, I will need to take some time to get re-oriented with oblivion. My last version of the mod shows 9/10/2011, So I haven't even loaded oblivion since then.

 

Again, this mod still remains my weird scripting project. I have dreamed up some new ideas on how to fix some lingering problems/bugs.

Sorry about disappearing, its been everything from family to work pulling me around.

I totally understand that RL issues require our time and commitment.

As for updates, I think tomfoolery summed it up pretty well above.

A couple of honorable mentions though, there are two cool mods that make mention of your mod & I believe may have got some inspiration from playerslave - 'Sexout Sewer slave' for FalloutNV &  'LoversDarkLessons', I can recommend checking them out.

As mastercchris mentioned, his stuff in the stockade thread looks promising, there is also a lovers slave trade mod being developed, with the player being a slaver. What was suggested over in the New Vegas sewer slave thread was to make one ESM that has all of the various resources like collars, cages, punishments, auctions, etc...that various mods can call on to use and thus hopefully be able to work better with each other.

Good to hear you'll still be working on it. Some similar themed mods have popped up for Oblivion and Falluot NV, but while very nicely done they tend focus exclusively on maledom which isn't much fun for me while this one seems to have much more potential.

So let me guess. This mod doesn't work well for men, does it? Trying to get captured, it loops with the "What a fine specimen" and "Forces Gag into mouth" script. :/

Yeah, there was a fix for that. It should be only one small edit, if you want to open it up in the CS and fix it yourself. Check the first couple of pages and you should see the post that describes the fix.

Sorry, that's all I got. Fortunately, thomthom has already removed the gender check in his version. If you just wanna try out the mod, I'd make a female character and just go through it real quick. You get a good glimpse of what kinds of things are possible, but the whole experience is about an hour unless you have to cross a long distance and the mod will kinda break the game anyway. So yeah, just wait for the new version: that way you don't have to watch your big burly dude character use a female walk animation for like 20 minutes.

I have been trying to document "easy to customize" points in the mod. Specifically to handle cases like this where there might be a request for something unexpected. Hopefully, if someone does have a preference it will be easy for them to understand how to make the modifications they need.

 

On a development related note:

My biggest issue right now is trying to get saved game reloads working correctly. Some of the values for the enslavement system are stored temporary and do not persist at the time of saving/reloading a game. Specifically the stack of waypoints during long travel. What this results in is a case where if you save while on the long walk, the destination you were going to gets popped off the queue and the next available waypoint is selected.

 

Also, in some cases the slave gets stuck in a loop between getting on and getting off the horse. I still need to fix that.
