i agree... good work needs its time.. and pushing the creator is shit.

and those that whine... well do it better first... then you have the right to do it... otherwise NOT !

I Know but i'm just saying Whin He Update's Update the Date so we Know whin is a New Update!!

 

ok an estimated time to update would be cool. but then if he is late with release then nobody shall complain. I know myself that you often cant hold dates you set... real life or other stuff interferes. And i formyself like more a good done work that takes longer, than a bad done work quick quick quick.

 

 

 

And what would i add in a later version. I heard already the player shall be able to free herself in tent during camping, but i had now a nice situation. Got enslaved.... and during the wandering... the Slaver was attacked... killed... and then a guard came and killed the attacker... and i stood around chained... without a chance of getting free (i would add some game to get free or a blacksmith in IC that can free you maybe).

The downloadable file is only a test. There is no "tenting" implemented in it. It may be some time before the first version comes out.

eh, you say to yourself I'm gonna leave by 7 and spend some time working on the mod, 6:45 rolls around, client gives you a call, all of a sudden you're in until 1 and you don't got no time for modding. It's always going to be like that.

 

Anyways kudos to the author of the mod, love the concept, I'll def try it out when a more mature build is available.

OvenToaster4Sale - That sounds like you don't have the correct version of MBP++, the Auction house owner uses the Bloodwitch race, so without that installed the game will crash. Also take a look at my signature for a troubleshoooting guide that I've worked up, might be something else the mod needs.

The problem is having TOO many beta testers. Duplicate findings, irrational complaints. Being bogged down with too much input will only delay the final release and cause more headaches than there need to be. I am sure he has a few, compitant beta testers at his disposal. Probably people who spell alot better than I.

I am as eager as any of you for the next release, but I do not wish to presure him or complain, as some of the posts here seem to be. I want Spring to be here too, so I can do some more planting, but I am content to wait, knowing it will come in it's own time.

This is a monumental mod, requiring much work. Work that if he has a life, takes alot of time out of his day. And if I had a life, I wouldn't want to forsake it for the sake of a project that is more or less just a distraction from the norm.

I could bore you with more preaching, but I am not so cruel.... usualy.

Sounds cool man, do you think there'll be a full release pretty soon? I'm worried about trying it in WIP form incase it corrupts things in the game that cant be fixed without re-installing (unless this is impossible, and it only affects things while activated)

I just want to make sure I've completed the mod... So I got captured by the woman Weldnyn (or whatever) but she keeps going in an infinite loop of training, then me waiting, then training, then waiting. Have I reached the mod's conclusion?

 

Also, the slaver guy in ebony armor still waits in the house after he sold me - contrary to what is supposed to happen.

Yes that is it for now. It was just the basic tryout for thomthom to test some ideas which will eventually lead to the full mod.

Love the concept of this mod.The player being made into a slave is a

fetish of Morrowind\Oblivion for a long time,and if it was easy someone

would have done it long ago.I would rather wait for a functional version than a bug filled version.I know that these things take time and since this forum has many other options there's no hurry. IMHO

when i meet the slaver he doesn rape me he hits me and then he just stand there and keep saying a message and doesnt do anything apart of that

jake117 - He's not supposed to rape you unless you have Lover's Rapers installed. Even then, the current playerslave (which is only an alpha/teaser) has little crossmod lovers support and only requires Lovers Resources and LoversPK. Its likely a script conflict. Post your load order and we'll take a look. Also check my signiture for a troubleshooting guide I wrote up.

I have been messing a bit with this mod (mostly to create an ending so that I can use it with my next character and not have to backtrack) and have been pleased with how clear the scripting is.

 

This mod will be an excellent one to extend to the "consequences of combat rape" mod that is being talked about elsewhere - one of the things that could happen is that the player gets dragged to a slaver and sold, if he/she doesn't have enough gold (say) to satisfy the rapist, or perhaps as a random outcome. I was developing a mod for something very much like that in Fallout, but could never get animations to do as I wished.

 

Of course, all of this goes against the Oblivion canon of slavery being suppressed in the empire, but I can live with that.

grumbler - Slavery suppressed Sir? Far from it! The Drummer have slowly been making been making progress in convincing the nobility and wealthy merchants of the Empire that slavery isn't all that bad. Besides giving those prisoners rotting in the Imperial jails some use, the spread of contraceptives and sex drugs have made a market for underground sex slaves whom on the outside are "maids" or "serving girls", working off whatever debt they owe to society whether criminal or monetary.

 

The Emperor, being of pure heart, was against all of this, so it was kept from his eyes by corrupted advisers. With his death, such justified indentured servitude of criminals and the poor, was quickly put in place by the Imperial Council. Which was about the only thing they agreed on, the Counts arguing over what to do about the Daedric invasion and effectively withdrawing to their cities. With no real centralized authority, the invasion continuing, the continuing spread of sex drugs that rivaled skooma in their addictive quantities (perhaps Daedric in origin?), prostitution and sexual slavery was slowly but surely becoming the norm.

 

As a side development, the Imperial Guard noted that while arresting prisoners, they had many escapes and deaths from spell casters, using their natural magic or a small hidden magic items. Thus the solution, while regrettable, was upon arrest to strip prisoners naked, bind, and gag them until they are transported to a secure facility. Bounty hunters soon followed these methods, and as long as they had the proper "paperwork", were not stopped in doing so by the Imperial Watch.

 

This is of course, what I consider canon :D
