hi guys,

so I want to switch from CBBE to UUNP on my main character (no more tests, all the armors I using on my CBBE, they were converted to UUNP... thanks a lot!  :D)

I'm undecided on the textures of the body.. what are the best? (I hate neckseam!)

Fair Skin Complexionhttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51602/?(on my CBBE i use only the Normal maps on fair skyn, no neckeam at all  ;))

SG Female Textures Renewalhttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35267/

or other?

and for this Barbie "hip-spike problem", there is a solution?

(I use a UUNP special-UNPB preset for images)

attachicon.gifuunp - unpb 1.jpg attachicon.gifuunp - unpb 2.jpg

thanks in advance!

bye!

If you use special, i suggest SRG normals with Spring's Kiss 2.0 by Faeofthewood since FSC has rather prominent Labia, that don't match up with the 3D parts...

Spring's Kiss 2.0 looks awesome!

thanks!

I noticed the banded iron bikini was converted by this guy named "osnius" or something, but has anyone converted this "Steel bikini armor???

"That guy" is cell from few posts above, co-creator of Bodyslide, so ask him nicely and he just might convert it. :)

wait... so cell is this oirinsus? WOW! Didnt know that was him! :)

OK, mr ousunus, would you happen to have the time (I know youre busy) to convert that armor pretty please!!!???

Thanks

It's a spontaneous decision when I want to convert something. I rather work on other things at the moment.

So no, osnius/oirinsus/ousunus won't convert that one. :P

awwww. ok .

Thanks anyways mr celery!

AND..... holy crap! I just started setting everything up with tri files!

Holy crap!

and...

HOLY CRAP! THIS IS AWESOME!

Racemenu 3.4.2 and BodySlide 2.8

Make your base body that everyone will use, tick the box in BodySlide for making the tri files  (It's labeled "Racemenu Morphs")

I use a UUNP Special body in a very slightly modified UNPB shape.

Now build (or REbuild as I had to do) all of your armors and clothes making sure you tick that box in BodySlide so all of your armor meshes now get built with tri files. Use the same preset as your default body (In my case it was the UUNP Special in the slightly modified UNPB shape)

Now I can go to my character and just go into Racemenu and alter her body to my liking (a little extra padding here, a little slimming there....) and any of those armors or clothes I just built will fit her as though I BodySlided them just for her. (BodySlided or BodySLID?.... whatever)

If you start with a "Zeroed Sliders" body, then all of the other presets work fine (Like 7B, 7B Oppai, UNPB slim..... whatever). But since I started with my custom body shape, some of those can have kinda funky results because my custom shape is my "starting point" as was explained to me by cell on Nexus in the Racemenu posts.

This means I don't have to build armors JUST for a certain follower or for my character because they have a different body than the default body.

I was constantly juggling armors and clothes as I have a lot of followers that I use on and off at various times (way too many..... sheeesh).

Now I can be like... "Bigger tits and it still fits!"  This is awesome.

Now all I need to do is find out more about BodyGen so I can randomize some stuff and/or set certain NPCs to look a certain way.

I'm like.... GIDDY with joy over this. ONE armor set!

Does this require Racemenu 3.4.2 or does it also work with Racemenu 3.3.0 as long as you tick the box in BS2?

noticed this in bodyslide 2.8 with identical bodies the bodies aren't identical 100 weight body has larger neck hole than the one with 0 weight

this gives problem for atleast skykids if u want custom body that don't do this

that floating neck wont happen with 100 weight but does with 0 weight with identical bodies at 100 and 0 weight

All Skyrim bodies and necks get smaller when you approach a lower weight (CBBE/UNP/UUNP/the others). The problem lies in said race, because its neck doesn't get smaller for lower weights, which it should.

I recently switched to UUNP from CBBE making sure to uninstall and delete all CBBE files and textures. When I built my UUNP body with Bodyslide, it looks ok in the preview window but when I check the body in Nifskope it's messed up. How can I fix this?

Check what texture path you have set in Nifskope (Render > Settings > Rendering) and add whatever of those 2 is missing:

Data/textures

Data

Also, check ingame, the textures should display just fine. If you use MO make sure you start nifskope from MO, or texture paths won't be resolvable.

Hey guys,

here's a new UUNP armor conversion for you to play around with: Aradia's Leather Armor.

Original LoversLab version:

The 7zip-File contains all required files. No additional dependencies (except for UUNP of course). Only the body mesh was converted so far, if there's demand I'll also do the shoes and other nitty-gritty stuff.

Damn. This was a NIGHTMARE to convert -.-

At the risk of sounding like an idiot.  If a conversion requires you to download the original, and the original has a UNP and a CBBE version, I'd want UNP for those textures, right?

Clothing/armor textures don't matter as far as i know just the body textures. Generally though if there a unp version grab it incase a item isn't covered by the conversion you're grabbing.

Mdy,

If using MO, you should make a profile JUST for BodySliding. When you download the BodySlide files for an armor, DO NOT have the actual armor mod active in the left pane. ONLY the bodyside files mod for it.

When you do this, as far as MO is concerned, the meshes do not exist and it will build them and put them in OverWrite.

EXAMPLES:

I have an armor mod called Cool-Armor

If I look at this mod in MO it has an esp file and also has meshes folder and textures folder.

I download BodySlide-for Cool-Armor

If I look at this in MO it contains the folders for the BodySlide, but does not contain an esp or meshes folder. It *MIGHT* have a textures folder, but we don't care because it's usually empty, and if not.... BodySlide doesn't write anything there so..... no worries.

IF YOU LEAVE BOTH OF THESE MODS ACTIVE in the left pane of MO when you run BodySlide, it's going to write the meshes into the original Cool-Armor mod's folders.

IF YOU DEACTIVATE the original Cool-Armor mod in the left pane, and then run BodySlide, MO has no "original location" to write the meshes so it writes them to OverWrite. Now you can right-click OverWrite and make it a mod. As long as it loads AFTER the original mod (in the left pane) your game will use the new meshes.

Is that a better explanation?

yes, that's what I've said above   :o ..or at least already understood.

My bpdyslide exe is linked in my mod orrganizer and when it makes mesh files it going to my mod organizer overwrite folder

Untitledsggh.png

-snip-

my method works 100% >_> error proof takes 1 min to fix

I believe it does, configurated it like that and will use it from now on. I guess it's intended that way.

chajapa's methode is still good, fail-save (if you're updating and forgetting about the config) and for lazy people that don't want to use the category-filter-function.

Thanks you two.

I'm using the methode with the overwrite path right now. But this will result in "no image"-meshes preview, because BS2 can't find the textures.

chajapa's methode should have the same problem, because there won't be any activated textures in the profile.

MeshOutputPath is unused since version 2.0 (yes, 0) of BodySlide. Game data is used for both textures and output.

Guess the outdated MeshOutputPath was still the best way then(?)

I thought this would be an apropriate place for this. This is an almost complete conversion of Edhildil's Mermer Armor to UUNP.

I say "almost" complete because I can't get the damned heels to behave, the textures are all wrong in game (but show up fine in BodySlide) and the feet point a slightly different direction than the shoes in game, I have no clue as to why these issues are present, and neglected to fix the issues because, I don't really know what I'm doing in that department, and quite frankly, I just don't need that kind of negativity in my life :D, other than that everything else works fine.

One more thing, this might look kind of funny depending on the body type it is adjusted to, so some adjustment in Outfit Studio may be required.

Original mod here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60162/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D60162%26preview%3D&pUp=1

The original file should not be needed, as everything should be included in the attachment.

That looks like a weighting issue, you might have to remove the weighting from the armor and paint the weights on by hand or somehow mask that part of the mesh when applying the weights. Anyway that would be my guess.

This worked for me. I didn't have my game data path set properly in Nifskope so once I fixed that everything's all good on my end. Thanks a bunch for clearing that up for me.
