fishburger67 Posted February 2, 2017 Author Posted February 2, 2017 Thank you for all the hard work it obviously took to bring this mod this far - there's so much more depth to the characters, storyline and dialogue than any other quest mod I've tried. But I am having an issue that I'd really like to resolve. When I ask Volkar to start training on Mia, I end up with TWO Mias in the room. The 'new' Mia is usually lying - just floating slightly above the floor - wearing a Blindfold and nothing else. The only option I have is to search her - as if she's a corpse. The original Mia is stood, where she was when Volkar cast the spell, but will not interact with me at all - nothing appears when I hovver the mouse over her, or when I click on her. After a moment or two she'll start running around trying to escape. This is a fresh playthrough, I'm only level 5, so it's taken a lot of effort to get to this point in the game. I've started the whole game again, but had the same result. If I ignore it and choose to enslave the girls I brought with me, everything works perfectly for them. Is there anything to be gained - as in quest or item - from enslaving Mia? If not, then I might as well kill her and just get on with enjoying the rest of your work This is a new one for me (double Mias). It should not be possible and I have no idea how it might occur. Having said that, there is no great advantage to her currently. However, we had great plans for her that will be lost forever if you kill her. Better to just let her hang in the chains till you get around to doing something with her. Thank you for the prompt response. Your support of users does you credit, as much as the quality of your mods. I wish ALL mod authors were so diligent. Just an update, the second Mia has now got chains attached to her which stretch to the ceiling. I believe she may even hang in the air when I'm looking away from her, because she crashes back to the floor whenever I attempt to look in her direction. I haven't seen the original Mia in a while, but she could still be fleeing somewhere in the building lol. I've attached an short portion of a papyrus log that covers the moment I first asked Volkar to train her. I've not used logs before, so it's all gibberish to me. But it might give you a clue - hopefully. Nothing in your log that is useful for me. However, creature framework seems to be pretty screwed up and it may be causing papyrus overload. Note that your issue will not be with Sex Slaves. It will be with another mod fucking things up. Because creature framework is reporting lots of errors, I suggest you start by removing that. There is a troubleshooting section that is linked off the home page that may be helpful to you. Just an update - I took out Creature Framework and disabled Bathing Beauties - and THIS TIME didn't enslave Mia via Paradise Halls before she submitted to me. It worked perfectly, she's now gayly swinging from her chains awaiting training. Can't work out how I missed the info in Troubleshooting the first time - so sorry for all the bother I've caused you. Thanks once again, for all your hard work. Had no idea you were using Paradise Halls. That mod causes endless problems. It is not recommended.
SkyBarbie Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 I've tried all of the slavery mods and Sex Slaves is the only system that I like. It is well designed and implemented. Paradise Halls went out the door once I found this beauty.
dwjlien Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Can I have the questname/setstage for It's A Trap please? I haven't drunk the second half of the antidote and I'm completely stuck. Can move camera but nothing else. The troubleshooting guide says to remove some papayrus heavy mods from your game, but due to bashpatch and skyproccer patches, this is completely impossible. Removing one .esp means a master file isn't found and the game won't load/ crashes. As a side note I also run a 6700k , and Elephant's Script Latency Tester, says im at 33-39, which is a very safe number... But yeah, any help to manually advance the game would be much appreciated, thank you.

If you can't play the gas trap scene, you won't be able to play the vanilla siege stuff. You likely won't be able to get past level 50. Just sayin' Having said that, reload a save from before entering the gas trap and proceed to kill the people where the gas trap is (but don't enter it). Then setstage MiaDungeonCapture 60 That bypasses the scene entirely. Make sure to switch off the gas trap with the lever.

Just to clarify, you should only remove script heavy mods BEFORE you start a new game, NOT during. It is ill advised to remove or uninstall mods mid-game as it can break your save games and cause other weird behavior. You should make a save game immediately before entering the gas trap scene and pause all of your script based mods that can be paused. I run OBIS and Sands of Time which can both be paused for example. I've noticed some minor timing issues with the gas trap scene so sometimes I have to try it a few times in order to get through it. I'm always able to get through the quest/scene after a few tries. The gas trap quest is heavily scripted and so it your papyrus engine isn't healthy and clean things can go wrong.
Tatsu82 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 hey I got stuck on "on the trail" quest before we get to mortal vess asks me to let her wear clothes as soon as I agree the game crashes I tried setstage to get pass it but it keeps happening .any idea what is wrong?

WaxenFigure Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 My quest breaks during "It's a Trap!!!". The dude goes downstairs after his buddy comes up but then nothing else happens. If I follow him down, my player is hit by the gas again and dies. Anyone know how to fix this? My quest breaks during "It's a Trap!!!". There are no bugs in Sex Slaves. If you are having any issues, especially crashes, it is likely a papyrus overload. Make a papyrus log and have a look. Check the trouble shooting pages for help on heavy mods. My quest breaks during "It's a Trap!!!". The dude goes downstairs after his buddy comes up but then nothing else happens. SkyBarbie Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 "There are no bugs in Sex Slaves." - You should stop advertising that because it simply isn't true. Not everyone experiences the same issues. I used to be a professional software testing engineer before moving on to IT. Developers would tell me all the time, "It worked perfectly on my machine." If they couldn't replicate a bug, I documented, on their PC, I would have to take them to the one I was testing on and allow them to play with it there. What was the difference? A different set of variables such as hardware, operating system, updates, software, configuration, user behavior, etc. I worked for top software engineering companies such as Symantec. Developers often think their software is bug free and perfect. You only have ONE set of variables to test with. Even software that I tested thoroughly and approved for release had bugs in it that customers found (variables that we hadn't accounted for). Even projects that had large testing teams still had bugs slip through the cracks. I can't think of a single product that we shipped that didn't require any updates or patches. I understand that you are on version 6.2 and the mod is mostly bug free. Because you don't have an unlimited amount of variables to test with there is no practical way that you can claim the mod to have no bugs. I understand that you don't want to do any further development but I have mentioned at least three minor bugs in the mod over the past few months. I even found two options in SexLab that, if used, outright breaks Sex Slaves (enable Debug/Development mode & Suppress Disabled Animations). My game is as bug free as you can get. I have several papyrus logs of me playing for 8 hours straight this year. I have multiple 150 - 200 hour playthroughs under my belt. Not all bugs are caused by too much papyrus load but many are. I am not trying to offend anyone, just wanting to keep things honest. Your mod is in both the Highest Rated and Most Watched list, congratulations! This is quite an accomplishment. You have also been excellent about supporting your mod since release. This is very commendable. You are one of the best mod authors on this site. I appreciate your contributions to the Skyrim modding community very much!

I appreciate your contributions to the Skyrim modding community very much! I guess I should have said "No significant bugs" to be precise. There are certainly some things I could do to make it easier to use, but as you noted, I no longer have the interest, mostly because it works well and is fun to play for at least a while. I test on four systems (unless it is just minor changes) before I release, so I can be pretty sure it works well. In addition, I put it out for beta with 10 other testers before releasing a major release. The bugs you pointed out are related to Sexlab, not Sex Slaves. I still use Sexlab 1.59 and I have ZERO issues on any of the four systems I use. No offense taken by the way. I appreciate your feedback as always.
fishburger67 Posted February 10, 2017 Author Posted February 10, 2017 I chose to keep Niri and the quest journal now tells me to take her to the trainer guy to start her training. I spoke to him about the others which was fine, but for some reason, it won't let me start her training. Any ideas? Don't remember exactly how that works, but try going alone with just Niri. I do remember that the dialog requires the quest stage to be at a certain point.

I do remember that the dialog requires the quest stage to be at a certain point. I'll try going with her alone then, seeing as I've already complete stage 500 according to the sqs command. Right, what you suggested worked, so that's good. However, the ones that I've been busy training since yesterday, such as Vess, they still haven't managed to crack. Is there a way to speed it up or something? Because at this point, considering how long I've spent, I'm not sure if it's broken or what. It takes a long time. Set the MCM menu option to the lowest setting. If you do that and space bar through the sex, is should take 2 - 3 real time hours per slave to complete the training.
SkyBarbie Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 hey I got stuck on "on the trail" quest before we get to mortal vess asks me to let her wear clothes as soon as I agree the game crashes I tried setstage to get pass it but it keeps happening .any idea what is wrong? If this occurs 100% of the time after loading the save (numerous times/attempts) just before this event then the issue is nearly always a broken mesh. Vess will switch to prisoner rags as clothing. A bad mesh is usually the culprit when the CTD happens 100% of the time on a clothing change. Some other possibilities are having an improper or misinstalled skeleton or an incompatible body type (usually mesh related again). I know the mod works great with CBBE and UNP. You should be using either the XPMS or XPMSE skeleton. Install it again. Check and see if you have any mods overwriting the prisoner rags. Switch to either CBBE or UNP if you are using a different body type.
fred200 Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 I would say Fish means game hours. Takes me about 15 minutes to train a slave.

I still use Sexlab 1.59 and I have ZERO issues on any of the four systems I use. No offense taken by the way. I appreciate your feedback as always. 99% of your player base is using the latest version of SexLab (1.62 currently). This is what you really should be using and testing against, even if you feel that 1.59 performs better. As a tester, you have to use what your players/customers are using. Current Bug List (non-SexLab related) 1. Jenny, Sasha, and Linda all have different movement speeds. One of them has a movement speed of 100 (default). This makes it difficult for followers to keep up with the player while traveling. Most of the best follower mods out there set the follower speed slightly higher than the player's movement speed. This allows easier catch up as navmeshing isn't that hot in Skyrim. I recommend between 125 to 150 movement speed for followers. 2. The 'Mia Cell Tracking Script' runs at the worst time possible and can cause a rare CTD on cell change. It runs immediately when changing cells (before Skyrim even attempts to load the new cell data). For some reason this can interrupt Skyrim's cell load process and cause a CTD. It is a rare bug but I have dozens of logs showing this. The only time I CTD is rarely on cell change (usually interior to exterior) immediately when I click on the door to exit (the hard drive never gets hit to load anything, just instant CTD). The only thing that ran after I clicked on the door was the Mia Cell Tracking script. In nearly every case, the only thing that interrupts a long 5 - 8 hour play session is this bug. Sometimes it happens after only playing for 30 - 120 minutes (rarely). The 'Mia Cell Tracking Script' should not even attempt to run until the cell has been fully loaded. 3. Radiant Quests not progressing to the next radiant quest. I've seen this bug in my last playthrough and my current one. I set the radiant quest delay to two days and completed the butt plug quest and saved and exited Breezehome as instructed and the second radiant quest never became available (even after weeks). I've seen progression issues with other radiant quests also. There are some bugs in the radiant quest system. There needs to be some kind of check to ensure radiant quest progression. 4. Timing issue with the Gas Trap quest. My PC is so fast that I've had things get out of order in this quest. I've had Vess and Niri still being defeated by the gas trap when they should have been placed in the torture devices. I've had my character die after being chained up. My papyrus load is light and I paused all available mods that could be paused. I can get through the gas trap quest by making a save immediately before hitting it and then retrying the quest a few times. I've tested this quite a bit. 5. Sasha and Linda have a 'Bandit Friend Faction' in their NPC record. This really needs to be removed after they are recruited. I've noticed that it can cause Sasha and Linda to stand their and do nothing while the player is fighting bandits. Once the player or the follower is hit, then Sasha and Linda will attack. I've had times where I was good at dodging and avoiding damage but killing bandits where Sasha and Linda just stood there. You already have a script attached to their recruitment that you could add a remove faction command. 6. The guy torturing the player immediately after the gas trap should be immune to damage or at least have his health constantly refreshed or remove all active magic effects from the player. If the player had a fire cloak or other damage reflecting spell on them it kills the torturer and breaks the quest. Three different ways to solve it: a) Make the torturer invulnerable until he is done torturing the player b} Constantly refresh or lock the torturer's health until he is done torturing the player c) Remove all active effects from the player via the gas trap script

Is that how it's intended to work, I was expecting him to give me a full set or Armor.

I'm unsure how this is suppose to work as I've always asked to be released from the contract (I'm not his bitch). He has three pieces of armor: Volkars Boots of the Giant Volkar's Armor of Health Volkars Gauntlets of Archery You can always open up the console and type 'help Volkar 4' without the quotes. It will give you the IDs of the other armor pieces. You can then type in 'player.additem ID# 1'.

astor Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 I've run this mod for a few playthroughs and while i really enjoy it, i gotta say, i'd really like an option to skip past the opening chain. Running all over skyrim was fun the first few times, but now, it's a bit tedious. I know it's my fault for running through it so often, but i'd be obliged if someone could provide a list of quest id's or how to find said id's so i can console my way past the beginning chain. Again, really good mod.

Again, really good mod. The author is pretty much done developing for this mod but may fix a few remaining bugs. I love the beginning of the mod. The starting quest with Niri and Vess is incredible. I feel that the whole mod was very well done and I wouldn't want to skip any of it. Personally, I'm much more tired of running though all the vanilla Skyrim quests than the quests this mod provides. Asking the author how to skip the first half of his content isn't something authors like to hear or do. When I get to this point I take a few months break from the game and come back to it mostly refreshed and excited to begin a new playthrough. To me, the quests aren't overly long or tedious. I want more content not less. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of course and user experience may vary.

I understand that, and would never want to offend a mod author, lord knows modding is hard enough without criticisms. Just that after running the quest(s) 10+ times, this time, i'd really like to just get to the lair. My Dovakhin needs some discipline.
