Teruke Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 i never used the YGnord race, every character i have is standard vanilla races, so i would create whatever face, use spf, load CK with whatever mods where there, Skyrim, DW, DB if you have them, ECE, hair maybe and i don't know what else.. i would look for the player entry and create a duplicate, name it something else, select the race my char had, go to facegen tab was it? load the .npc file, move the nose slider to 32, say okay then ctrl + f4, and look into the meshes whatever path for the nif... there shouldn't be any major problems interfering with this process. if it there are, i don't know why they happen and i never ran into them when i created my follower.

When i have time, I'll reinstall Skyrim with MO and see if that makes the work progress easier. Alone launching the CK makes me go nerd rage from all the error messages on loading plugins. Worst software ever. Anyways thanks Teruke for your support, i'll keep track of this conversion problem.

It's not really a conversion problem anymore, you can recreate a certain preset just by finding and giving the same values to the sliders, all you have to worry about is the cheek shape which now can be fixed in RM3 with Head shape slider and smooth brush. So maybe you could try this if generating a nif doesn't work.

Worst software ever. Anyways thanks Teruke for your support, i'll keep track of this conversion problem. You can disable these error warnings in CK by going to your SkyrimEditor.ini in Skyrim folder. Just search for bBlockMessageBoxes=1 and change it to 0, my headaches dissapeared after that

Skyrimloverx2z Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Does anyone know why the presets I load come off very deformed, or not even close to what's shown in the user images? I use the exact same mods listed, but it comes very different. For example, the 51 comment from page 3 ( sorry can't post link ) was the only one that worked for me yesterday. Today I had to reinstall the game and Mod Manager as well+ the mods, but no matter what I do I can't make that same preset, which worked fine yesterday, to work again. Please help!!!!

Vast improvements in terms of sharing faces not present in either ECE or older RM. Trollsbane.rar Looks nice I loaded this without CITRUS heads, generally works but the shape is of course not properly represented. Seems like you used quite a lot of other overlays, i guess "RaceMenu Overlay Compilation" is one of them?

I've got to go and do it one day, but I'm having some sort of CTDpocalypse recently so it has become a drag to even boot up Skyrim nowadays, most of the time I should spend playing I instead spend it looking for what is causing all those crashes aha. I believe that if you go to your Bodypaint or whatever tab in Racemenu, and delete the forms related to the overlays I use that you don't possess, the "missing texture" issue goes away. Just put everything to Default and it should be alright, judging from what I've tried out with presets I've gotten here.
Lorelei Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I have just went through all 10 pages and though people pointed to the direct location I am still having a little trouble finding where to place these =/ I use Mod organizer - So I went to Mod organizer>mods> Race menu 3> skse>plugins> but i do NOT have a chargen folder. there is a Chargen.dll but not a folder. is that what I need to replace? or is it a plug in I am missing? I saw someone say its in my overwrite folder but that folder is empty for me. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

yatol Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 mimic replace your head with the one of a npc you pick import replace your head with the one you pick from the list so the game can't load a head that don't sliders problem is gone sliders won't be good, but that's not a problem if you have nose 1, new head will have one before the end, if you move the slider left then right, you won't get back your nose, if you move the slider, you have to put back nose 1

The Face Copy spell is only supposed to work on NPCs that are exactly the same race and gender as your character. The face definitely stays after opening /showracemenu, otherwise i wouldn't have all those presets.

You and Guk are incredibly helpful and Guk is always there to give advice and or help. So, he may be confused but a little more tact could be used.
