Richard1234 Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 I don’t know what could cause this, but 2 things that I would try: 1. Run FNIS 2. After character creation let everything load and initialize for a minute. When it’s done, then save, exit and load that save. If I remember correctly devious devices stuff loads only after some other stuff has first initialized.

If you are using FNIS Sexy moves it is known to substitute idles causing weird issues with arm binders. Check load order or look for a patch if this is the problem.

So checked all my DDx, DDa and DDi files and none of them have the "_0.nif" and "_1.nif" files for "kimydress", "kimydress_eb", "kimydress_open" and "kimydress_eb_open"?. Oh and neither does DD 5.1. Also missing are the skirt and straight jacket same as above. Only the ground one is there"_go"

Find DD 5 thread which includes this as well in its installer. 1 download for all DD parts. Oh and where i come from there is no such 1gb limit for non-paid users, i haven't even registered to the site. Maybe try VPN?

I have the DDX4.3 all the requirements and DDX is after the other two DD mods but wearing the Ankle Fetters my DB is still able to *Run. All the other effects on restraints seem to work properly except for this item. All the locks work, cant interact much with the medieval wrist variants, just this on effect on this set doesn't really restrict...anything. Anybody know about what could be wrong and maybe a point in the right direction?

If you set up a new playthough, consider using the latest version Devious Devices 5.x instead. The new version already includes all of the older packs (as of Assets, Integration, ...) so you only need that one download for DD to work.

Actually everything in the play through is from that time so it shouldn't have been a compatibility issue (I did state everything else did work). I've had the "Still able to run issue before but it was later fixed but that was years ago and I don't do Adult in Skyrim enough to remember. I did convert this to the new 5.x system and everything seems fine except.. the running issue is still here (New system. No Change still a problem)). The effects do work as intended on the other medieval devices (No idea on modern fashion attire) just not the running. New system, Old system, same problem. Anybody have any idea's?

Officially it's not supported to update from 4 to 5 without making a new game, there were known issues about it. But otherwise we can't help much without knowing exactly what you are doing. "Ankle fetters" is a broad concept that different mods use different ways. Which mod is yours from when seen from console, and what is its exact name? How did it get given or equipped to you? Does it happen if you give it to yourself in a new game?

There is also the common "Ball & Chain" labeled as Fetters But those are not the subject here and that effect (Slowing to a walk) actually *Does work as intended. Also with the same name a variant the preview Picture does Not show the chain, those also are Not the subject here. I would've thought the over encumbered affect would be used here but maybe not. As for Other Mods that may be causing this I really doubt it as none of the mods I'm using now were present before and these are really basic and few... Slave Tats SexLab Aroused SexLab Framework Simple Slavery LE 6.3.2 SL Defeat I did get that about the updating mid game so I backed this Skyrim playthrough up before starting. It did take several relogs, Saves/Loads, and I used the save cleaner to remove the remnant code. All the effects work on the other items I've tested and the other effects on This item works fine plus as stated I've had this issue before on a much earlier version (Immediately after the wrist variant came out).

Everything seems to be showing up like normal, but the restraints don't actually do anything to hinder movement. Maybe Im missing an animation pack or something?
