It's a soul gem you give birth to rather than a child if you have it set that way. It can be used like any other soulgem iirc

Yes, but it takes some effort and a bit of luck as it doesn't always work first time.

1/ Run the uninstall routine (you may have to do this a few times as BF sometimes tries to reinstall)

2/ Remove BF

3/ Load and save

4/ Use save game cleaner

5/ Load and save

6/ Install latest BF

It may take two or three goes before it will work. Bear in mind it only seems to work on the first load, so a reloaded game doesn't work. If it doesn't work first time shutdown Skyrim and restart it, then load the game. I think as Milz mentioned earlier it's likely to be a script lag issue but I'm just speculating.

It's a good idea once it's running to check a papyrus log. If you get the large list of stack errors (see a few posts above) it may be better to start again, ideally you should only have the initial Property AddOnManager errors.

Once you actually get it running it seems to be fine but it does take a bit of work

well I don't see how as it is BeeingFemale that causes it to crash to the desktop cause I've run FNIS everytime I try to install it and it still crashes before the menu options even appear

Have you tried running TES5Edit (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/?)

It should show if you're missing any dependancies.

Bug Report with EC+ and v2.7.2

Not usre if it's been reported but there seems to be a problem with the Estrus Chaurus + integration.

I was mid Follicular stage when infected with a chaurus parasite. Timer then goes to paused which is correct, however the progress bar still advances so it looks like it's not paused at all. I noticed that at the start my chance of pregnancy was 2% and after the eggs were born I was at 97% and Follicular was nearly complete looking at the progress bar

After the parasite eggs are born the stage remains on Follicular (iirc it should go straight to menstruation) and the timer remains as paused.

It then went into Ovulation but the time is still reported as Paused. I was then impregnated by a guard and after waiting a day or two it changed to 1st Trimester but the timer still said Paused

EDIT:

A picture tells a thousand words as the saying goes. The timer looks to be working but is reported as Unknown in the widget and Paused in MCM

EDIT2:

Doing a PC reset gets the timer going again though jumps the pc back to the start of Follicular. I also tried advancing the stage through the debug menu but the timer still says Paused, so a reset seems to be the only fix.

EDIT3:

Last edit. Tested a chaurus infection when the pc was already pregnant and that works perfectly and the timer comes back online as well, so the only problem seems to be the Pause and not jumping to menstrual for non pregnant pc. That's not a big issue as it can be handled manually from the MCM as a workaround for now

the MCM menu won't open for me anymore. not on my current save at least. it works just fine on a new save, but on my old save, it's screwed.

i tried removing it so i could re install it, but when i remove BF my save game becomes corrupted. is there anything i can do other than start a new game?

thank you. i made a new save already though, my last save kept adding 1000 active scripts every for every hour of play time...so many things were wrong i just didnt care to try and fix it.

my new save barely has 10 active scripts after a few hours of playing.......so odd.

Bug Report with EC+ and v2.7.2

Not usre if it's been reported but there seems to be a problem with the Estrus Chaurus + integration.

I was mid Follicular stage when infected with a chaurus parasite. Timer then goes to paused which is correct, however the progress bar still advances so it looks like it's not paused at all. I noticed that at the start my chance of pregnancy was 2% and after the eggs were born I was at 97% and Follicular was nearly complete looking at the progress bar

After the parasite eggs are born the stage remains on Follicular (iirc it should go straight to menstruation) and the timer remains as paused.

It then went into Ovulation but the time is still reported as Paused. I was then impregnated by a guard and after waiting a day or two it changed to 1st Trimester but the timer still said Paused

EDIT:

A picture tells a thousand words as the saying goes. The timer looks to be working but is reported as Unknown in the widget and Paused in MCM

EDIT2:

Doing a PC reset gets the timer going again though jumps the pc back to the start of Follicular. I also tried advancing the stage through the debug menu but the timer still says Paused, so a reset seems to be the only fix.

EDIT3:

Last edit. Tested a chaurus infection when the pc was already pregnant and that works perfectly and the timer comes back online as well, so the only problem seems to be the Pause and not jumping to menstrual for non pregnant pc. That's not a big issue as it can be handled manually from the MCM as a workaround for now

Same to the player timer / pause.... Did you restart skyrim between the charus pregnancy? It can be that one of those thausend fixes was, to enable the player timer whenever loading a game. This could properbly be the reason.

Why isn't there a text in big red letters saying that this only works on New Game? Have anyone successful got 2.7 running on a old save?

Because this isn't neccessary... it works with old games, too ^^

But you need luck because there are some problems.....

Well, a few comments before someone said something about sksi.ini..... when I think about it.... wasn't there an option in the Skyrim.ini where the Papyrus Memory was limited? .... BeeingFemale needs a lot of papyrus memory... especialy when you need to run BeeingFemale for the first time, or when updating...

I never played around with those values

I think I have a similar problem.

Beeing Female shows up in MCM, but when I select the options, it shows a blank screen and nothing happens. Also, if I select Beeing Female, I cannot select any other mod settings until I exit out of MCM and go back into game, then go back into MCM before it lets me go to the settings of other mods.

This issue happens on NEW games as well, not just old saves.

I cannot do the uninstall procedures in the previous page:

1/ Run the uninstall routine (you may have to do this a few times as BF sometimes tries to reinstall)

2/ Remove BF

3/ Load and save

4/ Use save game cleaner

5/ Load and save

6/ Install latest BF

because it is blank.

I have tried uninstalling Beeing Female, loading a new game. Saving the game. Installing Beeing Female and it still doesn't show any information in MCM other than being listed in the menu.

It was running fine for a few days before this, until my character actually got pregnant. Then, the game CTD after 2 days of the first trimester and I havent been able to get Beeing Female to work anymore. THe game doesn't CTD anymore, but I only get blank info when selecting BF in MCM.

I have the latest "LOOT" and run FNIS on a regular basis.

The only thing I have updated in a while is XPMSE and changed some textures for female skin on CBBE body (went to the HDT Model and belly node through BodySlide)

Not sure what is conflicting with it, because I do not have any other pregnancy mods running.

Would it matter that my character got knocked up by a Creature??????

The game had probably been reloaded a few times during the Estrus pregnancy. I can't quite remember but it would be pretty likely as it takes a few game days and I was using the time to do some Thieves Guild missions, so probably not just reloads but restarts of Skyrim.

I'll test it without a start to see what happens

EDIT - TESTING

I used debug to advance to follicular and paused 24 hours to check timer was working.

Impregnated pc with chaurus parasite

Saved game 3 game hours before birth

Paused 4 hours and the birth happened

Paused around 20 hours and the stage went to ovulating and the timer in formation was still Paused.

Here is where it gets interesting

I reloaded the save I'd taken and let the pregnancy happen

I then paused 4 hours and it went to menstruation and the timer was working again.

However there's a nasty twist.

I had a save of my main game 3 game hours before before birth and when I loaded that, gave birth and advanced 4 hours the stage went to ovulation and again the timer was stuck on Paused

Speculation

As you suggested it seems to be an issue with the load and paused timer but I think there is something more as my main game should behave the same as my test game.

The only difference I can see is in my main game the impregnation occurred a good way through follicular. Although the Timer says it's Paused in fact it is not and the phase continues. This can be seen from my main game as if the timer had been paused it would resume where is stopped in mid follicular, so it may be that the Timer had overran the phase and gets locked up in some way or loses track of where it is.

The only other thing I can think of to account for it was a BF reset.

Anyway, I hope this is of some use, it is pretty easy to test for yourself if you use DCL plant attack at 100% and impregnation at 100% (or spawn a chaurus)

It was me and it is wrong. Loot dont do things correct all the times.

And you should serious make one tread about it in the support forum for your issue.

"It's wrong" is about as helpful as a box of rocks, Uncle64, just saying "it is wrong" and not elaborating on what the issue is doesn't help.

Can you elaborate what is wrong with his load order?

Because I run LOOT on Skyrim and FO4 and have use it (and it's parent tool) for years and never had any issues with load order before.

I thank you for the links but I don't see what is out of place as it only crashes when I try to add Beeing Female. It automatically goes into the bottom of the esm files since it is the last added. is the basic addon esp supposed to be somewhere specific?

Fated_Sin and I both came here because of our issues with Beeing Female, we supplied our LOOT orders in case there was a problem, which according to, YOU , Uncle64 who said that Fate's Loot order was "Terribly Wrong".

I Know how Loot Works, I AM NOT here because of LOOT. I am here because I am having issues with Beeing Female not showing any content in the mcm, just the name. AS FATED_SIN HAS Already twice, that he is here asking for help with Beeing Female..

So, Kind sir... if Fate's Loot Order is wrong, tell everyone, and US what is wrong about it and maybe Fated_Sin (AND ME) can fix the problem and go back to enjoying Skyrim with Beeing Female!

OR maybe the Load Order has nothing to do with our issues and something else is causing the problem, like maybe there is a MOD in the List that could be conflicting with Beeing Female?.

Can Anyone else? Take a look at our issues with Beeing Female and give some constructive advice?

Hmm.

Perhaps you should chill down little and try to learn how to read little and you will find out that there are many other that have issues whit the black MCM menu. You are not alone.

If you check this tread you will find atleast 5-6 different guides how you set up B-F 2.7.2.

If you want some help you need to understand that many of us do this on our free time and no charge.

And B-F dont CTD your game. It can if you dont have set up your Papyrus properly.

Poked thru the thread, not sure what is going on.

I have all the requirements (unless I overlooked something)

I just reformatted my computer, and decided to put Skyrim back in. Hadn't played for a few months, and saw that BF had updated. I was using 2.6. I load and it crashes like there's a missing requirement, but can't see what I am missing. If I disable BF 2.7, it loads.

Here is my load order too (still a work in progress, mind you, still having other issues some things didn't install properly and they aren't showing up in the UI, but working on them one by one) but BF not letting it load is a big deal for me

Did you run loot and update Fnis? @Sural

It is one common issue that B-F dont load. 1.6 is still working fine atleast.
