I might start a flame war here, but I really hate people (and businesses and politicians) who use 'Religious Freedom' as reason to discriminate.

In summary, clerks of the State of NC can refrain from issuing marriage licenses on the grounds of religion beliefs.  However, because the state is still obligated to fulfill the request for the marriage license, another clerk is assigned to the case.

Now what I really hate and what You might also feel because of the theme of this place is modern gaming. To be more precise the direction gaming companies took. Now maybe it's because I'm older now but no games can capture me like they did before. But that's also not the case so I will put some examples to illustrate my point:

Dragon age origins, I finished 3 times and loved it. Dragon age 2, much worse but also finished it 3 times for the story. New game Dragon age Inquisition, finishing it just once was a pain in the ass even tho I was soooo hyped for it and bought it before release in my country by using vpn. It was just so boring, mmo-like and "collect them all" experience I couldn't bother to finish it for months.

Mass Effect 1, Finished 7 times, my long time favourite. Mass Effect 2, a bit more boring because of the fragmentation of main quests but also loved it very much and finished it about 5 times. Now Mass Effect 3 I finished only once and the ending was absolute shit, and later on couldn't bother to play through again. 

Witcher series. First part I played in 2015, I played all my free time I had and finished in a week. Great game! Witcher 2 same thing, I couldn't break away from it. Witcher 3 - such a great game in every way, yet because of all the boring collectibles I got bored of the game and now it collects dust. 

World Of Warcraft - this is an mmo, which genre I don't like but I loved WOW. Yet over time with every expansion it turned worse and worse.

 

Now what is it with gaming companies? Anyone else thinks new games lost their magic, their charm? Is it just me?

MMO's, played guild wars 2, but got bored, like you, bought DAI, played for a bit got bored, played 1 and 2 also. Modders make my game, Skyrim, FO3, FNV and now FO4. Reason I support this sight, 4000+ hours in Skyrim. Bottom line is, I guess I go where the Modders go. Players make the game the way they want it too be'

The only close friend I have is in the Marine corp. and I only get to talk to him on the weekends when he has time off, if he has time off... I'm proud of him for his accomplishment, but at the same time i'm frustrated that theres no one to around that really gets me or can speak on the same ahem... depraved level. The only way to save the world is to exterminate entire human race. Why?! Because we are the source of all evil. Wars, poverty, greed, domination, control, selfishness, hate, racism and every other human behavioral misdoing is caused by humans. We would never change. That’s what we are. We do what is in our genes - evil. We deserve to die. Period.

If you want to save the world, shut down polluting factories, stop producing weapons and start producing food; give education, heath insurance for free, stop oppressing and hate others, stop poverty, give the homeless homes, respect and love each other and so on and so on…. Unfortunately, since man is corrupted in his very essence, that’s not going to happen. We can’t save the world. It’s destined to doom.

So, appeals “Save the world” are meaningless if we aren’t ready to die for utter goal - make this world better for those who deserve it. We aren’t one of them. Only then this planet can recover and maybe, maaaaybe humanity might have another chance.

So, hearing “Save the world” paroles, fucking makes me mad because it is IMPOSSIBLE.
