My PC can't handle the heat right now 34 celcius in my room hehe

Normally my PC have no problems with heat my CPU OC stays at 50-60 celsius even when playing a game and my GPU OC around 75-80 celsius when playing.

 

But the weather as in most Europe is very hot for our parts(Netherlands)and my temparture in my case go up alot.

 

Have Cooler master HAFX and most of time its doing its job very well but in this extreme tempatures i have to open my case window door and put a external fan on it to keep it cool.

 

Idle np but load it's hot inside my case.

 

Closed my GPU go up when playing 92 celsius and my CPU at 70+ Celsius.

 

So opendoor and fan i have np problem  for few days i can live with this solution hehe.

 

Luckly for few days these tempatures

As long as your CPU and CPU don't reach Tjmax which is for your CPU 90-100°C and for your GPU 100-120°C you don't have to care.

Its Monsoon  Season where I am , And I'm having Cold Boot Issues ........ the pc I have has to run in safe mode for a good 30 mins max only then will windows boot ..... lol 

God I Miss my laptop ...

You can try underclocking.

 

Ah and don't open the case becouse it breakes natural airflow that was designed by producers. In short opening case = doesn't lower temp at all.

Same as here E.D. My country was hit by a heat wave. 35 C in my room and I can hear my CPU fan sounding like a vacuum cleaner.

It's beautiful 22C here in Missouri during July, otherwise known as 72F, normally it's about 20-25 degrees hotter here, but I'll take what I can get, besides, I have A/C, which a lot of Europe doesn't use.

I live in the tropics, 30c+ is normal daily temperature for most of the year and my GPU rarely reaches 70c even on really hot days. But I've selected components specifically for their cooling capacity and I don't overclock.

 

Some tips

Don't overclock, you may be able to do this normally, but it'll kill your cpu/gpu on load at high ambient temperature.

Get a high airflow case. Corsair, Coolermaster and a few other brands are good. Particularly those ones with front and side inflow fans and top and rear outflow fans.

Buy an after market cooler for your CPU. Noctua make really good air coolers. I don't know anything about water coolers though.

Buy a graphics card with a good cooler, the reference design is not designed for high ambient temperature. Mine is an MSI with a twin frozr IV and idles at 6c above ambient.

 

Don't use an ENB, these really run your GPU hard. Make sure VSync is always enabled as this throttles your GPU with 60hz monitors. 120hz monitors will need a framerate limiter enabled with an OSD such as Rivatuner. This can't be enabled with ENB as they can't coexist.

Nah, there's a couple of things you really shoulden't save on when building a PC, the PSU is one of them, the case is another.

 

A good case is a one-time investment that can last you many, many good builds into the future. It might cost a bit more upfront, but it pays off in the end.

Answer: I'm not talking about the saving money, I'm talking about not having money. If I can, I would surely have the best components in my PC rather than 3 years old CPU with factory CPU fan and 2 years old GPU and 10 years old case and 7 years old 550 W power supply.

Geeze, and I thought I was miserable in 25C were have in the UK at the moment. There's no AC anywhere or good ventilation, though, so the heat just get trapped and every room you go in is muggy. Feels gross. Blegh.

As i said normally it's all ok but serieusly 35 celcius is not good for PC nomatter what, unless as some say build PC with special components prolly helps alot, but i don't have tropic components because of 3 days we have in a year

 

Luckly we don't have many of those days here maybe 1-3 days max a year so my PC will survive.

Btw my PC side door open and fan on it drop the temp 15 celcius so it helps alot.

 

Im over clocking sind's i can remember first time i had a PC this was maybe 16 years ago so for me no option not to hehe.

Running my passive cooled rig here and it's around 32C in the room.

So far the temperatures are acceptable inside the case.

running Skyrim and the graphic card is working hard, tho i wouldn't notice that if i didn't look at the usage of the different cores.

No fans is such a blessing when playing such a gorgeous game with speakers.

Only downside is the size of the watercooling towers.

May i introduce to all of my fellow forumites to the revolutionary ideas of air-conditioning, with the smasing new technology of inverting alternative current to direct current  -like a PSU kinda- plus a small portable fan directed to your rig.
I believe -actually i know- that would do the trick of keeping things cool and dry or moisty-sorry for my english- to your likeness plus a small plate of any kind of metal placed under any laptop will also help .

My Machine is overclocked to a perfect max, so when the Heat and Humidity went far above the normal yesterday it had a Heartattack, shut down and didnt respond.

I would have to know the specs and thermal takes you have installed but it sounds a little like you stuck with the stock heatsinks that came with your rig.  If that's the case you should really consider using different thermal takes.  The stock heatsinks that come with a CPU are not very good, they work but they can't really perform like a Corsair H110.  I would also suggest switching to a new ceramic thermal paste.

This is the stuff I use personally.  It's more efficient than normal brands of thermal paste.  On the above exception, if you're not using stock heatsinks but ones you bought and installed, I would suggest not overclocking but that's me.  My rig for example can overclock like a beast (sporting a Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced & Cosair Hydro Series H110 Extreme) but I don't because that severely limits the lifespan of your PC.

 

Slow and steady may not always win the race but at least it doesn't end up a gooey paste on the walls

When first started to clean my pc i made a slight error and put the fan to point inwards so it was not really cooling the pc at all. after putting the back fan outward it was cooling the pc normally. Make sure to check the temp of the motherboard and graphics card and CPU to stay below specs. when the temperature was rising like 35 degrees my pc stayed near 50 for CPU and 45 for Motherboard. Not sure of the graphics card though. But it was cracking allot not sure how to explain the noise that came from it otherwise.

 

Also what to check regularly is if there is no dust on the fan. or make sure to add new thermal paste if the CPU gets too hot for some reason.

Seriously, you are doing more harm tham good. That's an urban legend. It could help a little sure, but desktop cases were meant to work closed, not opened.

Working opened, like was mentioned here, it breaks the airflow and leaves space for more dust and dirt to enter your computer and damage components.

Put thermal paste on your cpu and gpu, clean your fans and check if you have a good airflow running through your computer like so:

You Europeans... You guys don't know heat till you come to Vegas during August summer. 100-120 Fahrenheit. I will say this, I rather take this dry heat any day over humidity in the southern states. Sweat, sticky, mosquito's = no thanks... I'd rather live up north in Canada if anything. Sun + summer + heat is not my thing. I'm a winter person.
