Kimy Posted September 20, 2015 Author Posted September 20, 2015 how come my female npcs all say they aren't into women when I go to solicit ?. how to fix Sexlab seems to weight 'straight' preferences more than bisexual or homosexual preferences. The easiest solution I've found is to target them with your Sexlab's npc targeting key (I believe it is 'n' by default) and change their preference in the Sexlab journal (you'll have to click their name at the top, as the journal will show your character's stats by default). I also could roll their preferences locally and make the distribution configurable, but I am not sure I want to add the infrastructure to remember the value, so it would be re-rolled every time you try to solicit to that NPC.

I've disable the full set. last time it happen I was at 42 (my pc is equip normally, only my follower get device despite the option is switch off) I have a funny idea that this was a bug that was introduced in 4.10 if you roll back to 4.8 then you should be fine. I have the same issue in 4.10; even with follow support disabled poor sophia has a bad time.
zenetx Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Reducing key farming is one of the things I have been working on for several content updates now (The Courier in Chains quest, Sex for Keys and pickpocketing keys are all part of that plan). Because it's quite frankly boring. That and math basically demands that if your key drop rate is lower than the trap chance (and most players set it that way), you will end up wearing MORE devices using this method, not less. However, I am pretty much opposed to let players buy keys just like that (the one exception being the High Security set). Gold is super easy to come by in the game and letting players buy keys would totally trivialize the bondage gameplay to replace it with "Oh, another restraint. Where is the nearest innkeeper, so I can get rid of it again?". Buying keys is a risk free and fast way out that's in my opinion just too easy. I want to put the characters in actual despair and add a feeling of helplessness if they get tied up, just as real bondage would do. Escaping from restraints needs to involve either time or risk, ideally both. I will gladly consider any suggestion along these lines. Hi Kimy! How have you been? I'm glad to see that you still think of ideas to further improve your already awesome mod! If you allow me to suggest a few ideas; something that I believe would make things more interesting and reduce the boredom of farming keys (actually I've been thinking about it since a long time), would be introducing new uses for these keys in the form of high-risk high-reward dialogues/quests; like the Courier in Chains quest, but with more variations; NPCs would help the player after a few tasks like the player finding/crafting a few devices for them (selfbondage quest synergy/crafting high security devices would be nice too), after the player help them selling keys in the past and so on... NPCs being more merciful for poor low level and wearing many restrains players and more ruthless to the opposite. That's it. Looking forward for your new ideias.

When I was playing around with modding before, I had set up Sexlab Aroused to overwrite the preferences of females to 'bi' whenever I selected them and they weren't already 'bi'. I had also set up a system similar to the nudity arousal based on bondage, so being in bondage around people would cause both parties to get more aroused. (I didn't keep any of these files, though, so I'd have to remake them if I wanted them again :/) I think the more elegant solution would be trying to patch Sexlab itself to tweak the math, but I barely looked through the code before, and 1.60 seems to be a significant change on their end. Of course, patching their code has it's own issues, like your patch breaking every time they make a new change. If I get the urge to try and make my Papyrus compiler work again, I might see what I could do about that.

Basically, collar gets put on you, ebonite corset, ebonite ponyboots, ebonite restrictive gloves, ebonite gag, ebonite blindfold, yoke. Could even add followup to both too, like if you spend too much time as a rubber doll, the collar takes over your mind and makes you walk to dollmaker, who sells you to some rich person (could be black briars, battleborns, one of the rich folk in windhelm/solitude). If spend too much time as ponygirl, similar thing happens, but you get sold to one of the farms or stables. Trying to escape means sneaking out and then either screw around to unlock them, or do some tasks for dollmaker or some new npc who will help you if you do certain ... tasks

Is there a way to manually add companions via console or something, or could you add some sort of spell to cast on companions for the mod to register them?

Maybe use a similar mechanic to jailtime, wherein you have a certain number of days during which the first person to find you can use you freely (with option to wait it out) until you've completely worked off every piece of the suit. Slavery may or may not follow once the suit (now fused into a single piece/potentially inert once off) finally comes off. Other effects might include increased sex attack modifiers, complete inability to communicate, more prone to ragdolling, etc.

Would you consider adding a new event, similar to the Gas Trap, that increases Arousal instead of applying Skooma. Perhaps just change the gas trap to increase arousal if Skooma Whore isn't installed? Not sure how difficult it would be to implement, but how about a hostile, shade-like NPC. When it spawns it's equipped with a number of Devious items and if it 'kills' the player, the NPC disappears with the devices transferring to the PC.

Other effects might include increased sex attack modifiers, complete inability to communicate, more prone to ragdolling, etc. That might be a nice idea, but as far as I'm aware Kimy is no 3d artist so you would need to search for someone willing to do the modelling part at least For the pullable carts how the hell would you do this I'm no modder myself, but I think this stuff stays fantasy its not like game engines have no limits I would also love to see a real ponygirl theme which forces the character on all fours, horse tail plug etc., but I'm afraid not everyone is into this or to say it diffrent no one will take the work needed for that especially Kimy is just a single person (as far as I'm aware) while the devious device's mod gets build by a team of modders like all really big mods 3d moddeling needs a lot of time building meshes textures etc. scripting the devices needs also time so if you want something like this to happen you are better be asking in the devious devices thread especially since its their mod every devices is build on
