Any chance we can get more for the rubber doll quest?

 

Maybe have some sort of timer that if you spend xx amount of time (adjust with sliders ofcourse, any excuse to have more sliders! ) in full rubber doll mode, you black out and wake up at someone's home because the suit took control of your mind and made you walk to this persons' house, who has a special amulet or ring he bought from the doll merchant, intended for just that purpose.

 

Could even be the doll maker herself who wants to have fun with one of her own dolls, afterwards sells you to someone else, where you have to escape and continue to try and get it off again.

 

I wish there was an option for "no head cover"... I like doll, but I don't want my head and mouth covered.

 

If there is already, please tell me where, because I couldn't find an option for that.

Someone else mentioned the plugs being a *bit* annoying. I agree although it does add a little to the devious nature of the mod... being unable to pretty much do anything in combat constantly can be beyond  frustrating. Forcing the PC arousal up has problems of its own and every spell cast or sword swing just results in a 5s animation ... annoying! 

 

Please let us choose the type(s) of plugs Kimmy!

Also having the problem with DCUR refusing to start due to male character/child edits, but I have no idea which mods that would be. Spent a few hours trying to find the culprit.

Could PC Exclusive Animation path be causing DCUR to think it's a male character?

Since we don't know specifically what your mod is checking for it'll be difficult for us to troubleshoot the issue ourselves.

 

I took a look at the validate code that Kimy is using. It's a pretty simple check. It looks for some mods by name: Non Essential Children.esp, RCOTS-Races.esm, Child Follower 2.esp, and Children Fight Back.esp.  If you have one of those there's your problem.

 

It then checks to see if Braith is flagged as a child as a fallback. Finally, it checks that none of your current followers are flagged as children.

 

The function Kimy uses to  check for Braith and followers (isChild) checks for the race being flagged as a child, so I suggest that you load up Tes5edit, leave everything checked and hit OK. When it's done loading type 2C65B in the FormID search box and hit enter (upper left corner of the window). That will take you straight to the NordChildRace and you should see immediately what mod is messing with the kids.

 

I've attached an example screenshot showing what you're looking for. I've included two conflicting mods - Non Essential Children and Player Exclusive Animation Path. As you can see, they deleted the child flag which makes them incompatible.

 

If there are no default child race conflicts, look at all your follower mods and see if they have a custom race, and if they do check to see if they're flagged as children. 

 

Having said all that ('cuz it'll work for everyone) doesn't Skyre make kids killable? If it does I think that's your problem.

Check that Braith is still a NordRaceChild. If she isn't, the child check for her would prevent DCL from working. If she is, dismiss all your followers, save, and restart the game. That way there's no follower for DCL to detect. I did check the mods on your list I wasn't familiar with but couldn't find an obvious culprit.

 

If both of those fail, I'm not sure what it could be. Except, maybe, are you playing as a man?

 

On my load it says Braith is a RedguardRaceChild, and I usually dont play with any followers and had restarted and started new saves when I got the error, and Im playing as a female Ningheim (which used to work on my old pc). Also thank you so much for helping and RIP for looking at my mods.

There is a saveword in the MCM debug menu. If you dont like the items you get, you can use it to remove them. You could also disable the hardcore effects in the DD MCM.

 

 

I am aware of the safeword menu option, but didn't know that the "hardcore effects" was the animations ty. 

 

But I am just saying an option for the plugs would be cool, like we have for armbinders and corsets.

I actually like the animations. You are walking around, and suddenly the vibrators are activated. And with the vibrators active, at some point I see my character being distracted and playing with herself, or at least trying to. The main issue not that this animation might happens when walking around, but that this animation always happens during combat.

 

As I personally like it when my character is forced to endure orgasm denial, I have been searching for plugs that vibrate, but not always vibrate during combat. And for the orgasm denial part, won't let the victim have an orgasm. So far I only found the anal plug "teaser" from Captured Dreams

Does anyone use Defeat? Is Cursed Loot's defeat system better than Defeat?

 

I've used defeat with death alternative in the past, and had way, way to many issues to consider keeping it. I tried out submit, and the new offshoot surrender, as well as the DCL combat surrender, and all of them seem to have issues. On my current play through, I decided to try just using defeat (with devious captures for devices) and honestly, its been pretty damn reliable. I have it configured to have a 50% chance to get defeated if I go below 20% health. Sometimes I get killed (which in my opinion makes sense, since obviously in real combat the goal is typically to kill the other person) and sometimes I fall to a knee and get raped. I'm also using the options for exhaustion (hit from behind with less than 20% stamina) and hit by unblocked power attacks (5% chance if they are using a 2-handed weapon).

 

With the new Sexlab 1.60 I haven't had a single crash or bug happen where the scene didn't trigger correctly (I did turn off foreplay scenes for the time being, since Defeat seemed to want to play those before rapes happened though). I turned off creature rape (just not my thing personally) and set it up so that only actors that can actually rape me will cause me to go into the downed state. I'm pretty happy with how its working. And I have 230 mods active in my load order right now too.

 

I like that Defeat has options for having the enemies steal your stuff after you get raped, and that NPCs can also rape each other. Plus if you feel like it, you can try to rape someone else too. All in all, I would recommend using Defeat by itself and avoiding DA at all costs. Once DCL's combat surrender gets fixed (supposed to happen in the v5 update Kimy is working on) I might give it another go, but I admit I'll miss some of the options Defeat has.

I like the idea of DCur's combat surrender, but it's currently a little buggy (and I'd like the option to have the combat surrender cooldown be 0, while still having a cooldown for other sex attacks. That just makes more sense to me). Honestly, I don't mind the fact that it makes you invincible, as long as it triggers an attack when you hit that 0 health invincibility stage instead of letting you continue fighting because your cooldown isn't up. Also, the death on toggling the combat surrender off can be fixed with a Player.resurrect command in the console (or toggling one of the godmode commands before and after you switch it, but I forget which).

 

Defeat (by itself, not with DA), seems very reliable for triggering attacks, assuming you don't get into a fight with something that can take you from above your % health cut-off to dead in one hit (I've died a couple times from this). I use 20% health with a 100% chance, 10 or 15% chance on exhaustion (I forget where I left it) and another 10 or 15% on 2-handed power attacks.

So when I update to 4.10 I am INSTANTLY killed at loading.  4.9 worked great, but now its load screen, bleedout, death, loas screen bleedout death loadscreen ad infinitum..   Not sure whats going on here.  Just finished a complete uninstall, savetool clean, and reinstall of all Sexlab and Devious Device related mods but I'm still stuck with 4.9 anyone else have this issue and/or know how to fix it?  Thanks

Could PC Exclusive Animation path be causing DCUR to think it's a male character?

Since we don't know specifically what your mod is checking for it'll be difficult for us to troubleshoot the issue ourselves.

 

I took a look at the validate code that Kimy is using. It's a pretty simple check. It looks for some mods by name: Non Essential Children.esp, RCOTS-Races.esm, Child Follower 2.esp, and Children Fight Back.esp.  If you have one of those there's your problem.

 

It then checks to see if Braith is flagged as a child as a fallback. Finally, it checks that none of your current followers are flagged as children.

 

The function Kimy uses to  check for Braith and followers (isChild) checks for the race being flagged as a child, so I suggest that you load up Tes5edit, leave everything checked and hit OK. When it's done loading type 2C65B in the FormID search box and hit enter (upper left corner of the window). That will take you straight to the NordChildRace and you should see immediately what mod is messing with the kids.

 

I've attached an example screenshot showing what you're looking for. I've included two conflicting mods - Non Essential Children and Player Exclusive Animation Path. As you can see, they deleted the child flag which makes them incompatible.

 

If there are no default child race conflicts, look at all your follower mods and see if they have a custom race, and if they do check to see if they're flagged as children. 

 

Having said all that ('cuz it'll work for everyone) doesn't Skyre make kids killable? If it does I think that's your problem.

Check that Braith is still a NordRaceChild. If she isn't, the child check for her would prevent DCL from working. If she is, dismiss all your followers, save, and restart the game. That way there's no follower for DCL to detect. I did check the mods on your list I wasn't familiar with but couldn't find an obvious culprit.

 

If both of those fail, I'm not sure what it could be. Except, maybe, are you playing as a man?

 

On my load it says Braith is a RedguardRaceChild, and I usually dont play with any followers and had restarted and started new saves when I got the error, and Im playing as a female Ningheim (which used to work on my old pc). Also thank you so much for helping and RIP for looking at my mods.

I'm stumped. The code in dcur_library.psc starting at line 2548 is very simple and clear. Check some mods by name, check that braith is a child (that her race definition has the child flag set), and then cycling through nearby followers to see if any are children. 

 

Have you tried enabling the male checkoff in the MCM menu? That's the last thing I can think of trying. I'd also suggest double checking that the redguardracechild child flag is set.

So when I update to 4.10 I am INSTANTLY killed at loading.  4.9 worked great, but now its load screen, bleedout, death, loas screen bleedout death loadscreen ad infinitum..   Not sure whats going on here.  Just finished a complete uninstall, savetool clean, and reinstall of all Sexlab and Devious Device related mods but I'm still stuck with 4.9 anyone else have this issue and/or know how to fix it?  Thanks

If you can load back up in 4.9, try using 'Player.resurrect' before moving back to 4.10.

So i posted my problems before, and i got one of them fixed, and i thought i had gotten both of them with that, but no such luck.

Soliciting still doesn't work for me, if all dialogue works out and they agree, then no animation plays, yet if i then talk to that character again, then it goes on as if the animation had played, also i can get restraints locked on me if the attempt fails, just the animation doesn't work, does anyone know of a fix?

 

(animations that were called by other means, such as defeat, do work, only soliciting doesn't seem to want to cooperate)

Some thoughts / ideas for the pool...

 

For all those (yes, mee too!) who cannot stop fiddling with all those shiny sliders and toggles while bound, I suggest that more MCM entries - actually nearly all apart from some on the Debug side be greyed out.

As it is now, only escape settings and event parameters are blocked. That doesn't stop from setting the CL chance to 0 or deactivating CL events in Debug and just looting tons of containers for keys. Plus, the complete blocking of those two MCM sides prevents from actually looking at the settings if I haven't played for some days and forgot what I enabled, disabled or adjusted. I'd like it better if they were greyed out (inaccessible) instead of blocked.

What I'd like:

- General, Events and Devices pages: disable all settings. Far too much possibilities for bound damsels to cheat themselves out of devices.

- Event parameters and Escape options: disable settings instead of blocking the pages.

- Optional mods, Follower options and Self bondage pagess: can be left as they are.

- Misc options page: disable lucky charm chance and punishing items level

- Solicitaion and Sex attacks pages: not as easy to cheat with them, but I don't think they need be adjustable while bound, y'know?

- Bondage adventure and Rubber doll pages: no no, no lowering the settings now! You adjusted it yourself...

- Device comments: grey out the NPC actions sliders

- Self bondage: Deactivate "Shut down all functions" and "Cursed loot events".

 

Maybe add another "Hardcore" toggle for this...

Anyway, that is my 5 cents on how to improve this best mod off them all. Still amazed that this jewel exists, thank you Kimy for a great mod!

Or type tim (toggle immortal mode) and save before the install. 

 

Turning off cursed loot's defeat system does this. So you type tim in console before disabling to keep it from killing you.

I completely understand, since I have no interest in devious male items either. It's no big deal, for the moment deviously enchanted chests does most of what I want. However, there are a few features that would make me want to try out DCL.

Someone else mentioned the plugs being a *bit* annoying. I agree although it does add a little to the devious nature of the mod... being unable to pretty much do anything in combat constantly can be beyond  frustrating. Forcing the PC arousal up has problems of its own and every spell cast or sword swing just results in a 5s animation ... annoying! 

 

Please let us choose the type(s) of plugs Kimmy!

The plugs and associated scripts come from Devious Devices if I am not mistaken, Kimmy just provides some events to get them in you.  They can be annoying because they seem to fire off way too often sometimes.  I am not sure if they react to arousal or not.

I got another question, I got everything working fine but I got a puzzling one problem and maybe its just a setting I over looked. But currently for solicitation with ONLY men, they always say "I am not interested in women." The animations and everything work, I can use solicitation towards women no problem but when its a male npc they always respond with "I am no interested in women." (Also I can go through the dialog and options no problem, but they jsut always reject the advance with that response.)
