Goddamn, I am getting real sick and tired of this API error. Especially when it happens 5 starts in a row making me have to restart the game every single time until it doesn't say the error. I already installed Aroused redux's files as suggested to fix it but it doesn't work! What patience I had for this minor problem is now running out.

 

Blame Skyrim for being an unstable POS, don't get mad at us. Once again, I can't even reproduce it. Some peoples' setups just have a higher tendency towards instability.

 

 

HELP PLZ

All creatures (except dogs) do not have a penis even if they are having sex.

what should i do? 

should i install other mods?

 

Re-register mods in the Creature Framework menu.

I thought I followed it all word for word but I am still left with none of the animals/creatures penis showing. Did I miss a step, or get a step out of order? Been looking all over the place to figure it out but I am burnt out now.

 

I dont see an option to re register mods. Perhaps thats a problem too.

I've been struggling getting 9.1 to work correctly. I read the link regarding using mod organizers (seeing as I use NMM), but don't completely understand the issue nor the explanation of possible solutions. My knowledge and understanding of these things are minimal at best. Out of desperation I did a manual install, overwriting any applicable files in my data directory. The problems in-game persist.

 

Is it too difficult to get 9.1 working for me at this point in time (should I just wait for an update/simpler solution)? Will the manual install I did cause problems going forward (I did not do a backup)?

 

Any insight is really appreciated. Like I said, I've been struggling understanding the issues listed with the current version as well as the solutions already presented. More information may help me better understand the problem.

EDIT: To clarify my problems I am having the "Creature Framework API not found" issue. When I do manage to start a game without this issue I notice many of the older creature animations are missing or not playing at all.

First of all make sure that your load order is the same as on the description page.  As far as the "Creature Framework API not found" issue, I was experiencing the same thing.  I found a recent thread where others had this issue and one person reported that installing Sexlab Aroused fixes the issue because of the way the Papyrus(scripting) is set up for Creature Framework.  Try installing Sexlab Aroused and see if it works because this was the solution for me.  I never really wanted to use Aroused but I just turned off most of the settings in the MCM so its like its not even there. Hope this helps!

Don't install Creature Framework and More Nasty Critters.  More Nasty Critters already comes with Creature Framework so that might be what is causing your problem.  Uninstall both of them and only install More Nasty Critters

Don't install Creature Framework and More Nasty Critters.  More Nasty Critters already comes with Creature Framework so that might be what is causing your problem.  Uninstall both of them and only install More Nasty Critters

 

I use sexlab 1.60 hotfix2 and the 160 creature animations. Are you saying I don't need the 160 creature animations mod?

Hey, try installing this "SexLabAroused_V21" maybe it fix and run FNIS...

Hey Dentarr, i have new animation ready for sabrecat (lucky sabrecat week i guess). But i can't realy realese it without 1st testing it ingame. I tried my usual "replace the old sexlab files" thing but as always animation is rotated 180. No biggie, ill just remove the rotate comand line from sslcreatureanimationdefaults.psc on sabrecat animations and compile script again. Worked for draugr before. Wrong! Even smallest change to sabrecat scripts couses matchmaker to fizzle off. Any idea what to do with it? I realy don't wanna give you unpolished animations.

Someone puts files on Mega for easier download. The day I decide to update mods, Mega is dead. I hate my life.

Hey Dentarr, i have new animation ready for sabrecat (lucky sabrecat week i guess). But i can't realy realese it without 1st testing it ingame. I tried my usual "replace the old sexlab files" thing but as always animation is rotated 180. I can handle some testing and fiddling no sweat.

 

But I have a version ready with your Draugr and llabskys Sabrecat so I guess using that one for your Sabrecats would be easyer.

Delaying release because I would like to include the Riekling 3some of Funnybiz and need some feedback from him about placements...

Umm in my Creature Framework, pretty much over half of the creatures just have "Disabled" and don't have any mods registered. I'm pretty sure it's not on my part so... Is the mod broken?

 

Kind of annoying since most creatures no longer have a penis so they just get to hump air.

The mod is not broken, the problem is on your end.  I'm using the current version with no problems at all.  Reregister the mods through the MCM (make sure to leave the MCM after hitting the button and waiting 10 seconds before going back in to check).  If they still aren't there then look at you install.  Again, not a problem with the mods, it's an install problem on your end.

Load order checked and fixed. Aroused installed and running. I am no longer getting the API notification when I start a new game, thank you. I am now getting an error message when I attempt to enable creature animations via SexLab. "Could not enable, FNIS Creature Pack or SexLab creature files not detected". During attempts I re-register mods through MCM then reset Animations in SexLab, closing menus and waiting ample time in between. I have uninstalled and re-installed both SexLab and MoreNasty creatures several times during my many attempts. LOOT and FNIS are run with no issues.

 

I have been a long time user of MNC without prior issues. I just recently re-installed Skyrim with MNC and all of its recent updates in mind, so I don't think I would have any other conflicting mods or clutter. I hate being a bother - I really appreciate all of the work of everyone on this forum (especially the modders). But after spending several more hours on this I am stumped. Any more suggestions?

Oh don't worry, I don't blame you. My recent experiments with the vampirism system have lead me to believe that Skyrim does a lot of faults.

The only thing I can think of is that you forgot to download the "creature animations v160" from the main Sexlab framework page, or you forgot to download the FNIS creature pack.  I think the best way to check to make sure that everything is installed correctly is when you run FNIS. Update your FNIS behavior and post what you get or compare it to mine here.

Didn't work. I tried deleting my MNC and redownloading and reinstalling it but same problem. For whatever reason it just doesn't detect any bear/troll/giant/wolf among other meshes and still has the "re-register" button greyed. I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

 

God damn this is frustrating I've been using this mod for fucking ages and now all of a sudden it just stops working for me. Why is it that there's always a mod or two that just breaks for no good god damn reason? Honestly I feel like I spend more time modding and fixing broken mods than actually playing the game....

 

Edit: I seemed to have fixed it although I think I might have to make a new game which is more than irritating. I reinstalled the mods, used tes5, fnis etc. etc. however I suspected it might have been LOOT messing with the mods so I simply didn't use it this time around and it seems to have registered everything. For now, I'll just manually handle my mods instead of using organisers and hopefully everything works.

Thanks for the update dentarr. I see 3rd and 4rth stage of my animation got completly fucked up, Looks like the cat is dancing on ice. Also i fucked up the aligment :/

Will have to redo this.
