It is to the east of Fort Greenwall, whether it is north or south depends on the map you are looking at (in game is a little north).

Lost Vigil (or close, but far enough away not to screw up "The Ebony Warrior") would be a cool place for a house. There's enough open space there to place a mansion with giant hot tubs. Good screenshot location.

And hang on... the old one is that troll cave between Uttering Hills Cave and Morvunskar, right?

I finally figured it out (I think) because I remember standing in Morvunskar looking at the mountain in the background.

I hope I'm right.

It's actually the same place but I think this cage is slightly lower down...?

I mean, the two locations are about six feet from each other... and if I'm not mistaken, this pic was taken right in the middle of the whole thing, so it could count as either location... which, again, is just one big location.

So, yes, it's Dead Crone Rock.

 

Sometimes I just have to laugh at Skyrim's design in places.
