What body mesh should I use for SexLab's new default animation alignments?

Sexlab default alignment should probably work best for vanilla skeleton with nude bodies. Since you've made it possible to save custom alignments people can now share their SOS on UNP or 4UDicks on CBBE alignment files so it may be useful to have a sticky thread just for those.

Voted CBBE as I use it and as I am egoistic, in addition I can't stand those bony UNP butts and breasts.

 

...and SOS Default Body is just fine. No Bodybuilder Version pls, because of all the muscles you can't see the action :-)

I hope SoS light is the same as SoS' full default and average.

 

As for female body, I am using CBBE, but actually thinking about changing to something else. Technically CBBE is probably the better choice because of its body slider, but if the animation can only line up with default CBBE and none of its slider alternative then that pretty much defeats the purpose.

 

UNPB seems popular with good armor support, but seem to be slowly being diverge into 7B and UNPBO with those who prefers slimmer bodies stuck with UNP.

 

Too bad Unibody isn't ready because base on its pitch it seems to be a good choice.

 

I am almost tempted to say HDT body since it is fully feature in terms of what it supports out of the gate, but outfit selection seems a little light.

I switched to Lady Body 3 (Demonica).

HDT PE works amazing now. As a own race there is not considered - AA no support for Demonica race.

 

So I would say UNP/UNBP/7B is probably used most often.

I vote for CBBE becouse its most favourite body,easy instal,if mod require body its  99(maybe even 100)% CBBE so you dont need searching for remake,

i like how its look not extreme slim like other and have soooo many armor or even pregnancy armor.

and Better male becouse easy instal.

I love UNP and UNPB lots personally and I guess UNP, UNPB and 7B are similar (or identical) in the areas that are important for sexlab alignment so they can be counted as one body for that purpose probablish. I think lots of CBBE users use bodyslide so those people will have to tweak their alignments in MCM anyways.

 

By the by I'm curious: what bodies were the animations fitted to before the poll?

Is it fair to have 'unp' and 'unpb' when really unpb is just a bigger unp? unp to unpb should be considered one mesh type in polls like these (imo).

I voted for UNPB. I don't really care for CBBE and it's variants. I use SeveNBase myself, but I voted for UNPB because it seems like a nice middle ground between the very curvy 7B, and the very small UNP/UNP Skinny.

We can morph the original unp bodies with Bodyslide2 and Bodyslide UNP, Sir.

You can morph any mesh with Bodyslide 2 and/or any other program based upon it.

UNPB is the default recommend body with 1.5 and 1.51 versions of sexlab so it seems Ashal made his decision already.

More like UNP won by a landslide actually, since as others have mentioned, unp and unpb are essentially the same just different breast sizes. I consider their votes more or less combined.

 

Male body on the other hand is clearly a landslide, it couldn't be more clear people want the last option.

then the poll was kinda tricked for unp to win since there wasn't any cbbe variants like CHSBHC some people requested here too~ and in the end, the one recommended on the main sexlab download is a pretty much niche body like unbp...

not that i notice diferences between cbbe and unp in this matter though.

I use UNP/UNPB for my girls.

It's male nudesuits that annoy me.  Overall, I wouldn't mind the SoS default body, it's the best design for male characters I've seen, compared to how crude 4udiks is and how freakishly large FavoredSoul's is.

 

But I don't care one wit for SoS in its entirety.  I could care less about its erection system, etc., so I don't use it.  If the SoS version is default, is it just the mesh for the erect nudesuit, or is the SoS functionality going to be necessary?

Just the mesh since this is for alignment. Which means the equipment just needs to be in the same place on the same mesh.

I don't mean to ask you to do a ton of extra work, but here's a crazy thought:

 

Why not have a MCM setting to pick between "UNP Based" and "CBBE" ?  As I understand it, there is only a bare minimal difference between UNP and UNPB and it's all in the chest, so it shouldn't change alignment for anything aside from a titjob (though I may be wrong about that.)  7Base is only a few shape changes from UNPB, i.e. leg shape changes, but the exact position relative to the ground for the lady bits should be the same, no?

 

I mean, set whichever you like as default as long as swapping between those two is a simple toggle rather than manually adjusting every last animation, I say.  I've used UNPB-BBP, CBBE, and 7Base.  The legs are not to my taste on 7Base so I'll probably never use it again (even though otherwise I really like it.)  Now I'm using CBBE but I'd like to go back to UNPB-BBP because the installer for it on the Nexus is bar-none the single easiest to install body mod I've ever found and it just works, period.  (Sadly it neither lines up well for Sexlab, nor has 2 of the armors I'm using now.)

 

I guess I'd vote UNPB but a toggle between UNP-Based and CBBE sounds like a solution that should please 95%+ of the user base to me.

The custom settings for race X vs race Y can be saved to a file. That file can be uploaded here so we only need one person to do it once for the regular races using say SOS and CBBE and then uploading the file and then everyone could use that file from then on.
