Well, because I'm much more romantic than fetish, sadist or, in short terms, pervert, I gave a try to this "little DLC".

 

- Amazing work. Interesting, never boring, bugfree, stable, very well done with extreme care, nice and approrpiate dialogues, full voiced. In one word: EXCELLENT.

 

BUT ...

 

- I'm a female and I play with female characters, so ... DELUSION, in the end. Mainly because:

  a. As you stated in the OP there are only two males (the Companion Brothers) who have the right dialogues. I understand you don't have motivations to expand this to other males but, of course, it's a bit limited for my own "aspirations".

 b. I like to have sexual relations with females too, because I'm bi. But there are availables ONLY cowgirl animations (with strapon) and this is a lot negative, for me.

    There are many and well done lesbian animations, mainly from Leito but also from other author and i have them all. But I cannot use them, even with SL Tools by Goubo.

 

So, in the end, thanks for your great effort, your amazing work and everything ... but I will no longer use Amorous Adventures.

 

Regarding the animation choices, pretty sure that's not too hard for FoxFingers to change, just no one has asked him yet if so.

Yeah, I get that a lot from female players.  I just can't get into doing the male romances.  I'm wired wrong for it.  I'd rather put a cigarette out on my tongue.

 

But the question I keep coming back to is - why is there no Modder doing that?  Why does it even have to be me?  Why won't somebody do that?!

 

They don't, though.

 

Anyways, as far as the Animations go, I think you just uncheck the ones you don't want to use in the SexLab MCM and it stops using them.

If a mod is set to play a certain scene, like a cowgirl scene or a specific scene like Arrok lesbian, then it doesn't matter if you have it toggled off, it will still play it (at least it did for another mod, goddamn I hate arrok lesbian by now). It's always best to not set a specific scene or type of scene to play unless it's absolutely needed, like kissing.

Well, I got a quest with Carlotta Valentia almost complete.  A tender tale about the trials of a single mother which may or may not include a viscous killer rabbit.

 

 

I was planning to release it with other new quests for the Two Year Anniversary but maybe I should try and resolve this animation issue and put a new version out before then.

 

Sounds like it's kind of a problem for people.

Like someone mentioned above, use the 'CLEAN' version and use 0sex instead. I just recently discovered the mod myself, but the animations are developer tier and a lot more romantic. Honestly wish more sexlab animations were as such.

Oh god sorry i forgot that i had to activate Sexlab seperatly in the MCM. Thanks for your help and your awesome mod! Do you have any recommendation what male mod works best with AA?

 

As far as bodies / genitalia go?

Schlongs of Skyrim ("SOS") I guess is all you need. 

 

And, on the female side, you may want to try "All-In-One HDT Animated Pussy" if you are using HDT,

There's a WIP quest with Sigrid all mocked up in the Mod already.  It was submitted by RealCardia.

 

It could be a good quest but it's built strictly for a female Player Character.  It doesn't really work for a Male character.

 

Also it needs a lot of dialogue and the accompanying voice work to make it flow more natural.  I just need to figure out what to do with it.  It would be a lot of hours on the voice work I just haven't felt like putting in.

I 100% agree with this and would even add that the quest and the lovers thereof are reward enough without you having to provide extras unless you are having fun doing so. (Let's just say I completed one of the newly changed quest in the early teens still wearing leather and went "whoa, I won't have to re-gear her in a long while" when the reward was about 20+ levels above my pay-grade (loot table), heh).

 

In terms of new adventures (if you are in the mood), there are tonnes of "beauty mods" now, perhaps choose one that already has a quasi quest associated with them so you don't have to write one up from scratch. For example, perhaps Tonilia (now improved with Bijin NPCs) eventually wants to reward the strapping savior of the Guild with more than upgraded versions of thief armor. Perhaps Linly (now smoking hot with improved bards) wants a protector when you discover her identity.  Could be as simple as a third option on the return trip 1. Tell (fail), 2. Don't tell (get lover) 3. Assassinate Sibbi in prison (get lover) - by the time one unlocks the Linly quest, one would have gotten all that one needed from him for the horse theft quest already, but I recall you getting some flak for taking out Aerin, so option 2 is still there for those who just want to go vanilla.

Lynly Starsung is another vanilla quest with no real reward for saving her. If you get the job from Sibbi to find her, then find her, then tell Sibbi something else entirely, the quest ends and you can't go back and tell her she is safe.

Exactly why it could do with an AA ending, yeah?

 

Hypothetically, AA's Stage 10 would start when you find her (Vanilla transitions from Stage 20 to stage 30) - similar to Saadia's AA start mechanic when you tell her people are looking for her and an extra dialogue choice pops up along with the vanilla.

 

When you go back and lie, vanilla ends, AA goes to Stage 20; Quest log reads:

Go back to Lynly and tell her she is safe

<optional> Assassinate Sibbi to make sure (i.e. it does nothing but add flavor for those who want to)

After Aerin falls dead, Mjoll pops in looks at Aerin and goes "By the Gods..." I then try to talk to her and it wont even go to the conversation interface. Mjoll just says "Get out of here. I'm in no mood for talking." This probably my fifth time through this quest and I've never seen this before and it's the first time I've ever had an issue with AA (seriously Fox, Bethesda should take QA lessons from you). Anybody else see this?

Was kind of hoping for a male PC equivalent for Sigrid to the Gerdur quest, if I'm honest.

I'm like you, the female pc stuff doesn't really 'do it' for me.

Of course, Amorous is the complete reason behind me ever wanting to create a mod like DFD, so thank you Fox for creating a wonderful and truly unique mod that we all enjoy so much.

 

 

Also, thank you Shinji (no idea if you'll ever see this) for showcasing Amorous so that I was able to find out about it.

 

When I was watching that video and heard the dialogue from Ysolda, I was amazed at how well someone was able to create new dialogue for characters. As soon I heard that, I knew I had to have the mod and ever since installing it, it's been locked in my load order for the last year without a hint of being moved.

 

 

Again, thank you Fox for creating a one-of-a-kind, and well done, mod that breathes life into characters as well as showing us what you are able to do with the voice assets, and how much of an impact in can have in-game.

I've had this problem before, and I recall using the console to stop and start a particular quest. However, I can't remember the name of the quest I typed in (sorry), but it would most likely be either: WIKill01 or WIKill05

 

If you don't want to mess with the console, just follow what Sacremes recommended and that should also fix the problem.

Just now got around to loading up this mod. Holy shit, this is one of the best add-on I have come across in a long time. The tie-in to the vanilla quest-lines is perfect. Well done!

 

Side note, because I started this mid play though and already had Lydia as my steward at one of the Hearthfire homes, I now have two  Lydias. It got a little confusing, but I figured out that the 2nd one was the one that was involved in continuing the quests even though it was my steward that went with me to complete quests.

 

I'm probably going to have to do another play through now.

Thanks to Sacremas and Swiss for the hints. I was also able to fix it by not taking any companions into Aerins house. I had Illia with me (I couldn't leave her in that creepy tower) and as long as I left her outside when I went into Aerin's house, everything inside the house fired off fine.
