Brynjolf please! He is already involved in a great quest and needs just to be spiced up a little with romancing stuff.

So I'm a lesbian and I'm not into men. I'm not turned on by them at all. so I'm not picking based on my attraction to them, because there is none. I just want to tell a good story and if I don't feel like I have one, then I won't tell one.

Brynjolf is not part of a good story, he's part of the worst written story in the game. It's bad.

Like FoxFingers, anything I do will be because I was personally interested in it. I don't like Brynjolf (also can't stand his accent), I don't like the Thieves guild and there's nothing redeemable about that storyline. I apologize if this upsets you or if you feel I am being too harsh. It's just how I feel.

I'm going to tell a good story first and I'm not basing my decisions on attraction or anything. I've already started on the first quest I plan to do. I want to do 2-3 but I don't know if I will have the time or inclination for more than one, it's a very involved process already and I'm only picking out lines, I haven't done sound editing yet. It's an amazing amount of work :)

There are 2 stories I have in mind though.. the one I'm working on now, and another one. I won't spoil anything, and I can't promise anything either, everyone has their own tastes.

I understand what you mean. Thief Guild Quest doesn't have a good story. But I thought it brings a great amount of interaction with Brynjolf to build a relationship on it and many lines that could be used to make some nice story to feel the gaps and to find a good explanation why he joins Nightingales and so on. Maybe someday there will be someone who likes to work on it.

I've made myself one promise for next playthrough though, if I ever see a shiny pretty little Unsual Gem... avoid the temptation of picking the bastards up. One less reason to join the thieves guild.

Bbbuuuttt...  they're so pretty....  And they're just sitting there, beckoning me...

If someone made a mod that was a crypt just outside helgen filled with every one of the goddamn Stones of Barenziah, it would become my second favorite mod after Amorous. As it is... those things are so beyond useless I refuse to hunt for them any more.

I was going to ask If you have any plans for Jenassa or Uthgerde. to read that you are allready working on a quest for Jenassa is exciting news. has anyone else mentioned Uthgerde as a possible questline? I have her and Jenassa as  followers at the moment, they are both very easy on the eye thanks to a mod called warmaidens.  i just completed Lydia's quest and earlier I finally got in Ysolda's knickers. this mod is the best I've played so far. good dialogue and plenty of travel. I levelled up twice, fighting bandits and creatures whilst walking around after the khajiit.

I play as a tall busty lesbian Nord blonde. . thanks to Zynish's animations, and Leito's new ones, all the sex she has had with her lovers has been very realistic. ( unlike the moaning!)  I fell in love with Ysolda, but I will probably end up marrying Lydia again. just as I have in all my previous playthroughs.

You might also try Bijin Wives (Same guy who made Warmaidens).  It makes Ysolda look stunning.

Anyways, no plans for Uthgerde(sp?) but Jenassa is well underway.

I'm looking at adding some romance for players around different parts of Skyrim.  Jenassa's quest is really a Windhelm quest with Adelaisa Vendicci.  After Windhelm I'm looking to add some romance around Falkreath with Ria and Angi. And after that some romance in Winterhold with the wizards, probably.

All depends on time and motivation.  But I'd like to get a bit more in before I get sucked into something like Fallout 4.

Thanks!

Oh yeah, romancing Brelyna, or Faralada and Niya (reconciling their bickering), a Restoration ritual with Colette (maybe messing with Destruction master Faralda accidentally burns out something in the Dragonborn and Collette helps heal it, could send him to Danica and involve her since she's actually the Restoraion master trainer), and who knows what else would make going through the Mages Guild questline AGAIN so much more enjoyable.

I've never played the College of Winterhold mod here on LL, but doesn't that cover all that?

I kinda thought it did.

Nope, not at all. It sets up entry requirements and requires you to actually have some skill in magic before you can do vanilla quests, including paying tutors extorbiant fees. Now to get up your spells so you can take the next quest you can either go out out and shoot fireballs at bandits, pay the tutors to train you as normal... or offer your body to them, or almost certainly their strap-on for some reason, in which case your skill in that goes up by one point after some hours of magic knobbing. So good for perhaps making the College questline more realisitc (nothing's keeping you from becoming a archmage with 15 in all magic skills in vanilla), good for adding alternate ways to train... but very limited in terms of any sort of romance or the like.

Next play I'm dumping ALL of the mods that have a least chance of doing that again. Dammit I haven't killed Alduin since I had a unmodded game, never gotten that far in a modded game in what's closing in on 4000 hours of gameplay. Makes me wonder if I should be writing modding guides honeslty, but as they say, you learn from your mistakes... so I've learned quite a lot!

You know what would be interesting would be to play someone elses modded vision of what Skyrim is.  I mean load up and play their Mod Bundle in a Mod Organizer profile and experience their Skyrim.

I imagine my Skyrim - what I've made it to be with the Mods chosen - is very different from yours or somebody elses.  I mean, my bundle probably doesn't have a lot of the fancy stuff you use, but then again it doesn't crash either. :)

Yep, and if you'll look at the absolute last post in my modding guide now you'll see why that is so.

If you want though and are interested in a playthrough I can give you a list of cool and actually functional (found it out the hard way) mods including fully voiced ones and the like, just in case you want to look at what other people are doing.

I'm not expecting you to though because like I also said in that last post, mod authors in general use very few mods themselves. I know why even, it makes it almost impossible to find out errors in your mod that's not caused by overflow from other mods, at least if you're not using Mod Organizer. Plus there's the old subconscious plagarism issue, but I kinda don't think that will be much of a problem to you, not many (or ANYONE) doing romance stories out there.

For a start try out this mod, it's probably one of my favorite mods ever, it's the College of Winterhold and it just makes it SO much better without channgign the NPCs at all (there's an apperance overhaul int here but it's optional), instead it's the actual building that changes, and the detail is so goddamn beatufiful I promise you once you put this in and compare it to what was before and the tons of extra lore and immersion you're never taking it out.

I did look at an early version of that a year or two ago but at the time it wasn't compatible with my lighting, ELFX.  I'll have to check it out again.

Posted

It's got a ELFX and some other patches that can install during the scripted installer, looks beautiful with ELFX + enhancer with Climates of Tamriel and a good ENB.

Take a look at this as well, like the College it adds nothing to NPCs and rather to areas, but just try to add it then walk around Whitrun, Riverwood or Solitude for five minutes and tell me you want to take it out.

Oh yeah, and to round it out a bit, take out all of your texture mods for landscape including caves and mountains and such except water, armor and people basically as well as any flora overhaul, and put this one in instead to cover all of it at once. Also disable the high res bethesda packs for being shite that slows your system down.

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61995/?

There, that's it, with JK*s and TRHD your entire Skyrim is now visually overhauled to a huge degree. Add your ENB of choice to round out, but note that TRHD needs a very new ENB, runnign I think enbseries v 0.265 at least, with the settings described in the mod, or your roads becomes rollercoasters and your caves impassable.

Note by the way that with this if you were using Bethesda packs or a lot of separate mods you are probably going to see a framerate jump, rather than drop.

Yep, and if you'll look at the absolute last post in my modding guide now you'll see why that is so.

To which you wrote:

One thing I've noticed that is very common with modders is that they rarely use any other mods than their own, and their friend's mods. Few modders have a mod list higher than the 50s, and basically just automatically don't consider the fact that you might have a lot of other important things going on, because you installed their mod after all and so it must be the most important thing in your game. And this attitude basically is what leads to dead savegames.

And I figure that's the difference with how I treat this Mod. I go completely the opposite way with it - lightest footprint possible.  And why I play with a near max mod load order, even while testing.

Posted

See man, if you want to make me love you more all you had to do was smile and wink suggestively, and not say something as preposterous as modding with a full load order, and "light footprint" and such sexy words that make me tingle. This will do though, thanks. :)

Posted

Oh by the way, a bit ago you were wondering if people were still playing this old game?

Well, let's just say it's not dead yet. There is in fact a whole world out there for you to explore.

You'll want to go full screen on that one, trust me.

Uh...I don't know a lot about computers, and downloading this proves to be very challenging because I can't seem to download anything without a mod manager (like on nexus) and it's very frustrating. If anyone knows how to explain the manual download concept to a technologically challenged dumbo like myself that would be much appreciated.

Since you're downloading on Nexus I*m going to assume you are using Nexus Mod Manager. Be aware I'm typing this with one eye shut having been awake for three days so not everything may make sense. Ooh, look at the pink butterflies... right.

First off make sure you have FNIS off the Nexus, here; http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11811/?

You need FNIS to run any animation mod, which sex stuff is.

Also you'll need a decent skeleton for this, so get our own Groovatrama's skeleton;

http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/676-xp32-maximum-skeleton-extended/

Save it to yorur deskop like Gopher in his guides, or put it in C:\Skyrim Mods or the like so you know where the backup is.

Errr, for this part I'm going by memory two years old so bear with me. In Nexus Mod Manager (grumble, you should select uninstall Nexus Mod Manager and select download Mod Organizer. What? Fine, we'll do this NMM), click Add Mod from File, should be one of the upper symbols, browse to where you stored Groovatrama's skeleton, and select it, NMM will make a mod out of it. You'll get a FOMOD like you did with many Nexus mods. You want the top skeleton in the end. If you want to use Schlongs of Skyrim for your naked lads, get the racemenu for that as well.

You can by the way find Schlongs of Skyrim here; http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/498-sos-schlongs-of-skyrim/

Note that skeleton alos needs Racemenu 3, and all of this will need the newest non-beta (get the beta it's fine, but for this you just need non-beta) SKSE build.

Nowd ownload Sexlab Framework here;

http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/150-skyrim-sexlab-sex-animation-framework-v159c-updated-oct-3rd/

Click Download, then only download "SexLabFramework-v159c" not the other ones. Save it to a folder like C:\Skyrim Mods\Sexlab. Or do like Gopher and save it to your desktop. Though I'd like to see Gopher do a guide saving Sexlab Framework to his deskotp. I think the odds of having sex with half a dozen pornstars at once is much higher.

Download this as well, it's a requirement. And also very good. http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1488-non-sexlab-animation-pack/Now download this mod, follow the link from the first page of this thread on the bottom, do the same way with both as you did with Sexlab Framework. Install both of them and activate it.

Now open the folder (from windows not NMM) where you have Skyrim installed, this may be C:\\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam Apps\Common\Skyrim or where you put it. I'm going to just assume it's exactly there. expand the Data folder, then go into the Tools folder, then GenerateFNISforUsers, go in and find GenerateFNISforUsers.exe or the like, run it, run through it. In Patches where you can tick boxes, tick the following; "Skeleton Arm Fix" "Gender-specific animations" and "Groovatrama's Skeleton" at the bottom, then run it. If you've done this correctly you'll see Sexlab Framework pick up and get processed. At the end hit "check for consistency errors" just in case, you should have no errors if youv'e done all this.

Now start up Skyrim, wait a few moments and Sexlab Framework will load into your MCM (I'm just ASSUMING you got SkyUI). It'll also find NSAP, Non Sexlab Animation Pack. Scroll down to that and go into it and for sure activate Leito's Kissing 1 under Leito's animations. Fuck it activate all except the furniture animations, theyr'e good. Now go down into Sexlab Framework, go to the bottom section of Sexlab Framework's MCM and make sure that the mod is running, then hit Reregister animations, and wait a few moments. It'll come up as done. Tadaa. Also go into Schlongs of Skyrim and possibly Racemenu to adjust your own penis size as you'd like... or the males penis size if you play female. Sigh, also you'll need a naked female body, otherwise, err, little point with the sex yeah.

Yeah think that was all. Now Imma gonna go pass out. Or watch porn.

I've never used Nexus Mod Manager, so I'm certainly not qualified to speak on it myself.

I use Mod Organizer.  My reccomendation is Mod Organizer and to follow the S.T.E.P system to set up your game.

You need Sex Lab and it's requirements.  And you need Amorous Adventures.

Both have big green Download buttons.  You download the file to your computer and then open your Mod Manager (whatever you use).  Hopefully that Mod Manager will have abutton to "Add Mod From File".  And that will open the file you downloaded earlier and put it in your load order.

I'm pretty sure Nexus Mod Manager has such a button if that is your Mod Manager of choice.

Thanks!

I used to be clueless about mods too.   I only used the Nexus mod manager for everything.  then one day I googled a hair pack I needed for a mod and discovered LoversLab. I'm old and slow, but I get highly motivated like most old men when it comes to beautiful young women and erotica.  so LL was a  paradise for me.
the idea that I could have a character whose breasts and bottom jiggled when she moved was so exciting, I learnt how to manualIy install the required files with teenage enthusiasm.  I quickly learnt where the game folder was and which folders were relevant to the mods. I learnt about meshes and textures and esps etc. when you read the installation requirements for a mod and follow the authors instructions, you can't go wrong really. my advice would be, don't install anything when you are tired or drunk. I have many times. big headache. I also recommend watching Gophers videos on youtube about modding Skyrim. he has a video on the STEP guide wiki site that explains all about Mod Organiser and how to install it and set it up. I only use MO now. it hurt my brain in the begining, like everything new when you are old like me, but now I can use it with some confidence. when you have many many mods installed and you like to swap some of them for others like I do, Mod Organiser is a god send.  everytime a new body replacer comes along that I like the look of, MO makes it much much easier. before I had to uninstall every mod connected with my current body type and install the all new ones.  if I didn't like the new one, guess what? yep. reinstall the the old ones again. I learnt not to delete the fies in the downloads folder after a while. some files took what seemed like an hour to install again. chronotriggers HDT clothes and armor for example. but now with MO it is a breeze to swap files.

I've finished the script/voice files for my first quest and sent them off to FoxFingers.

Awesome!  Amorous Adventures first quest submission.  I'm excited!

Hey fox if you are going to start adding a load of gay or male npc content to the main plugin can you at least make it supremely obvious and easy to shut off? (like Vilkas and Farkas)

Or even better can you put it into a separate addon plugin?
